@Vicade, you are right there are many people who have more money than their mates who are in the diaspora, but that is an individual matter, it does not speak of the systems in Nigeria only that  wealthy individuals have all the access as against the vast majority of their fellow countrymen/women. Fashola is a Model Nigerian Leader The impact he has had on Lagos is immense. I am a Lagosian and i believe Lagos has improved by far. As for Nigeria as a whole PDP has to go for that to happen. I only argue that we have more than enough Fasholas in Nigeria.

What exactly is suffering or survival to you if i might ask ?

There are good roads,real broadband, social amenities and all that abroad however most people abroad say in the UK for example  work their socks off(maybe two jobs), pay bills,pay tax, Little or no savings,endure racism and ethnic bias,be treated second class(whether you like to it it or not) and some are illegal immigrants. The white man will tell you a Dog Born in a Barn is still a F$$king Dog so you might have the british port but rights are not equal. Take it or leave it Racism is still alive but is been concealed

Based on this,i believe must of the people abroad at least for the UK( which i am very sure of)  running their mouth about Nigeria are even in a more dire state of Survival and Internal suffering unless of course if they are into some shady deals such as drugs or 419 or they are from a very wealthy family.

Nairaland is cool for information and entertainment. Not to talk of the soccer discusions and the rest. With facebook however. i have found many of my long lost friends. i can chat with real friends. check their pictures and all that.

I cannot speak much about education cos i work now but i there was a strike in secondary schools earlier which is now resolved and he brough back the boys scout redcross and other societies to primary schools. I am also hearing of him adopting a free lunch programme for primary schools next year.

water supply is the same cos i still have my own tank and pumping machine like most people have. But there is extensive construction going on at the Lagos state water corporation in Ikorodu so something must be going on for those who rely on the lagos state water corpration

Drainage is the main drawback to the fashola government especially in victoria island and its environs and some other parts in Lagos. But to solve that i think he has to restore those areas to their original master plan which will result in demolitions. To solve the drainage problem in Lagos is the greatest challenge of this government but in ikorodu where i stay no major drainage problem. But if he can fix oshodi and yaba then nothing do am

Traffic lights in Ikorodu has helped a lot

First I am not a member of Daystar but i actually Listen to Pastor Adeyemi's teaching which are very helpful and useful for everyday activities. This is a good development as it will benefit the whole populace and not just of his church and it does not seem like a publicity stunt to me.

So the summary of what he did today: he called me earlier and complained that i hadn't replied his messages which he sent late last night/early morning (around 3am) this was after he ignored for the whole day my own text messages to him. Nehoo i didn't say much n he eventually said bye.
Later on i tried calling him and he refused to pick up his fone (thats part of his usual tantrums). So we eventually got chatn on messenger n i tried calln him on there and again he refused to pick up sayn he was "busy" yet we were chattn on messenger.
I told him i had something important to discuss but he still refused to pick up. I got pissed off and i told him to get lost and stay lost so that was it.
I know it sounds like kiddies stuff but trust me its all him hence the reason i say he is immature! seriously there's more to the story but basically all he needs 2 say is how much he loves me and can't live without me [i][/i]but he rather waste his time with non-graded girls that are just fooling him. He is too proud and just not romantic enough!
