But to be fair this period I don’t advise anybody to use form A because it takes time unless you are not in a haste o .mine took so long that I had to defer semester severally .but if you are not in a haste or if you don’t have a deadline to make payment that is close then you can go ahead and use it

I don't think you need any biometric letter to stamp your port, a port request letter is what you need to submit alongside your port. Thanks

My port expires in in July, I got a port request yesterday. Please does the expiration date on my port matter? It’s not possible for me to get my port renewed in 30days from now.

One more question is if luckily I get my new LOA from school for September 2023 intake (let's say I got the new LOA nextweek)and I updated the IRCC.. if I intend to take my PPR and port documents to embassy that same nextweek, Will they issue the Visa as at the date for September 2023 or will they still issue it as the last date of my expired ission letter? I just need a clearance about this. I just want to be very careful before deciding.

The visa issue will be the duration of your port that's till may 2024 or the length of your program which ever comes first in this case.

you can notify IRCC with your new LOA when you receive it, it does not affect your submission for stamping. Check the letter sent notifying your of your PPR for the list of documents you need to submit with your port.

Can anybody please answer this question. What if one receive port request for stamping,and his LOA has expired,even though the school hasn't sent the new LOA, hope it won't cause any problem at the embassy?

Note that if you haven’t paid your tuition make sure you have the funds with you before coming to canada or pay before coming. I went to pickup someone at the airport who deferred ission till May 2023 hasn’t paid tuition but came in to canada this week, the visa officers only stamp him 3 months visa and told him to come back once he has paid his full tuition fee.


Guys be ready or else you will be stranded if you don’t have cash. Also it’s -9 degrees today the snow and ice on the road is almost 5 ft height. If you have gotten your visa prioritize buying wool winter jackets and not the thin jackets . Jackets here cost from 60 cad to as high as 900 cad in Toronto .

What of if someone school resumes by September 2023 and you have just been given visa..is it advisable to travel to canada now or still wait for some months before travelling there? ..
And if you decided to go now,will you be eligible to work before your school resumes in that September?

Good morning wonderful people in the house,I want your suggestions to my own case. For a school who dosent make it compulsory for you to pay for your school fees upfront,and my school fees is 16,160 for a year for (masters degree). Is 11.4 Million naira enough for both tution deposit and living expenses.
And can 2 plot of land which is worth 1.2 Million naira enough as a Personal asset?
I am a self sponsor though.
Anybody should please make a suggestion.
