For those applying to TAMUK for fall 22,please is this a normal occurrence on the Applytexas platform as aLL the credentials filling spaces keep saying "the school doesn't ask applicants to fill out this ".

Depending on the course;PhD programs are well funded than Master's;Also try to write to some profs in your dept of interest, although not compulsory but it goes a long way in getting an ission with tuition waiver.

Those people are funny set of people .
It's a good thing you wrote the letter sha ,beacuse that Facebook page is NIS Servicom page ,it's the customer query page for people to track their port .

Not everybody has the luxury of going to the port office everyday ,reason why people use that page .There are some people here whose port would have been ready a month ago but will still be relying on insider's info.

But there is gist o. Somebody kindly shared NIS Facebook page so I sent a message to find out if my port was ready.

I did not get a response so I decided to go today since it is already 6 weeks.

Immediately I wrote down my name, I was taken to the office of the assistant comptroller Ogun state command. The man told me my message has caused a ripple effect and he had been receiving calls from everywhere. He even showed me the message on his phone.

The message was a simple message o. I just asked for the person in charge of the page to help me check if my port was ready o.

He told me to write an apology message. In my mind I was like 'for what na'. I however wrote a thank you message that I already collected my port and I wasn't aware it was ready.

I have sha collected my port

Na the message wey NIS give me since 6th of this month and my insider still dey tell me say them never print am ,She still tell me today say na this night them go print am .

My gut told me to today,dropped my name and tracking number at collection point ,10 minutes never reach them call my name with my port .

UPDATE :

Just collected my port at the Ikoyi office this afternoon .
Captured 10th of June and printed 4th of August (Renewal).
Insiders are not reliable ,knew it was ready when I sent my tracking number to NIS on Facebook and they updated me it has been ready since 4th of August while my insider was saying rubbish .

Who else is having NIN issues in the Ikoyi command? I just need to do a change of name and I was told the server was down.

Only heaven knows when this will be rectified and I need the port ASAP

Omo Ikoyi is on a different level,I have told people I know to avoid that place like a plague .
How can capturing for port renewal that as been done since June 10th still be in production,when Alausa and Festac are providing port within 4 weeks.

Ikoyi Office matter tire person, other centers in Lagos are issuing port within 4 weeks,this already the 8th week,our own still in production.

And I need this port for my exams in 3 weeks time .

I did on the 10th of June at ikoyi for renewal j haven't collected yet...when I went there last week they told me it was still in production...but I am going to go back by next week to check again....hope this answers your questions

I finally got my port today. Strictly DIY. Spent 29k in total. I captured on the 18th of June and was asked to come for it on August 23rd. I decided to go check on it today that's before the due date for Collection and luckily got it. Now I can apply for jobs with my full chest. Thank God
