The heart of man is full of wickedness. The hardships under Tinubu government is unbearable

An elderly woman participating in the nationwide #EndHunger protests in Sango, Ogun, has criticised President Bola Tinubu for plunging millions of Nigerians into hardship and poverty, praying for deliverance.

“I came from Owode to the protest. Is it acceptable for we elderly to be begging for alms to survive? We beg for alms to survive. I and my children are starving,” the woman lamented in a viral video recorded at the protest ground.

The woman decried unemployment among youths and bad roads.

Our children don’t have jobs. Men and woman in Sango are unemployed. No jobs. All the roads are bad. (God) Deliver us from this government,” she stated. “Deliver us from Tinubu. What he promised to do are not what he is doing. He is suffering us. Deliver us from his government. Rice is unaffordable. Garri is unaffordable.”

Meanwhile, Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka has warned Mr Tinubu of a potential revolution over his security forces’ high-handedness.

“The serving of bullets where bread is pleaded is ominous retrogression, and we know what that eventually proves—a prelude to far more desperate upheavals, not excluding revolutions,” Mr Soyinka warned.

The president’s longtime ally added, “My primary concern, quite predictably, is the continuing deterioration of the state’s seizure of protest management, an area in which the presidential address fell conspicuously short.

“Such short-changing of civic deserving, regrettably, goes to arm the security forces in the exercise of impunity and condemns the nation to a seemingly unbreakable cycle of resentment and reprisals.

“Live bullets as state response to civic protest—that becomes the core issue. Even tear gas remains questionable in most circumstances, certainly an abuse in situations of clearly peaceful protest. Hunger marches constitute a universal SOS, not peculiar to the Nigerian nation.”

No no. Buhari didn't empower this guy o.....he was a truck driver once, then entered smuggling, bought shares in Oando ..big shares, crumbled Nigeria textile industry by going to China in the nineties to doctored Nigeria textiles styles and started bringing them in at a cheaper price....he and his associates brought down the thriving textiles industry of Nigeria till now. He is an expert in smuggling of petroleum and other commodities to neighbouring countries especially Chad, Niger, Benin republic etc.....probably, he just got born again and decided to give back to Nigeria as Dangote is doing beside, he's in his late sixties and getting older........Some might praise him anyway but he's still better than some people that takes from Nigeria and give it away to a foreign country.. A thief is still a thief even after getting born again....

hmm 🤔. He got all his money from smuggling and corruption. Nawaoooo 🐵🐵🐵

Bangladesh's prime minister has resigned, following weeks of deadly protests in the country.

Sheikh Hasina and her sister have taken a military helicopter to India, according to the country's leading national paper.

They are taking "safe shelter" away from her official residence, the news agency Reuters reports.

At least 95 people, including at least 14 police officers, died in clashes in the capital on Sunday, according to local news, while hundreds more were injured.

At least six people were reportedly killed in clashes between police and protesters in the Jatrabari and Dhaka Medical College areas on Monday.

The demonstrations began with students seeking to end a quota system for government jobs, but clashes with police and pro-government activists escalated into violence that left more than 200 dead last month.

That triggered more protests demanding ability from the government, which have grown into calls for Ms Hasina, who has been leading the country since 2009, to step down.

Michael ‘Lenin’ Adaramoye, a mobiliser of the #EndHunger protests in Abuja, has been reportedly arrested in the early hours of Monday by the State Security Service.

Mr Adaramoye, who serves as the national coordinator of the Youth Rights Campaign, was reported around 2:00 a.m., according to Omoyele Sowore, a politician and an activist.

SSS spokesperson Peter Afunanya did not immediately return comments to confirm or deny the arrest.

Mr Adaramoye had on Sunday excoriated President Bola Tinubu’s broadcast for encouraging police brutality against peaceful protesters and “violence and repressions are just attempts to silence and control us, and the propaganda cannot sway or fool us.”

He implied that the president’s address was belated.

“We wish to express our sadness and deep disappointment at the latest broadcast by President Tinubu, which is his first address to the nation on the #EndBadGovernance protests, after over three weeks since Nigerians started mobilising to take to the streets and after scores of dead protesters and assaulted journalists from the first three days of the protests,” Mr Adaramoye said at a presser on Sunday.

Mr Adaramoye added, “Many had requested that the president should just address the nation when the protest was being mobilised and when it started to escalate, but most of us did not know that the president would only justify state violence on protesters and journalists while dismissing the demands of the protesters whenever he decides to speak.

“This, plus the failed attempt to co-opt the progressive and radical language of the protests, only shows how much President Tinubu is out of touch with the masses.“

Mr Adaramoye, in his statement, urged Nigerians “to come out in large numbers to continue these protests on Monday until our demands are met,” asserting that the government’s “two-pronged approach of violence and propaganda has failed.

Gilbert Chagoury is the same man he awarded 15 Trillion Naira contract to without thinking twice. He owns the construction company that is supposed to construction the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway. The man "allegedly" used to be a bag man for Abacha until he died. He then sought for the next most corrupt individual after Abacha to latch unto, and since then, him and Tinubu have become inseparable. The coastal highway will be their biggest cashout.
the name of his company is “Hitech Construction company “. One of the company in Lagos State that handles road construction in Lagos State
