What do Great players say about the Original Ronaldo ? We are not just talking about tap ins and penlaties here. A striker with amazing technique. Cristiano and Messi are icons of the game but the Original Ronaldo is Number one Finisher in the last 30 years or ever.

“The best player I have seen in my career.”
— Clarence Seedorf

In the presence of a myth. In awe of a legend. When five feet from The Phenomenon, even Ibrahimovic had to pinch himself.
In the presence of a myth. In awe of a legend. When five feet from The Phenomenon, even Ibrahimovic had to pinch himself.
“For me, Ronaldo is the greatest. He was as [good as] Pele. There was nobody like him. No one has influenced both football and the players who emerged as Ronaldo.”
— Zlatan Ibrahimovic

“The best opponent of my career? I’ve played against many, many good players, so I don’t know who to keep. But I would say Ronaldo, ‘El Fenomeno’. Why? Because he was my idol and because, as a football player, he was complete. There will never, in my view, be a better player than him.”
— Zlatan Ibrahimovic

“I put up photos of Ronaldo in my room. Ronaldo was the man. Not only because of his step-overs and goals in the World Cup. Ronaldo was brilliant on every level. He was what I wanted to be, a guy who made a difference. [ . . . ] Ronaldo was my hero and I studied him online and tried to take in his movements, and I thought I was getting to be an awesome player. I danced down the pitch with the ball.” — Zlatan Ibrahimovic

“Ronaldo was my hero. He was the best striker I’ve ever seen. He was so fast he could score from nothing, and could shoot the ball better than anyone.”
— Lionel Messi

“The best player I have ever played with? That’s Ronaldo, il Fenomeno. [ . . . ] I have seen il Fenomeno do things that nobody else has ever done.”
— Kaka

“Ronaldo did things nobody had seen before. He, together with Romario and George Weah, reinvented the center-forward position. They were the first to drop from the penalty box to pick up the ball in midfield, switch to the flanks, attract and disorientate the central defenders with their runs, their accelerations, their dribbling.”
— Thierry Henry

“Coaches recommended a second defensive line against him because everyone had the impression that Ronaldo would be able to lose his marker, whether it was with a sprint, or facing a defender directly.”
— Marcello Lippi

A shadow. A ghost. A blur.
A shadow. A ghost. A blur. “When he was one on one with the goalkeeper, you knew — just knew — that he would score. He was so natural, so cool, so utterly in control. He would dip the shoulder, step over, and bang!” — Sid Lowe
“Ronaldo is the hardest attacker I’ve ever had to face. He was impossible to stop.”
— Alessandro Nesta

“The worst experience I ever had was playing against Ronaldo when we faced Internazionale in the 1998 UEFA Cup Final in Paris. He’s an incredible player. I have watched that game on video so many times since then, trying to work out what I did wrong. We lost 3-0 but I don’t think now it was my fault. Ronaldo was simply unstoppable. He is so quick he makes everyone else look as if they are standing still.”
–Alessandro Nesta

“What made Ronaldo different was his sheer physical strength. He is the best I have played with.”
— Luis Figo

“If we are talking about singular players, Ronaldo is one of the most singular ones. He can get no ball for the whole match and determine the match with one action of his.”
— Vicente del Bosque

“He hardly helps the defense of the team, he isolates himself sometimes, but he has a virtue that is priceless and that’s why he’s Ronaldo.”
— Vicente del Bosque

“Without hesitation, Ronaldo is the best player I ever played with. He had such an ease with the ball. He is number one. Every day I trained with him, I saw something different, something new, something beautiful. That’s what makes the difference between a very good player, and the exception, who, for me, is Ronaldo.”
— Zinedine Zidane

“He was the best of all time, The Phenomenon. Before defenders and goalkeepers could understand what he will do, he was already far away.”
— Zinedine Zidane

“In of technique Ronaldo is the best. Nobody is better than him.”
— Zinedine Zidane

Cristiano Ronaldo is a Legend however the most complete and ruthless finisher i have ever seen in my life has to be Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima also known as the Phenomenon. If not for the almost three years he spent injured at Inter Milan at the peak of his powers, he would have been the first player to win 5 Ballon Dors and World Best Player. Original Ronaldo also played in an era that had much better players. And secondly, there were much better defenders in original ronaldos era than now. Thats just my opinion though

As much as I love this, I need to ask. Is it that a christian is not supposed to be rich or what?

