Just that my son will be missed greatly, and the unborn won't see me for long until I get to see her somehow someday.
Women are terrible beings.
Note: I'm yet to finalize the union and she's acting this way. While a friend advised I go on with the mrrg that she will adjust later, if it's the opposite I should just divorce. (That turns me off completely) I was told sth like this before I pumped it in again, yet she's the same in her unglorifying ways.
She will not adjust.

Revolut confirms cyberattack exposed personal data of tens of thousands of s

Fintech startup Revolut has confirmed it was hit by a highly targeted cyberattack that allowed hackers to access the personal details of tens of thousands of customers.
Revolut spokesperson Michael Bodansky told TechCrunch that an “unauthorized third party obtained access to the details of a small percentage (0.16%) of our customers for a short period of time.” Revolut discovered the malicious access late on September 10 and isolated the attack by the following morning.
“We immediately identified and isolated the attack to effectively limit its impact and have ed those customers affected,” Bodansky said. “Customers who have not received an email have not been impacted.”
Revolut, which has a banking license in Lithuania, wouldn’t say exactly how many customers were affected. Its website says the company has approximately 20 million customers; 0.16% would translate to about 32,000 customers. However, according to Revolut’s breach disclosure to the authorities in Lithuania, first spotted by Bleeping Computer, the company says 50,150 customers were impacted by the breach, including 20,687 customers in the European Economic Area and 379 Lithuanian citizens.
Revolut also declined to say what types of data were accessed but told TechCrunch that no funds were accessed or stolen in the incident. In a message sent to affected customers posted to Reddit, the company said that “no card details, PINs or s were accessed.” However, the breach disclosure states that hackers likely accessed partial card payment data, along with customers’ names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers.
The disclosure states that the threat actor used social engineering methods to gain access to the Revolut database, which typically involves persuading an employee to hand over sensitive information such as their . This has become a popular tactic in recent attacks against a number of well-known companies, including Twilio, Mailchimp and Okta.
But Revolut warned that the breach appears to have triggered a phishing campaign, and urged customers to be careful when receiving any communication regarding the breach. The startup advised customers that it will not call or send SMS messages asking for data or access codes.
As a precaution, Revolut has also formed a dedicated team tasked with monitoring customer s to make sure that both money and data are safe.
“We take incidents such as these incredibly seriously, and we would like to sincerely apologize to any customers who have been affected by this incident as the safety of our customers and their data is our top priority at Revolut,” Bodansky added.
Last year Revolut raised $800 million in fresh capital, valuing the startup at more than $33 billion.
Take note of the bolded paragraph and exercise due caution as there will be an upsurge in phishing attempts arising from the breach and the attendant unauthorized access to customers' personal data.
Also do well to immediately change all your related details if you haven't yet done so.

A race the black man can (easily) overcome if they demand ability from their govt especially local govt/council, state govt, task their state reps, fed rep and get their senator to work. While at it, they themselves must change attitude and be able citizens.
It's all about national interests.
They'll never be comfortable with our country having an enlightened leader in power, so they'll always incompetent leaders that would promote their interests, which in the case of Nigeria-UK relations, is to ensure a steady flow of our top talent and tuition funds from Nigeria to the UK.
As long as Nigeria's bad governance is forcing this unhealthy brain drain towards their country, they are very okay with that arrangement.
They've realized that they cannot rely solely on tuition generated by their home students or on taxes contributed by their own working citizens, so they devise all these talent and skills-based immigration policies targeted at bringing in international students and skilled workers.
The ineptitude of our leaders has always been our greatest undoing, I swear!
Mugabe tried to fight that imperialism and Zimbabwe has been suffering the consequences till date, through economic sanctions aimed at crippling that country.
Do you think the UK would survive 3 years if a global sanction was placed on it, that prohibited banks of other countries from sending funds to them?
Colonialism still exists today, repackaged in another form.
UK universities want to attract more int’l students

