Please I applied online for my International port (DIY) because I don't have enough money for the agent path and also because I would not be needing the port soon.

The online application process went well and I was scheduled for capturing on the 25th of May, 2023. I got all documents ready except the guarantor's form.
A day before the capturing, the person who promised to give me the data page of his port and to act as the guarantor said it will no longer be possible for him to give me.

I have tried reaching out to another person and he told me that he is not with his port and that he will get access to it in about two months time because he is currently in a different location.

Now, I recently heard that I must have to go to Abuja for another capture even after capturing at the state office I choose for my capture.

Please at this stage what do I do? Because I checked online to reschedule another date for capturing and they told me that the center does not have provision for rescheduling.

Also is it true that I have to go to Abuja again for another capture after capturing at the state office I chose?

Go to their office, meet an officer and explain to him/her, they will find your file and you capture. You don't need to go to Abuja.
There is a thread for port, go to the thread and ask all your questions.
Finally, a lot of people have ports, just ask around, you will surely see someone that will sign the form for you. You get a copy of the person's nin too. People are only being too careful because of criminals.

As much as I know, you are not entitled to a refund.
This the Graduate School office has confirmed.
You have two options, either to apply for a related field/program or wait for next year's application.

Go to a notary public office or any Law firm with "notary public" inscription, you can also do this at the Ministry of Education office if you reside close to it.

203 is kind of low for a competitive course except you can ace high in post Utme.
You can change institution to a state uni.
If your background from secondary school is not in science, once you're itted I believe you can fit in so far you study.
What's important is to make sure your SSCE result aligns with the course you're itted into.

Ok. The reason why I'm asking is the person in question does not have a background in Science but has been able to attend tutorials and scored 203 in Jamb. So we're a bit skeptical of her chances in scoring that high in her PostUTME, plus we don't want her to stay at home anymore.

Which other courses would you recommend please? That's good in this dispensation of lack of job employment.

What's their cut-off?

With your Jamb score, you qualify for their Post-Utme.
Nursing cutoff after Post-Utme is usually about 265+
So if you can score up to 300+ in post Utme, your chance of being itted is high.

I had 242 in Jamb and 300 in Post Utme and I was given ission in one of UNICAL's most competitive courses.

Try UNICAL but you must be ready to study hard for your putme

Please how do I recover my money from Union Bank?
On 19th April 2022, I went to use their ATM at about 8:10 a.m and I was debited N20k without cash dispense because the machine went off while counting the money due to power failure from the bank's generator house.
After 24hrs I went to their branch to lay a compliant and they acknowledged the dispense error and started that it will be reversed after 24hrs which did not happen.
I called their customer care line 2 days later and one of their agent told me that it will be reversed after 24hrs and that she has sent It for manual reversal.
Despite this I didn't get the reversal.

I again went to the bank last week Friday, 23rd April and the customer service apologized that it must be reversed that day which did not still happen.
I chatted them up on Twitter, and they claim that it has been reversed, and after proving that nothing has been reversed they stopped responding to my messages on Twitter.
I sent them a mail and they didn't respond till yesterday, where they stated that the issue will be resolve within 48 hours.
Nothing has happened yet.
I tried calling their their customer service now and I noticed that I can no longer reach them with my two lines, probably they blocked my line.

P.s; I am fully aware that they have breached their obligation in respect to banker-customer relationship and that I would be entitled to damages if I sue them for this.
But the truth is, instituting a legal action now would be too expensive for me coupled with the litigation process.

Please what do you suggest I do apart from litigation?

Thank you Nairaland and everyone for your advice.
After my post was moved to the front page by the mods, I received a call from a staff of the bank early this morning apologising for the inconveniences and that the fund will be reversed.
After that, I received a series of calls this afternoon from their head office in Lagos and also the branch I went to complain apologising for the same.
In less than no time my money was reversed back.

It's their ATM booth inside a university campus, immediately the machine went off, it brought out my card.
I went to the branch that owns the ATM to complain.

I even received a call from someone this morning in respect to this, and the way he was talking he may be a staff of the bank, he apologised and promised that it will be resolved soonest.