Christians can be rich but Pagans and Atheist can also be rich and in some cases richer than christians. I dont know how many billionaires in the forbes list are christians. However, the emphasis shouldnt be on earthly riches but heavenly rewards which is the the true prosperity. As op pointed out, its only eternal life that the devil cannot give. Earthly riches and the glory of this world can be gotten from the devil

adegeye38:

that true, real success is not in the number of houses you build or the Numbers of cars you buy, but the number of times the glory of God shines through you, the number of times you lead people to Christ, and in making heaven, that is real success

becoming a born again Christian is simple, renounce you old ways and accept Christ as your lord and saviour, Jesus said "as many that believes in me i have given them right to become sons of God.

making heaven is not difficult to someone who is born again, infact it is very easy, God has provided everything needed for a born again Christian to live a righteous, Himself, his son, his spirit and his word, that is all we need

Christianity does not exempt you from experiencing some Challenges of life, but it provides you ways to overcome them

It is is God plan for a Christian to prosper, and be blessed, as seen in Gods pronunciation of blessing in deut 28 on those who do his will, but for a Christian it goes beyond Physical prosperity.

Theoretically you are correct. Practically, the life of a true believer is filled with constant battles. Its never easy in the practical. I think the story of Ayo Babalola of CAC and the wife he married is a good example on how the devil can use different means to ensure one doesnt make heaven but i believe babalola conquered. The flesh is weak and i believe the devil constantly tries to use different tactics just to ensure one does not make heaven. I believe maybe one way or the other if GOD can reveal the number of people who made heaven last year, you go fear o. I heard one gist about someone who was in a bus on the lagos ibadan express way during one of these rccg holy ghost services. the man in the bus said emphatically that of all the people in the redemption camp that night over the age of 18, only two are candidates for heaven. whether that was true or not still makes one have cause for reflection.

All in All, I pray we dont miss our salvation at the end.

Actually no. Law school grading is very unusual. You are graded with you lowest grade, so;

5As-first class; 4As and 1B+ is a 2:1; 4As and 1B is a 2:2 and 4As and 1C is a .

Basically a 2:2 could be 5Bs and a could be 4As and 1C or 3As, 1B+ and 1C.

Thanks a lot for explaining this. It's clear now. Thanks

Out of 5891, only 240 could get a first class and a second class upper. Na wa o.

This indicates only 4 percent are good enough technically or is there something else I am missing ?

Seun front page please.

If the GMD got approvals from Buhari, then Kachukwu should just resign and move on. That would be a bold statement. Wont hold my breath though. This letter was written over a month ago and no public action yet. Maybe things are going on behind the scene but this is an outrage. The cabal will always win and this is one of the ways they can get money to fund their election campaigns next year by doing oil exploration in sokoto and the likes when schools and hospitals are starved of funds.

It was easy for them to arrest dasuki but it is clear that this government is also mopping up funds in a different manner to prepare for the election next year. I also hope now that this is in the public domain, the GMD will reply either in private or public.

Nigeria is still waiting on the wind of change. what APC offers is a mirage.

CAC ppl(including myself) be like "kuku kill me if you want me to stop praying in the name of Olorun Joseph Ayo Babalola, Olorun baba abiye, Olorun akande l'ede, Olorun 1930 etc"
God had covenant with these ppl which He tends to always release/renew whenever their names are been mentioned.

