So recently I entered university and I don't really have much knowledge on how to cook , i was in boarding school so i don't cook what I eat ,due to this I never really got the chance to cook only observed where they cooked.
I asked a roommate that i was unsure of how to cook beans and needed little help ,But to my surprise I was met with a stiff "so you don't know how to cook beans" I then told him that i don't want to make mistakes so as to cook it well but still he went on saying how I can't cook ,how my parents didn't try at all at this age i don't know how to vook , At that moment i just left.
So I asked another roommate and how was happy to help ,when i told him he just smiled and said okay no problem.
My question is that why some people do this once you tell them they aren't aware of something or they don't know how to do some certain things ,even if it obvious or popular. They are somethings people ask me of things that are popular or should be known but I don't take it as a big deal I just tell he/she what I know about it and move on .

While I was was still working as an intern at an engineering firm back in 2021, some year 3 students came for their IT. One of the females was assigned under me, and we worked closely. We became very close and subsequently became intimate. She wanted a relationship, but I objected, giving her reasons.

We got out to chicken republic close by and purchased food for both of us, with drinks.
We got back to the room. We both ate. She went to have a shower, came back and wore a seductive night wear. I went to the shower too, ed her in bed.
Immediately, she became something else. Told me she wanted to sleep because she was tired.
I thought it was a joke. I let her rest for a while, but this babe went fully asleep.
I woke her up and kinda initiated some moves, she legit resisted me. Didn't allow me to touch her. I was frustrated but kept myself under control.
She didn't let me kiss her, touch her or even talked to her. In fact she asked me not to disturb her.
I just gave up, slept and decided not to bother her.

I am caught in a dilemma currently. I am currently working for a top telecom agency as a sales agent. The job is extremely demanding (monday-sunday). Although the salary is not much, I have been able to sustain my family with it because of some tips I get there.
