I'm really depressed, I failed JAMB again
(Since 2018, I've been trying to gain ission to Nursing.)

I scored 231
And I want to study Nursing.

Please, which University will it me with this score?

With your Jamb score, you qualify for their Post-Utme.
Nursing cutoff after Post-Utme is usually about 265+
So if you can score up to 300+ in post Utme, your chance of being itted is high.

I had 242 in Jamb and 300 in Post Utme and I was given ission in one of UNICAL's most competitive courses.

If you not careful, Last lass you go just miss your ission again. Just pick either OAU or UI teaching hospital complex (school of nursing), 4years degree course, full of practical experience that makes one confident in oneself as a certified nurse. School fee is #150,000 per session, the form is out. It's just #12k. They are not under ASUU. And you have a better prospect of traveling out to the UK for practice once you are able to the conversion exam.
It's not everybody that must go to university,
University isn't for everyone.
I wasted 7 year studying that yeye cramming course called pharmacy in OAU. See nursing has better prospect once you leave the tertiary institution and the labour market. See Nurse's are hot cakes not like iranu pharmacy.

203 is kind of low for a competitive course except you can ace high in post Utme.
You can change institution to a state uni.
If your background from secondary school is not in science, once you're itted I believe you can fit in so far you study.
What's important is to make sure your SSCE result aligns with the course you're itted into.

It's National diploma in nursing science.
BNS is under university setting.
It use to be a 3 year course before, but ever since utme became mandatory, it became a four year course, the fourth year will serve as degree awarding program. Hence ND becomes BNS at 400level.
Here, unlike in the uni where one has to take math 105 and 106, physics 105, chemistry and the likes of zoo and botany as a 100level nursing science student. Here part one you get to put on your uniform from the start of the program (about 3 different uniforms they use)...u get the opportunity to go straight to your professional courses at 100 level, Just dat year one will be full on basics in anatomy and physiology.

I NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) IN NURSING


Requirements

Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other results. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on ission.

Method of Application

Applicant(s) are advised to obtain year 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) form and sit for the examination, so as to enable successful candidates regularize their ission status with JAMB as soon as they are itted into the OAUTHC Schools of Nursing.
Applicant(s) are advised to choose OAUTHC School of Nursing, Ile-Ife as their first choice of institution.
It is compulsory for the interested applicant(s) to for these four (4) courses in their UTME form online, namely: - English language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
The OAUTHC Schools of Nursing both at Ile-Ife and Ilesa respectively have been accredited by the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) to run National Diploma (ND) in Nursing.

I've tried FCT-SON before, I sat for their entrance exam, they didn't release our results. The school just release ission list. I was not itted. (But now, I'm not interested in SON again cause I will eventually want to go back for my BNSc at the end of the day)


Even my friend that went to a private SON has gone back to the university for her degree through DE.

I don't want to through the stress of going to SON, then going to university again.

I can actually give in my best concerning the Post UTME part, but my fear is that courses like Nursing is about who you know in Nigeria Universities.