Major prophets, Minor Prophets in the bible and The apostles in the bible including Paul, all this people including the likes of David had a covenant with God. There's a reason why in the entire New testament Jesus only refers to the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob. That covenant with Abraham is like a seed we all tap into which is why God himself said he is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In New testament nothing like God of Moses, God of Noah, God of Elisha and so on. God also had a covenant with this people like he had with babalola of CAC. Babalola was just a container. Jesus and the holy spirit is the content . That being said , if your spirit is the holy spirit convinces you that praying through the God of babalola is correct then please go on. God bless you.

We dont do that in my church. but its not all that wrong as long as u re making reference to God almighty
If u believe it was God that called and annointed ur pastor and it was God that sent him to u to tell u wat he has in store for u, if u believe that God speaks to u through him, then its not wrong to remind God of those promises he made to u through the pastor. For example
Pst Oyedepo: If i serve a loving God, u will not lack and fall sick.
A winners chapel member who feels he is lacking or feeling sick can say: God of Oyedepo, i call on u, u promised i wont lack, i wont fall sick, come and deliver me now.

So it sort of raises the faith of the person praying

What if Oyedepo chooses something else as his GOD without the person praying knowing ? Why didnt people in the new testament pray thorugh the God of Paul, God of Peter, God of John to raise their faith ? The promises of God made through the pastor ? I think these pastors are like a glass cup. If you love the coffee you praise the content not the cup or mug. The holyspirit and Jesus are critical. The pastor is just a container . Focus on Jesus and the role of the holyspirit as the promises made if they are true are not from Oyedepo as you said but from the Spirit through Jesus.

It just like saying your tea is sweet because of the Cup you used to make the tea. Then you start praising or praying through the cup. Cup that can break anytime.

This is the dumbest analysis I have ever read on nairaland ....so if Biafra is not only SE states , then they would not let them go grin

It's such a pity
noblezone:

Did you listen to him directly?

He talked about arms to defend our selves from Jihardists Boko -Haram and herdsmen.

no be only Nnamdi, the Noblezone needs arms too.

On calling Nigeria a Zoo, I agree with you, Nnamdi erred.
Nigeria is nothing near to a zoo.

A zoo is organised , every animal has and maintain their boundaries.

If Nigeria is something close to zoo, Fulani herdsmen won't enter Enugu state and kill at will.

Nigeria is worse than a zoo.
Something like JUNGLE would do.

Bros , a beg leave this matter.

Let's address the issues.

How many states in the current Nigeria will make up the new biafra

What will happen to all the Nigerian assets from universities to hospitals and millitary barracks in the new biafra ? Should Nigeria forfeit all of these to the new biafra ?

Please you guys should answer these questions so that we can have a matured discussion.

I said let them go if it's just south east because the south south is more tricky. The benin empire for example has existed for over 500 years and it will be unfair for them to be a minority in biafra if we follow the 1967 arrangement. Also you will agree with me that the south south has different and distinct culture and history from the south east even though they have traded together for over 300 years. Thus merging south south with south east may be like the amalgamation of northern and southern Nigeria in 1914. However thats why I propose a vote to decide if the people of south south want biafra or not as a vote is better than a forced "amalgamation"So if it's just south east that wants biafra, it may create a smoother transition process.if the south south wants biafra then things like zoning and other factors will come up which may be managed or not . Time wiill tell

I await the answer to the questions.
vicade(m): 6:14pm On May 24, 2017
Honestly, I have no problem with the biafran movement. However people like nnamdi kanu have spoken about buying arms in public to fight Nigeria. That's a poor approach. Calling Nigeria zoo and all that. First of all, nnamdi should fight for a vote on how many states as it stands wants to leave Nigeria for biafra. If the oil rich south south states choose to leave Nigeria for biafra then we move on to step two. What happens to the federal government resources in biafra. This ranges from Nigerian universities to Nigerian barracks and Nigerian hospitals on the proposed biafran land. All this will be like a proposal. Things like currency to be used and all that will also be discussed.

