Tsar Bomba, (Russian: “King of Bombs”) , byname of RDS-220, also called Big Ivan, Soviet thermonuclear bomb that was detonated in a test over Novaya Zemlya island in the Arctic Ocean on October 30, 1961. The largest nuclear weapon ever set off, it produced the most powerful human-made explosion ever recorded. The bomb was built in 1961 by a group of Soviet physicists that notably included Andrey Sakharov. At the time the Cold War between the U.S.S.R. and the United States had grown increasingly tense. Meant to be a show of Soviet strength, the three-stage bomb was unparalleled in power. It had a 100-megaton capacity, though the resulting fallout from such a blast was considered too dangerous for a test situation. Thus, it was modified to yield 50 megatons, which was estimated to be about 3,800 times the strength of the U.S. bomb dropped on Hiroshima during World War II. In addition, the fusion process of the Soviet device was altered, dramatically lessening the fallout. The resulting weapon weighed 27 tons, with a length of some 26 feet (8 metres) and a diameter of about 7 feet (2 metres). Although officially known as RDS-220, it acquired numerous nicknames, most notably Tsar Bomba in the West. (2 metres). Although officially known as RDS-220, it acquired numerous nicknames, most notably Tsar Bomba in the West. A Tu-95V bomber was modified to carry the weapon, which was equipped with a special parachute that would slow its fall, allowing the plane to fly a safe distance from the blast. The aircraft, piloted by Andrey Durnovtsev, took off from Kola Peninsula on October 30, 1961. It was ed by an observer plane. At approximately 11:32 AM Moscow time, Tsar Bomba was dropped over the Mityushikha Bay test site on the deserted island of Novaya Zemlya. It exploded about 2.5 miles (4 km) above the ground, producing a mushroom cloud more than 37 miles (60 km) high; the flash of the detonation was seen some 620 miles (1,000 km) away. The resulting damage was equally massive. Severny, an uninhabited village 34 miles (55 km) from ground zero, was leveled, and buildings more than 100 miles (160 km) away were reportedly damaged. In addition, it was estimated that heat from the blast would have caused third-degree burns up to 62 miles (100 km) distant. Although a success, Tsar Bomba was never considered for operational use. Given its size, the device could not be deployed by a ballistic missile. Instead, the bomb had to be transported by conventional aircraft, which could easily be intercepted before reaching its target. Thus, Tsar Bomba was viewed as a propaganda weapon. Following the 1961 blast, Sakharov became increasingly involved in efforts to limit nuclear tests to underground. Such a ban was signed by the United States, Britain, and the U.S.S.R. in 1963, and numerous other countries later ed the treaty.

This might turn out to be something bigger, and let's hope and pray for the best. Other nations should move with caution cause Russia, might be tempted to include Nukes strike which might leads to retaliation from others Ukraine or other nations. Moreover let's just hope for the best. 1 Like |

Scholes has revealed that during his bad days/times as a player sir Alex told him he doesn't have to try harder but keep it simple (do the basics) and everything will progress normally. For Rashford's bad performances I think he is trying too hard he should just play normally and leave the magical aspect out of it for now and not only to Rashford but to most players out there and to we ourselves we can also apply this to our everyday activities, those of us who are having a hard time. I just feel it's a nice Advice and some of us can learn from it. Good day and God bless you all. 1 Like 1 Share |

