Obviously, if you're talking appearance wise.
Better customisations.
Memory extension ( I feel it's useless).
I can't really say for battery life tho, the big battery has always been doing its job.

Definitely few minor bugs here and there, but nothing you can't leave without.

The guy who advised him to get a 4G+ phone is being reasonable.
5G isn't a feature that can be rolled out like any feature update, it requires facilities to be set up and managed at different places for its deployment.
Setting up these facilities takes time and yes years.
Unlike the 4G tower, 5G has a very high frequency but low wavelength, which mean we would need 100 of small towers set-up in a community where 15-20 4G towers could have catered for.
All these things take years to setup, unless the OP wants a phone that would stay that long, it's unreasonable of him forcing himself to get a 5G phone.

Easy to fix.

You need to turn on Metered Connection:

Click on the Network you're connected to on your PC.

Click on 'Properties'

Then look for 'Metered Connection' and turn it on