As it stands, if buhari wakes up and says biafra should be independent as confirmed by the legislature, all these open items haven't been addressed. If you ask 100 ipob how many of the current 36 states make up biafra, most of them will refer to the 1967 coverage area while some say otther things. Biafra may be successful using the 1967 map but it will be like Nigeria. The ibos of the south east zone will probably be the new north while the other tribes in south south will be the new south. In summary,Nigeria should market one Nigeria to the oil rich south south and let's vote which state wants one Nigeria or biafra. I say if it's only south east states that wants biafra in a vote, LET THEM GO

Chronology of Corruption in Nigeria.

Courtesy of Africa Unchained
A platform for analysing and contributing to the issues and solutions raised by George Ayittey's latest book 'Africa Unchained'.

Corruption in Nigeria: A Historical Perspective (1947-2002)

Intellectual Property of Rina Okonkwo based on the work of George Ayittey, presented by Emeka Okafor.

The Genesis of corruption in Nigeria
When did corruption in Nigeria begin? In the words of a colonial government report of 1947, “The African’s background and outlook on public morality is very different from the present day Briton. The African in the public service seeks to further his own financial interest.” The colonial report concluded that only public opinion could deal with corruption. The problem was that there was no responsible public opinion to check corruption in Nigeria.1

From as early as 1947, commissions of inquiry were held to investigate cases of corruption. The purpose of the inquiries was to expose wrong -doing and to punish the culprits.

Today, we hear much of the rampant corruption at the local government level. As early as 1955, just seventeen months after the inception of Igbo-Etiti District Council in May 1954, the colonial government held an inquiry into the affairs of the Council. The inquiry judged that the “conduct of the Council’s affairs had become a public scandal.” The colonial officer who conducted the inquiry, FP Cobb, noted, “public indignation was widespread and strong.” 2 The public was outraged at the corrupt behaviour of their representatives.

The report on Igbo-Etiti District Council revealed that there was ‘systematic corruption” in the appointment and promotion of staff and in the awarding of contracts. Bribes of L80 to L100 were demanded for unnecessary appointments. The brother of the Secretary to the District Council was hired above a more qualified applicant. In one case, a man paid a L400 bribe to secure a post and was never refunded his money when he did not get the job.

Contractors routinely paid ten percent of the value of the contract as bribe. The contracts were not awarded to the lowest bidder or to the most experienced or competent persons. At the end of its first seventeen months of existence, the Igbo-Etiti District Council was L6000 in debt. There was great wasting of public money due to “gross dishonesty in handling council affairs.”3

The local government councils have continued to be notorious for corruption. Why do such grassroots organizations attract such widespread graft? The people are often not prepared to undertake public office. They have no training in the procedures and ethics of public service. They have minimal education. There is poor supervision of the affairs 9of the Local Government Councils. The history of corruption in local government councils can show no change for the better.

In 1956, the Foster-Sutton Tribunal investigated the Premier of the Eastern Region, Nnamdi Azikiwe for his involvement in the affairs of African Continental Bank (ACB). Under the code of conduct for ministers, a government officer was required to relinquish his holdings in private business when he assumed public office. The Foster-Sutton Tribunal felt that Zik did not severe his connections to the bank when he became a Minister. The Tribunal believed that Zik continued to use his influence to further the interests of ACB.

Zik, his family, and the Zik Group of Companies were the principal shareholders of the African Continental Bank. ACB loaned over L163, 000 to the Zik Group of Companies at low interest. The Zik group did not have to repay the loans until 1971. ACB was a distressed bank. The new registrar of banks in 1952 refused to grant ACB a license. Attempts to find partners for the bank in Britain failed because of the insolvency of the bank.
In the words of a colonial government official, “Were a UK minister to be involved in a series of transactions the result of which public funds were used to an otherwise shaky institution in which he was directly interested, he would be forced to leave public life.”4 Why did not the colonial government prosecute Zik for his failure to observe the code of conduct for government officers? The colonial correspondence revealed that the government ed the NCNC as the only party to embrace national unity. Without Zik, the NCNC would collapse. The national interest of the country demanded that Zik continue as leader of the party.5