.Peter Crouch has a perfect answer to the debate about the greatest footballer.“I am convinced that what Lionel Messi does for Barcelona drives on Ronaldo” – Peter Crouch’s epic answer to greatest footballer debate It has been more than 15 years since the rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo started and debates about who is the better player still continue. There is no perfect answer to the question as the two forces of nature continue to defy their age and are still dominating the game.Former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch's answer to this question has resurfaced and is perhaps the best possible conclusion to this debate. “He [Ronaldo] will not entertain the idea of losing and I am convinced that what Lionel Messi does for Barcelona drives on Ronaldo. How many times have you seen Messi score a hat-trick one night and then Ronaldo do the same 24 hours later? It can’t be a coincidence." “I never got to see Diego Maradona play, other than on TV. I have seen only clips of Johan Cruyff and Pele and read about the feats of Alfredo Di Stefano and Ferenc Puskas, but I honestly believe Ronaldo and Messi are the two greatest players who have ever breathed." Crouch also urged fans to savour the two legends rather than arguing on who is better. The 41-year-old added: “Really, though, the argument about who is better should stop. We do not know how much longer we are going to see them and we should just enjoy what they are doing without trying to make one of them second best." “These players have provided countless memories for countless people, whether it was with a trick or a flick in a little game or a goal to win a trophy. Do not separate them. Savour them.” Fans are lucky to witness Messi and Ronaldo at the same time. The fact that Ronaldo and Messi have as many as 12 Ballon d'Ors between themselves is a testament to the greatness the two have achieved in world football. The two icons have pushed each other over the years to achieve so much and dominate the game for so long. "Not even these footballing Gods can defy father time" - Gary Lineker suggests age is catching up to both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi Gary Lineker: "Messi is 35 in June. Ronaldo has just turned 37. We should probably lower our expectations. They still do wonderful things, but not even these footballing Gods can defy father time forever." With Ronaldo and Messi now aged 37 and 34, respectively, fans should look to embrace the two before they eventually hang up their boots. We have been lucky enough to witness these two and should savour them as Crouch suggested. 1 Like |

I bought a phone and I used easy buy to pay the remaining 16k the sales personnel was the one doing all the easy buy stuff. After hours it was successful, I asked them if I maybe I didn't meet up completely with the payment can I pay it up with the next installment, they said yes I can then I later discovered that I will be paying back 20,000 in 3 months installment, I don't know what some of you think about it but for me the interest is on the high side. So due to circumstances I paid 5000 out of 6938 I was supposed to pay hoping as the week progress I will pay it up. Since then these guys has being disturbing me calling my line sending countless text messages, to top it all they are even adding extra charges to the balances for each day missed. My take is that I was err cause I was supposed to do a research about them and their policies instead of relaying on the sales personnels and I urge anyone who want to do the easy buy to think twice before embarking on it. What's your own experience if any. Thank you. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Ralf Rangnick has added Ewan Sharp to his coaching staff at Manchester United. Rangnick has recently brought Chris Armas and Sascha Lense to the club and analyst Sharp is the latest addition to his staff. The German worked with Sharp when he was the New York Red Bulls' video analyst and assistant coach. Sharp then followed Rangnick to Lokomotiv Moscow in Russia while he's now relocated with the 63-year-old again, this time to Old Trafford. Rangnick called Sharp 'such a talented person' upon his appointment at United and he'll be in the Reds' dugout against Newcastle. United is the biggest club that Sharp has worked with, so how will he actually help Rangnick in the coming months? Sharp, speaking to the Training Ground Podcast last year, explained his role on match days, which involves helping at half-time in the dressing room. "Typically, I’ll always be at the game days,” Sharp said. “I’ll be at the match, I’ll watch the match live. I’ll help prepare some video for half-time and as I’m watching the game live I’m already setting up some clips for us to make the next day in a team meeting or later in the week. "But prior to that game, I’m already working ahead for the next game, so if we play on Saturday then by Sunday or Monday I’ll already have something prepared to give to the coaches to show them what we can expect from the next opponent. "That will come with video and some data, it's a little bit of a report." United play Newcastle at St. James' Park on Monday 28 December and Sharp will be involved in Rangnick's preparation.

