When I do get married, I am only doing a court wedding and no one from my family will be there since I am not doing it in Nigeria and have zero plans to ever visit.
Okay cool!
You seem to be afraid of Tpain

My dad never paid my tuition fees all the way from primary school to university. When I was going to university, I didn’t go to university in Nigeria. He practically told my mom not to waste the money and she should use it to build house in the village. When I say useless, I mean useless. Of course he can’t call my phone cause he knows what he will receive.
Hmmmn...now I understand where the pain is coming from but God don bless you already that's all that matters. Just don't commit sin through your father. In your wedding day if your Dad shows up, I guess you won't pick someone from nairaland or Chile.

People always say the worst mistake a man can make is marrying the wrong woman. I actually feel that as a man it can only be the worse mistake if you allow it be the worst mistake in your life. Men have leverage and men can always walk away from any situation. Men easily abandon their wives and children and move on like nothing happened. Out of 10 men at random, 9 men will easily abandon their families and feel absolutely no guilt. It’s completely different for women. The worst mistake a woman will ever make in her life is marrying a bad man. I used to be so judgmental to women especially with how hypergamous and all they are but with what I have seen so far, women aren’t even brutal enough with regards to the choice of partners they have to make.
Look at my father, I have never seen someone in my life that is so useless. Honestly, I ask myself how my mom even married someone like that. It would have been better for her that she never married or she even became a single mother because that’s what she is. Would you believe that since I came to chile my father never sent me one dollar 😂😂😂. Your only son went to study in another country and you couldn’t even send him money. The money I used to come here was my savings from when I was working. If the fool dies today, family will be disturbing me to perform rights as an only son for someone who never did anything for me. To think my story isn’t even unique. There’s so many like me and so many married women that are pretty much single mothers. So many Nigerian men are completely useless and that’s one of the reasons Nigeria can never get better. It’s not just the politicians. The average Nigerian man living in Nigeria is completely nothing to write home about. Completely useless and extremely stupid.
I also my neighbor. Very beautiful soul. Came from a middle class home and married a poor man for love. She lived in poverty until she died. It wasn’t even up to six months after her death this man was already showing another woman on his status. Her first son now steals and does yahoo. Her younger son was just expelled from secondary school for homosexuality. I just pray her daughter is alright. It’s not even up to a year and the man can’t even hold his family. Doesn’t drop any money at home doesn’t do anything. Not even a year. Like what was the point. Wouldn’t it have been better for her to never have gotten married at all
I don't know your pop but it's disrespectful to call him useless

Why is it that the northern government always flex their muscles when they are victim of ethnic cleansing. They have forgotten that they are more guilty of this than any tribe in the country. The last time they killed a girl because of blasphemy or the one that happened in the church in Ondo, who did they compensate?

You will likely not get a visa to those Eastern European countries due to their tight immigration policies. Check their Nairaland threads for more details.
Netherlands is good provided you have the right skills needed by the economy and you learn Dutch. As a Black African, Belgium sounds like Kogi to me anytime I come across the name.
But Belgium is easier to enter. Netherlands looks okay. What are those skills needed in Netherlands and generally in Europe?

Is it that Belgium is easy to enter or their standard of living is trash? And also what are those skills one needs to survive in Europe generally.

Who are the black professionals (second generation) that you know are based in Belgium? Those who work good jobs in top companies?
None that I can say, but what of someone use it as a transit spot to a better country. And what can you say about the likes of Netherlands, Czech Republic and Poland. Are they any better?

Yes, the "doing it for my children" is absolute nonsense unless the person gets a good job in the abroad. The only country I can accept such is the US and maybe Canada due to its proximity. Elsewhere, the chances aren't that good. UK even try sef. Countries like Spain, Northern Europe and elsewhere are dead ends for second-generation black people. Look at ? Apart from Tidjane Thiam, I am to yet to read about any stellar black person who went through the system compared to the US. Another unfortunate one is Belgium!
Anything aside scholarship or getting directly employed or transferred by an organisation in Nigeria to the branch in the abroad is nonsense. Covenant University is there, ditto good universities in South Africa.
What happened to Belgium?

Experienced kwa.
Let's say you are a react developer. I would expect you to be familiar with popular react state management systems and react reactor alongside ability to design with css.
For your question, make your own research.
Okay, thanks

.
Since you asked.
One, you need a positive attitude.
You see what you just typed is false. You are only saying that because you hear people say that either on Twitter or here on NL. Most people who are working don't have time to argue online or have opinions or AI or whatnot. It's only celebrity developers who earn true having opinions online that say those, many of them are not even developers and we all know AI is a buzzword that will always generate traffic.
I once spoke with a founder of a small company and the way the guy spoke, you'd think he's the next Linus Torvalds but he can't code shi.t. These are people you probably listen to. But if you have evidence to prove your say aside dem say, I will be happy to hear it.
Secondly, you need to work hard.
You need to build project and keep learning.
Then you need to start applying to job. You should make it your duty to refresh job sites on a daily to check for jobs that you meet the requirements.
I have been applying lately but some jobs just dust away my CV but on the projects part I need to do better. I do frontend by the way, as an experienced person in the industry, do you have any idea on projects that can land me entry level job

It's a dairy. You can't.
Oh okay, I wanted to ask about the response you gave on my previous post, what can I do differently because those I know in the industry who are rejecting jobs are the seniors and you know entry level now is almost being wiped out

All of u that are mentioning PGDE, did u ask him if he has the money for it?
PGDE in University of Lagos now is 416,000 Naira o.
Federal University o.
Can his teaching job enable him raise such?
As for going back to do UTME to study whatever in 2025, that is a NO...NO.
The Tech world has advanced above University degrees.
Just pick a Tech field and get skilled in it.
That's serious, what about masters?

I read your post on how you are finding it hard to break into tech.
What you need is to change your approach. I don't know what you are doing but you are doing it wrong.
Even if you acquire an extra degree, no one will hand you a role in tech if you are not competent.
You need to take the tech thing serious, learn the trade. Bad as it may be in 2025, people are sending rejection letters to HRs because they got offers from another company on twitter.
Hmmmn... It is well