The Governor of the Eastern Region Sir Clement Pleass further observed, “The exercise of public power for private profit is established in the East.” “The aim of the colonial government was not to establish a standard of honesty in public life. Only time and education can do that.” “A number of sensible people realized that Zik had done harm in the East in the last two years, but the mass of the people, ignorant and uneducated, voted him back to power.”6

When Zik called for a general election in 1957, as an alternative to reg in the face of the findings of the Foster-Sutton Tribunal, the people gave him their . The Economist observed that Nigerians had a “sunny and tolerant mentality” towards corruption.7 The colonial officer hoped that “Eventually sufficiently honest and enlightened people will be thrown up to rebuild the prosperity and good government of the region.”8

Obafemi Awolowo, the first premier of the Western Region, was found guilty of corruption by the Coker Commission in 1962.
In 1954, the Western Region Marketing Board had L6.2 million. By May 1962, it had to exist on overdrafts amounting to over L2.5 million. A loan of L6.7 million was made to the National Investment and Properties Co., Ltd. for building projects out of which only L500, 000 was ever re-paid. The Western Region Finance Corporation and the West Nigeria Development Corporation also received loans of millions of pounds, which were never re-paid. The Coker Commission found Awolowo responsible for the all the ills of the Western Region Marketing Board, and Awolowo “without a doubt has failed to adhere to the standards of conduct which are required for persons holding such a post.”9

The First Republic, with Zik as the President, was marked by widespread corruption. Government officials looted public funds with impunity. Federal Representative and Minister of Aviation, KO Mbadiwe, flaunted his wealth by building a palace in his hometown. When asked where he had gotten the money to build such a mansion, KO replied, ”From sources known and unknown.” Minister of Finance Chief FS Okotie- Eboh responded to charges of accumulation of wealth by government officers by quoting from the Bible, “To those that have, more shall be given. From those that do not have, shall be taken even the little they have.”10

Azikiwe did not surround himself with men of good character. Chinua Achebe maintained that the political thought of both Awolowo and Azikiwe was based on politics for material gain. Achebe quoted from the autobiographies of the two men to show that making money and living well were primary goals in life for both our nationalist leaders. “If we were a more discerning people, we should not have trusted them with our lives even in the fifties and sixties.”11

The popular acceptance and even iration for corruption was highlighted in Chinua Achebe’s novel about the politicians of the First Republic, A Man of the People. “The people had become even more cynical than their leaders and were apathetic into the bargain. “Let them eat,’ was the people’s opinion . . . It may be your turn to eat tomorrow.” 12

The military coup of January 15, 1966 was a direct response to the corruption of the First Republic. The popular for the coup showed that people rejected corruption. Despite the brutality of killings of First Republic politicians, there was widespread rejoicing in the country for the acts. The assassinations of the Minister of Finance Chief FS Okotie-Eboh, who was notorious for flaunting his ill-gotten wealth, Premier of the Western Region, Samuel Akintola, nicknamed “rigging” and Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto, the Premier of the Northern Region, “whose wardrobe was the most elaborate in the world,” were applauded.13 The coup eliminated “the old brigade of politicians who were destitute of public spirit.” 14

The Ironsi government instituted a series of commissions of inquiry into affairs of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, the Electricity Corporation of Nigeria, Nigeria Airways, and the Nigeria Ports Authority. The report on the Ports Authority revealed that a number of ministers, including Okotie-Eboh, Ribadu, and R.Njoku had formed companies and used their influence to secure contracts.15 In Nigeria Airways, the minister, K. O. Mbadiwe had interfered with award of contracts to a company not ed in the of companies. K.O. had gone against the board to send “Operation Fantastic,” the maiden flight of Nigeria Airways to New York. Friends and relations of the minister travelled free to New York. Many stayed on in the United States. Chief Dafe, the chairman of the board, was found guilty of hiring many unnecessary party workers in the airline. “Chief Dafe did not know the difference between Nigeria Airways and the party headquarters of the NCNC.” 16