Manchester United are still in search of their defensive midfielder. The arrival of Sancho and potentially Varane is likely to have made an impact on the transfer budget. That said, it could be the right time to experiment with Lindelof further up the pitch. Victor Lindelof: A Potential Solution in Defensive Midfield for Manchester United Victor Lindelof Started as a Midfielder When Victor Lindelof first arrived at Old Trafford, he was quizzed about his best positions and his playing style. During the interview, the Swede stated that he started his career as a midfielder before moving back into defence. A couple of days later, his manager at Vasteras confirmed Lindelof’s story during an interview with the Manchester Evening News. Granath said that Lindelof started training with the first-team as a 15-year-old. He started in midfield but later moved to defence after he was deemed ‘too high’ for a position in midfield. Back in 2019, Lindelof gave us another glimpse into his formative years during an exclusive interview with ESPN. The Swede said that he started his career as a No.10. He later played as an eight then as a six before playing in defence. But, he often thought about himself as a No.10 in his head. Jose Mourinho, the man who brought Lindelof to Manchester, also spoke about the idea of playing the Swede in midfield. But four seasons later, Manchester United are yet to experiment with Lindelof further up the pitch. Victor Lindelof Fulfills Many of the Criteria’s for a Defensive Midfielder Defensive midfielders are often one of the most underrated players in a football team. They rarely share the spotlight. But, their absence often disrupts the balance of any team. A good defensive midfielder has the ability to read and break up play. They have great confidence in their abilities. Their technique, game awareness and defensive skillsets are often their striking attributes. They also have high concentration levels, stamina, and provide a calming influence in midfield. Most importantly, they have good positional sense and tactical awareness. Potential Strengths A glance at Lindelof’s abilities is quite noticeable to understand that he fulfills many of the categories. Lindelof is a ball-playing central defender who marks the area rather than the attacker. He often jockeys the attacker and draws him to less dangerous areas before committing a tackle rather than going head-on against the opponent. A player with great game reading ability, Lindelof has the ability to nip attacks in the bud. He has helped stop several attacks early before they have transformed into dangerous offensive moves. He also has very good game awareness and has found himself taking up good positions on the pitch. One of his major attributes is his ability with the ball. Lindelof is very good with the ball at his feet and has a wide range of es in his arsenal. He has showcased the ability to progress with the ball and initiate attacks from deep. Last season saw Lindelof spray dangerous long balls for the forwards, which was a common sight during his Benfica days. Nicknamed the ‘Iceman’, Lindelof describes himself as a calm player. Over the years, he has shown a tendency to crumble under pressure but in most physical situations. However, on the ball, he has lived up to his name. His communication skills is another attribute that is rarely spoken about. The central defender communicates very well with his defence. His fitness record also speaks volumes about his availability. Apart from his difficult debut season in England, Lindelof has played 40 or more games in each of the last five seasons. Some of these attributes are not quantifiable, while some can be broken down into numbers. According to Whoscored.com, Lindelof has a career 88.5% completion rate. The Swede also averages one tackle, one interception, 3.7 clearances and 0.5 blocks per 90 mins. These numbers are not eye-boggling but are decent for a defender. According to Fbref.com, Lindelof possesses a press success rate of 31.5%. He also has a 57.1% career dribble success rate. The numbers indicate the Swede’s ability to progress with the ball and defend without one. Potential Weakness The Manchester United man is obviously not the ideal player to play as a defensive midfielder. The Sweden international has his own set of flaws that could potentially hamper his chances of playing up the pitch. One of Lindelof’s major drawbacks is his lack of recovery pace. He is not one of the quickest players on the pitch and has struggled while playing against quicker opponents. He has found himself struggling to get back into great positions after being beaten by a pacy attacker. Another of Lindelof’s major drawbacks is his less aggressive playing style. As mentioned before, the 27-year-old likes to draw attackers into difficult positions and make challenges rather than taking a risk and confronting them head-on. Playing as a defensive midfielder often compels a player to make that quick decision rather than drawing them into a less dangerous position. Heading is another department that has seen Lindelof struggle to cope. But being a defensive midfielder doesn’t always require a player to have the best heading attributes. Now the obvious one would be his lack of experience playing further up the pitch. But having a little experience of playing up the pitch can help the coaches to successfully re-train the 27-year-old. The Arrival of a New Centre-Back Manchester United will almost certainly be buying a new centre-back this summer. French World Cup winner Raphael Varane is reportedly very close to securing a move to Old Trafford this summer. The arrival of a new centre-back could potentially leave Manchester United with six first-team central defenders. While Axel Tuanzebe is likely to leave the club on loan this season and the future of Phil Jones is still uncertain, Nemanja Matic could play in defence if any injury crisis hits the Manchester United backline. This scenario could help the Red Devils explore a bit more of Victor Lindelof’s talents. With the incoming player likely to replace Lindelof in the starting 11, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could experiment with the 27-year-old in a slightly more advanced role. Versatile players always have a better advantage over players that are capable of playing in just one position. The presence of two great defensive midfielders, Nemanja Matic and Michael Carrick, could help ease Lindelof into the position. |

