I don't have any serious technical expertise in building but am looking at running a construction company whose specialty will be property development.
I need you my respectable and very knowledgeable nairalanders in this section of the forum to please educate and advice me particularly on what professionals I can't do without.
This is pertinent since at the onset, I plan to keep my operational costs as low as possible hence I can't go ahead to hire an architech, civil engineer, quantity surveyor, lawyer, ant, etc all at once.

I had a very heated argument with a beloved friend who doubles as my wife over Ese Walter and her ex-pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo's saga.
On the grand assumption that the story as reported by Ese Walter is true, here are my submissions:
1.Both of them being christians and consenting adults erred grossly in putting themselves in a situation where they could not resist the urge of the flesh to sin against God and their bodies. In this they both are in the same boat.
2. I hold the pastor to a higher standard of ability considering that he is not just a pastor but Ese's revered pastor and also that he is married. If he could descend that low, what would we expect from his junior pastors and church ? This is where they begin to differ.
3. Even though what they did was in the past, it is evident that what happened was not some minor misdemeanor between just the two of them but a sin against God, against the pastor's wife, against the church and against their own bodies thus creating a footstool for the devil whom the scriptures describes as the acc of the brethren to operate. Hence the least any christian with a living conscience would have done after securing God's forgiveness was to come clean with their spouse, the church and probably the other person.
This is where I find the light and day difference between the two of them. One person has a conscience that is alive, the others conscience is seared and it is to this end that I commend Ese Walter not for her mistakes but for the steps she took in correcting the mistakes of her past. For Ese, I can only hope JESUS has become lord indeed and lord of all.
On the other hand, I call on the pastor not to further complicate his life by means of cover-ups. Always that that was what led David to murder Uraiah after he slept with his wife Bethsheba. Tell the truth and seek your wife's and the church's forgiveness. Trust me, If you handle this well, five years down the line, you will look back and thank God.

I can't claim 1st hand info but someone made me believe it is easier to get a corporate business loan from Diamond bank than from others.
Also a few big businesses I know route most of thier payments through Diamond bank which makes me view them as corporation oriented.
Lastly, the few times I have used thier services, I have found thier staff to be civil and polite. I can't say that about most other banks including my own bankers.

To that extent, faith and reason are incompatible.

From reading Aristotle's writings as quoted, it is pretty obvious he like the people of Athens concerning whom paul the apostle wrote;

It is safe to infer that he sure believed in God even though he did not know him.

1. Aristotle(384-322BC). His writings cover
many subjects, including
physics , metaphysics,
poetry , theater , music,

Aristotle believed that all movement
depends on there being a prime mover. For
Aristotle, movement meant more than
something travelling from A to B.
Movement also included change,

7. Louis Pasteur (Dec. 27, 1822-Sept. 28,
1895) was a French chemist and
microbiologist. He is most famous for
inventing the process that keeps milk

created the first rabies, anthrax and
chicken cholera vaccines, was a
founder of bacteriology and made

9. Lord Kelvin
1824-1907 (William Thomson) British
physicist; helped lay the foundations
of thermodynamics.
First and second laws of

science is studied, the further does it
take us from anything comparable to
atheism."
Do not be afraid to be free thinkers. If
you think strongly enough, you will be
forced by science to the belief in God.
8. C.F.Gauss
One of the greatest mathematicians of
all time. Contributed significantly to
pure mathematic and made practical
applications of importance for 20th-
century astronomy, geodesy, and
electromagnetism. He had these to say:

mathematics, for example touching
ethics, or our relation to God, or
concerning our destiny and our

10. Blaise Pascal :
1623-1662 French mathematician &
physicist. Father of the mathematical
theory of probability and
combinatorial analysis and provided
the essential link between the
mechanics of fluids and the
mechanics of rigid bodies. He has these to say; "There is a God-shaped vacuum in every heart" " We know the truth not only through
our reason but also through our
heart. … For knowledge of first
principles, like space, time, motion,
number, is as solid as any derived
through reason, and it is on such
knowledge, coming from the heart
and instinct, that reason has to
depend and base all its argument. … It
is just as pointless and absurd for
reason to demand proof of first
principles from the heart before
agreeing to accept them as it would
be absurd for the heart to demand an
intuition of all the propositions
demonstrated by reason before
agreeing to accept them. Our inability
must therefore serve only to humble
reason, which would like to be the
judge of everything, but not to confute
our certainty. As if reason were the
only way we could learn! (Pensees , p

For a religion to be true it must have
known our nature; it must have