Dr. Ikejiani, Chairman of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, was found guilty of misallocation of funds and disregarding the Board and recognized procedures of the NRC. When Ikejiani became the Chairman, he was in debt. Ikejiani left the NRC with a fleet of cars and buildings. The building of the Railway medical centre, which was estimated cost L75, 000, was inflated to L440, 000. The inquiry thought Ikejiani had diverted railway funds to build his private hospital. The architect for the medical center designed a building for Ikejiani in Lagos free of charge. The recommended that Ikejiani never again hold public office. 17

The zeal to punish the wrong doers of the First Republic died with the Gowon coup of July 1966. The politicians in detention were freed. Corruption increased. “Youths knew no other life than corruption.” “One could steal if he shared with those in the right places.”18

The coup of 1975 was an attempt to end corruption. Murtala Mohammed began by declaring his assets and asking all government officials to follow his example. Murtala instituted a series of probes of past leaders. The Federal Assets Investigation of 1975 found ten of the twelve state governors in the Gowon regime guilty of corruption.
One of the exonerated military governors, Rotimi, was later appointed to head a commission of inquiry in 2000. The guilty persons were dismissed with ignominy and forced to give up property in excess of earnings.

The Belgore Inquiry investigated the “Cement Armada.” The Gowon government had imported sixteen million metric tons of cement at a cost of N557 million. Millions of Naira was lost in demurrage charges, as the cement rotted in the seas outside of Lagos. The ports were too congested to enable ships off-load their cargoes. The inquiry noted that the Ministry of Defence needed only 2.9 million tons of cement at a cost of N52million. The orders were inflated for private profit at great cost to the government.19

State governments held similar commissions of inquiry. Corrupt officials were dismissed with immediate effect and asked to refund the money they had stolen. Murtala was assassinated after only two hundred days in office. The Obasanjo regime did not show the same zeal in its prosecution of wrongdoers.

The Second Republic, under President Shehu Shagari, saw a resurgence of corruption. Shagari was ineffective in stopping the looting of public funds by the democratically elected officials. On December 31st, 1983, General Buhari led a popular coup with the aim of halting corruption. Buhari arrested the state governors and commissioners and brought them before tribunals of inquiry. All s of politicians were frozen.

In less than two years, Babangida replaced the reformist Buhari regime. The next fourteen years saw no serious attempt to stop corruption. Leaders found guilty in tribunals under Mohammed and Buhari found their way back to public life and recovered seized property. Wole Soyinka observed that for Abacha to launch a war against corruption was a “huge joke.”

The Third Republic has instituted numerous commissions of inquiry. The Oputa and the Akanbi Commission have investigated corruption. Yet all the commissions of inquiry and reports have not stopped corruption. The Transparency Index rated Nigeria the number two corrupt country in the world in 2001.

An historical look at corruption in Nigeria demonstrates that rhetoric against corruption does not end corruption. All the inspiring words of our leaders and journalists have not changed anyone. We have heard the most eloquent appeals and strongest language castigating wrongdoers to no avail. Azikiwe and Shagari were two excellent writers who did not act to stop corruption of their party and colleagues.

From our survey of corruption in Nigeria, it would appear that change in Nigeria must come from the grass roots and not from the leaders. The British realized, as far back as 1947, that an educated, enlightened citizenry was the key to stopping corruption. Government could not legislate an end to corruption. Punishment of wrongdoers, while necessary, was not sufficient to stop corruption.

In his comparison of corruption in Nigeria and Britain, Ronald Wraith pointed to the need for education in good character and the importance of diffusion of wealth, power, and education in the society. There was need to build a tradition of disinterested public service. In Britain, responsible government began with the emergence of people who entered government service after they had amassed substantial wealth. They ed government, not to increase their fortunes, but to contribute to the country. When the people of Nigeria reject corruption, they will demand and receive good behavior from their leaders.