Many top UK universities are reportedly looking to enrol more international students instead of home students amid rising inflation.
They claim that local students pose a significant “financial risk” due to the tuition fee cap of 9,250 pounds. Some elite Russell Group universities say they are suffering an overall loss of £1,750 per year teaching each home student because tuition fees have been static for years amid soaring inflation, reported the Daily Mail.
Nottingham University said their over-recruitment of local students and below-target recruitment of international students have caused them to lose some £3.4 million.
As such, UK universities are now turning towards international students who do not have a tuition fee cap, and who pay up to £30,000 a year. In order to thrive and survive, UK universities are now coming up with new enrolment policies.
Loughborough University’s meeting minutes revealed that they are freezing the number of local students as they devise measures to attract more international students.
The meeting minutes also said that the tuition fee cap, along with the inflation spike, “continues to constrain us financially, and growth in this area would represent a significant risk to the student experience”.
Meanwhile, Manchester Metropolitan University aims to increase international student numbers by 10% and raise international student fee income to at least £31 million, or a 125% increase from their 2016 figures.
In addition to the enrolment policies, the number of local students applying to UK universities has risen significantly too, impacting their chances of securing a place in their desired university.
Chief Executive of UCAS Clare Marchant said UK universities have begun exercising more restraint in their offer-making to local students.
She said the offer rate for top UK universities is seeing a significant drop — 55.1% down from 60.5% in 2021.
The Complete University Guide revealed that international students — including those from the EU — represent more than 50% of the overall student headcount in top universities such as Imperial College and the London School of Economics.
Whereas, according to College News, universities with a third of international students include:
Edinburgh University
Manchester University
University of Warwick
University of Aberdeen
City University
King’s College London
SOAS University of London
Coventry University
University of St Andrews

More international students enrolling in top UK universities
The UK government had set a target in 2019 to attract some 600,000 international students by 2030. This was, however, met 10 years earlier when 605,130 international students entered the UK during the 2020-21 academic year.
In addition, Marchant notes that 2022 now holds the record for the highest number of applicants and applications. It currently sees 667,000 applicants making almost three million applications.

I moved to UK in January 2020 on a student visa, my wife as student, myself the dependant. She was going to school while I was working full time in as a worker, she also worker as worker when she’s not going to school like she does 20 hrs a week while I do mostly 50hrs a week. We earn combine total of £2500 monthly after tax. Then we were living in a one bedroom apartment (room and parlour flat) with total bill of £950 Monthly (rent = 650, council tax = £82, water = £24, internet = £24, Electricity averaging £80, phone bill £20 and monthly bus for 2 of us £70 (35£ each)). We always have more than £1500 for ourself after bills.
After her graduation we decided to move to North West of the UK where house rent are a lot cheaper because we now have a baby and we thought we would need a bigger home. So we got 3 bedroom detached house (duplex) for £650 per month our council tax increases to approximately £110 monthly because my wife is no longer a student, energy bill also increases several time in the last year but we currently paying £154 monthly. Water, phone bill , Internet and Bus remain the same as before which brings our current total bill to about £1100 monthly and both earn combine total of £3200 after tax for working combine total of 77.5hrs weekly.
Thanks a lot for your breakdown of monthly living expenses. It's shed light on what one should expect to a reasonable extent.
I've come to the conclusion that a majority of this resounding narrative on how the UK has suddenly become difficult to live in, is being pushed by those who didn't run a thorough investigation before embarking on their japa journey, while those who are doing quite well, do not bother to respond to those complaints.
A Band 5 NHS nurse can earn roughly £1,550 - £1,650 monthly after tax while working just 3 days a week. If she decides to take up agency roles on her free days, she can comfortably double that pay. Now factor in t income from both spouses and you'll get a basic idea of how much they stand to earn.
I think it just boils down to running a proper investigation, asking the right questions from the right people, before making that japa decision.
The UK tends to favour certain professions, come rain or shine, so one has to think well, choose wisely, set financial targets and live within one's means.
My viewpoint may change as time progresses and I get older, but I think it's best to live in the UK to build life savings and eventually move to another country with a lower cost of living but still has access to good healthcare.
Thanks once again for your post.

Tinubu is too arrogant and currently empty in brain due to excess drugs. He is sick.
He thinks Nigeria belongs to him. . And the youths of this nation will open a new and wide pathway that will put him in his place.
He is also too corruption inclined and sees that system as normal.
His Muslim - Muslim ticket is also a sign of disrespect and shows how he prioritizes personal interest above collective interest of the nation.
Atiku's only and major problem is that he will definitely steal heavily, because he is very loose. So it hard to trust him.
If Osibanjo had been picked by APC, perhaps we would have had 2 viable choices at least, even thou he may be used as a puppet.
Right now, the best option for any genuine and objective Nigerian is Peter Obi.
Most of those craving for Tinubu and Atiku are those benefiting from their corrupt flows. So they don't want to be jobless or broke.
Nigeria will be free.
Succinct!