Paul Merson has itted his surprise that Arsenal or Manchester United didn’t move to sign Saul Niguez ahead of Chelsea FC this summer. The Blues confirmed a deal to bring the 26-year-old midfielder to Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy last week. Saul will now be looking to establish himself as a regular fixture in Chelsea FC’s midfield this season as the south west London side aim to challenge for the Premier League title. The Spain international helped Atletico Madrid to win the La Liga title last season and he’ll now be aiming to prove himself in the English top flight. Former Arsenal midfielder Merson, however, has revealed his surprise at the fact that the Gunners nor Manchester United competed with Chelsea FC for Saul’s signature. Merson said: “Chelsea now have a midfield dreams are made of after getting Saul Niguez on deadline day. “What a phenomenal g that is. He’s in his prime. He’s just won La Liga. He plays in all the big games. And you get him on loan. That’s amazing. “He’s only going to cost £30m if they make it permanent as well. Where do you ever find players like that for that kind of money? Amazing. “Chelsea already have three great midfielders in N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic. He’s the fourth. “And they are going to need him. They are going deep in every competition this season. They need players. “I don’t know why teams like Manchester United and Arsenal didn’t go in for him. Look at their midfields. “United have Paul Pogba but he can’t play in a two and then it’s Fred, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic. “And Arsenal ended up handing a new contract to Granit Xhaka… The difference in class is enormous.” |

Manchester United may have just signed Cristiano Ronaldo to lead the line at Old Trafford, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still on the hunt for a long-term centre-forward. Ronaldo signed on a two-year deal with an option of a further year, but Erling Haaland remains a primary target for United, along with the rest of Europe's elite. Haaland will become available for just €75million (£63.9m) next summer as a clause will be activated in the Norwegian's contract, and the 21-year-old will have a rare luxury of choosing where he wants to play — assuming he wants to leave Borussia Dortmund. Erling Haaland is likely to be on the move next summer Wenger is one of the most respected figures within the game and the 71-year-old is currently FIFA's chief of global football development after ending his 22 year stint at Arsenal in 2018. When asked about Haaland, the Frenchman has described the Dortmund striker as a "super talent" and thinks that he is destined to move to the Premier League, as the financial pull of the English top-flight is too strong. "I think that [Haaland's move] will happen," Wenger said, speaking to Bild. "The economic power of the Premier League is too strong. English football is dominant because it is where the most money is. The best players always go the best way to make the most money." The two standout talents of the current generation are Haaland and Kylian Mbappe and Wenger is unsurprisingly extremely fond of his compatriot. But the Frenchman believes Dortmund frontman Haaland is up there with the PSG star, showing the 21-year-old with praise. Will Erling Haaland move to the Premier League? Let us know in the Comments below Arsene Wenger has given his views on the future of Erling Haaland "Haaland is likely to be the next high-profile goalscorer after Mbappe," he added. "He’s a super talent. His ambition, his will to score goals and the ability to fight in a duel [set him apart]. "He’s there and wants to win – there is something in him that is great for a striker." If Haaland is to move to the Premier League, it's likely that only last season's top four will be able to facilitate housing the Norwegian. Chelsea's £97.5m capture of Romelu Lukaku potentially rules them out of the equation, leaving both Manchester sides and Liverpool as potential destinations. But Anfield is also unlikely to become Haaland's new home due to the club's defined wage structure, while both City and United are renowned for offering lucrative contracts to their stars. Haaland's father, Alf-Inge, used to play for City and that family connection could hold the key if they make a concrete offer. But the striker's playing style suits United much better and would be the ideal replacement for Ronaldo and Cavani when the Portuguese and Uruguay eventually departs. Solskjaer is also Norwegian and holds a good relationship with Haaland, giving the Red Devils boss a pivotal role in luring Haaland to Old Trafford ahead of their city rivals. |