Na today. Charles Ponzi did it almost a century ago. When you tell people they say its a business risk but business risk and sheer greed are two different things. I have colleagues who lost millions to MMM. I warned them severely about the dangers of Ponzi Scams but i was tagged a bad belle. Even after MMM crashed another set of colleagues have lost money to the likes of twinkas and loopers club. I am not sympathetic and i openly tell them I TOLD YOU SO. Money doubling activities kills creativity and is just about extreme greed. One of my colleagues has lost almost a million naira to one of these ponzi scams. He doesnt even have money to fuel his car anymore but i am so sure that when he recieves his salary this month he will still go ahead and look for the latest ponzi scam as the money doubler he is. It is just sad but what can be done when the magas are readily avalaible.

Live band and clothing seems like Lagos Nightllife back in the 70s/80s. If you dont understand yoruba, Apologies. The songs by the Live band are yoruba classics and the other songs are hailings done in normal yoruba parties. KWAM1 is a classic example of such hailings.Every tribe in Nigeria has its usefulness but when it comes to music and partying, na BBY(Big Brother Yoruba )

The funny thing about all these Niger Delta agitators is that they all know the very few people who have benefitted and become immensely wealthy off their common wealth. Some of these people live in their communtiy such as all the ex militants from Asari Dokubo to Tompolo. Then you have others like Ayiri who is a billionaire with no valid source of living to validate his billionaire status. The last batch of thieves are the so called Niger delta elders such as Edwin Clark and youths such as Moses Siasia who rape their communities by collecting billions from multinationals and successive governments at all levels and feed their people crumbs. They make money by illegal means then start building hotels and other stuff to cover up their illegal wealth. All the people in Niger Delta know this especially in Delta and Bayelsa states. But they wont face these crooks but would rather face the Government and say they are agitated. Its just tragic.

If a Government is serious, Ayiri and all these Niger Delta Overnight Billionaires should be in Jail. The infamous Al Capone was sent to prison not because they caught him committing a crime but they imprisoned him cos he didnt pay tax on some of his earnings they could prove he earned. That was America over 50 years ago. Only GOD in heaven can deliver Nigeria.

Shout out to Ambode,The President of the Federal Republic of Lagos.

Shout out to Asiwaju Tinubu who set the foundation and selected Fashola and Ambode to continue his hallmarks.

All three of them na thief o but they are working thieves.F

If you look at Lagos since 1999 ,What has FG done ?

If you knew Ikorodu in 1999 which is where i have lived since 1998 and you know Ikorodu today 2017, you will know Lagos is working.

I also celebrate every ethnic group that contributes to the greatness of Lagos.

If you go to the Ikorodu version of states like Akwa Ibom and Delta and Bayelsa, there is zero development there o.

Finally Special shout out to Commissioner of works and Infrastructure,Ganiyu Johnson. The man sabi die. What Lagos is doing at Ojodu Berger and what they did to round abouts in Lekki, Barricades in Oworo and Ojota and the Alapere Extra lane among many other things just shows how little solutions can improve traffic flow. Respect to commissioner of the year;Ganiyu Johnson

It amazing how these english guys can analyse matches and stuff yet they cant seem to get a coaching position in any team across the 6 tiers of english football. Reminds me of Food Critics who are experts at doing food reviews but cannot cook to save their lives.

All these english pundits are all talk. Shearer has failed as a coach with newcastle and so has neville too with valencia. I am sure if townsend tries to he will fail but he is a good analyst/critic but may not be a good coach/manager/cook.

In other news, David Luiz is the g of the season and Arsenal wont loose today

I am tired. I will not be voting for Buhari in 2019. I campaigned for him online and offline and i am disappointed. These billions and the npower billions and aso rock budget billions and so many other billions can be spent on much more serious things. I am not in government but the hardship is real. I believe Government should mainly focus on Education,Security,Health and Food Security. To get these four things in Nigeria is now elitist.Yet all we hear is billions to revive the economy.

My poeple dont be shocked if by the end of the year they tell you GDP has improved and IMF Declares the recession over yet you are spending even more money on Cooking Gas,Indomie,Pure water, Gala and the likes. If the price of indomie and gas doesnt go back to the price it was prior to recession or my earnings dont improve to curb the inflation, then how can man survive ? However watch out, all these billions is a setup for December so that they will say recession is over when hardship will be rife and only GOD knows what dollar would be then.

