Nice pics - I wish others will do the same and post only pictures they took and  not any old pictures they found on the net. This was supposed to be an interesting thread with comments and suggestions that will benefit photo enthusiasts and help us in taking better photos.

Here are more of mine:
1. I took this at my friend's wedding in Seattle, Washington in June (no retouching on this one, just a great Cannon lens)
2. My attempt at close-up photography
3. Some plant in my yard

nice close-ups on those last 2 pics.  i suspect you took them in macro mode or did you use macro lens? 

just curious.  at any rate, very impressive depth of field. 

i took this one using landscape mode with no flash when i was testing the camera.

imho, win 7 is all what vista should have been and many more.

however, not trying to be a cynic here but what if, just what if this partner of yours actually had the whole thing setup.

from your response thus far, it seems to me you weren't physically present during the alleged carjack.

so what's stopping him from cooking up a story like that?

not saying  your partner is responsible though but it's an angle you might want to look into.

thnx for your post.  i've come to the realization that no matter what you say or any pointers that you reference, people are still going to believe what they want to believe.

even if you point out what's going on around them, the ones that will listen will listen but unfortunately the majority will choose to buy into the notion of the "conspiracy theorists" label. 

i mentioned illuminati in my previous post but as usual, the brainwashed folks (courtesy of the media) will always dismiss it as false. 

hopefully, a few people will take the time and do their own research and maybe, just maybe they'll start paying attention to what's really going on.  Peace!

Thank you my brother, I explained this in my third and fourth previous post that they were addressing National Security concerns using internet capability. They all get half baked stories sold to them through FOX news and its media conglomerate, but its ok for people to believe what they want.

like CNN or MSNBC is any better? by the way, you'd be surprised to know who actually owns and controls the media. 

then again, that'll probably be a conspiracy theory to you as usual.  Peace!

@ mr.official, it's pretty easy to embed your youtube video.  here's how:

1. at the site, copy the "embed" code (not the url code)

2. tab back to NL (almost nearly all browsers now have the tabbed browsing feature, thanks to FF) and click on the flash button (first button under the bold button

3. insert the code in between the open and closed "flash" tag and delete everything before the "http" and everything after the complete url:

after reading through most of the responses pertaining this subject, i've come to the conclusion that we as a people have really been brainwashed and inattentive to what's really going on in this planet called earth.

@no2atheism, i've read most of post, which i usually find interesting and knowing you're a professed christian, i am amazed at your objectivity. 

everything you referenced about the NWO as much as people want to dismiss it and call it a conspiracy theory, i have no doubt in mind that it's true.

i'm sure you're probably aware of the illuminati but i won't go into that cause i don't want to derail the thread. 

@ all, bottom line is people, these things are are not going to happen overnight but they are slowly happening and the only way to know that is to pay attention.

these people know how to control the human populace psychologically and they have succeeded thus far in distracting the majority of us worldwide.

how have they succeeded? well, it's quite simple, ask yourselves why do you think there are so many "entertainment" programs on tvs i.e. American Idol,
Dancing with the stars, Xfactors and so (all these depends on the continent you reside though).

all these were purposely designed to distract people from paying attention to what's really going on globally.

do you all really think all these GA summits these "heads of states" attend are really about resolving any global crisis?  think again! if there's any hoax, that right there is the hoax cause what they are actually doing behind closed doors at those summits (actually, after the dud televised ones) is totally different.

Obama's presidency is just an experiment to see how people would react to a close to black man (even though some people will never accept the fact that he's equally as black as he's white) being the leader of the most powerful nation on earth.  newsflash: Obama was never elected; he was already selected as the next president way before the "election." 

And yes, the the story was true and not a hoax when it came out back in April about CyberSecurity Act of 2009.

I would just be harmlessly referring to Okoro as "the 16 year old Stanley Okoro" everytime I comment on him.  grin

I would also arrange to interview him and ask him harmless questions like "how does it feel achieving so much at the age of 16" with the camera in his bleeping face. Ask him whether his classmates in school would be proud of him and who was his best friend in school and if he wants to give a shout out to him on air.  grin

Harmless questions but being mentioned has a lot of emphasis.