As for we youths, These old guard cant help us. If you are young start processing Canada and relocate. If you can, give birth to your children in the USA so they can get citizenship. Nigeria is a dead country. Even if you have money your life is not secure which is sad because the first mandate of Government is security of life and property.

If you ask Fashola how many MW is needed for nigeria to be an industrial nation i am sure he wont know. Even power wont solve our problem. There is light in America, yet so many stuff are made in mexico and even iphone is assembled in China not america. Its just sad. All sectors in this istration is failing. I have great pity for the youths and the next generation.

There is a thin line between sheer greed and business risk. So many people laughed in my face when i said its a ponzi scam fueled by greed. I pray people dont take this P but i told you so. Charles Ponzi is the father of this kind of scams.

I saw the scam from day one when the guiders and the are not transparent enough and will definitely GH without PH but people covered that by saying MMM doesnt have central and all that gibberish. This is the first phase. MMM will survive till easter when the final punishment on the greedy will occur. Imagine making 3.6 Million profit on 1 million naira annually. If that is not greed i dont know what it is

Patient is what you need bros ... Just little patient could release your money.. MMM cannot go away with ordinary digit in your PO. And mind you MMM is not a bank or have any central to keep your money. when you MMM to pay money out, you did not pay to MMM . You are either peered with a boy or girl name not MMM . So why the panic ? Wait and let the system get you someone to pay you back. That is the system . Hand helping hand .

That is the big misconception. Let us assume i am the of MMM, What stops me from recieving help in the tune of millions of Naira without providing help to anybody ? That is where the scam lies my dear friend. MMM may not have a central but this so called guiders and s and their friends and family helpers probably have multiple s that receive help to the tune of millions without evidence that the have or will provide help. So dont be fooled that MMM has no central . The system is not transparent as you think and that is where the scam lies. Get your money out and please please dont go back.

In summary, Public universities are better because they are more difficult on one hand and they have better facilities/instructors on the other hand.

There are two kinds of students: Good ones and not so good ones. Both categories exist in public and private universities. However most private universities are new. Babcock was one of the first licensed private universites in Nigeria and graduated its first set in 2003. Thats 13 years ago.12 years experience if you deduct NYSC. Give it time. We will judge by products in the next 8 years or so. Meanwhile since you mentioned Babcock, let me educate you. Babcock has signed up with New Horizons and if you are in the Computer department you are encouraged to take professional exams as a requirement. If you Comptia Exams for example, it is global. whether you are in Nigeria or USA. Babcock has also partnered with ICAN to align their ing program with that of ICAN. Babcocks MBA is under AACSB accreditation which no public university in Nigeria has. Even LBS just got theirs last month compared to schools such as UCT Business school in south africa that have triple MBA accrediation(EQUIUS,AMBA and AACSB). Some Babcock Graduates at the age of 22 have Bsc, Msc, Nysc and at least one professional qualification; education is fast and there is no strike at all. April By Kunbi is a babcock product. These two guys in the link below are babcock products.

http://pulse.ng/tech/paystack-fintech-firm-secures-1-3-million-dollars-in-seed-funding-id5914952.html

Go to KPMG,Interswitch,Maionone,PWC etc, its like a babcock reunion in those places even though babcocks annual graduate volume is like one tenth of that like schools such as UNILAG.Even HR Executives are now giving advantage to private uni graduates. If u dont know, ask around.

I can down grade all public unis in Nigeria from now till kingdom come. Mention one MBA Program in any public university in Nigeria that makes any sense. Thanks to Lagos Business School who are the leading light and they are private.

All in All, Education is meant to be relevant and not difficult. Whats the point of celebrating as is common in public unis that no one has had first class in a department for decades and they see that as excellence because it is difficult ? Whereas people who write the text books in those courses overseas have people graduating first class every year in their own department.
