Most of u saying the car is expensive , I guess you have not bought a car before or you are used to Nigerian used cars. Manual or automatic, the cost of clearing that car alone is 250k, I don't know how much he bought it + shipping.. if you don't have money while not keep quiet rather than tarnishing someone business. I don't know the owner but 2004 @ 1 M is not bad.

If "ONLY" Nelson Mandela was a Nigerian?? I am beginning to think South African's are not so creative? Had Madela been Nigerian....hmm 1. The corpse will stay in the morgue for 1 year in the morgue to enabble government prepare for "befitting" burial. 2. Government will set up burial planning committee with power to award contracts to construct new roads leading to Mandela's home town, construction of new airport, importation of bullet proof hearse that will carry the corpse, construction of new stadium for burial reception, new presidential jet, etc., 3. The national Assembly will new budget to accommodate burial expenses. 4. There will be a national aso ebi (uniform) imported from Holland, which will be made compulsory for every Nigerian to buy, sew and wear. 5. During the 1 year of mourning, Governors, traditional rulers, students bodies will struggle to book for appointments to visit and pay condolence to Mr President. 6. New slangs will emerge, for instance yoruba greetings will start, e ku Madiba o, eku iku Mandela! 7. Our networks will produce new caller tunes...."to hear Madela's last breath, press 1, to hear the last word he spoke, press 2,", etc. 8. New products will emerge, egg...Madiba zobo drink, Madiba pure water, Madiba magic soap/cream. 9. Our musicians ![]() 10. New born babies will be named after him. 11. Pastors will start seeing vision of how Mandela met them and sent a message to the world through them!!! ALL IN A WAY TO EXTORT MONEY, MAKE NAME AND BE STUPID RELEVANT!!!!! |

I don't know some people are finding it difficult to accept defeat, so APC people think they can win Anambra, that's a big lie, am not ing any party, but if that election should be done in the moon 100 times, Ngige under APC cannot win even 1. They only thing they should do is to go to court of which even if is cancelled, he will never win. APC should have given somebody like soludo their ticket, that's the only way they could have won. Ngige is gradually dieing politically..is not a must that he will be governor.

Everybody is blaming the government for corruption in the system, how far have we done in our various capacities to enforce a working system? in a sane society, should a student be looking for his file/her in exams and records? what does it take to keep a proper file management? I cant really get, the system is a complete mess, why should a student pay such amount of money for transcript with will only cost #50 postage stamp after paying all your school fees upon graduation? Is really horrible, I ed a day i visited the school i intend going, all i did was to cue my name in the system, i waited for my name to be called which only took less than 5 minutes before i went and met with a guidance Councillor, She told me that they are only waiting for my evaluation, other than that every other things was OK. It was an excited experience, I ask myself, when will Nigeria be like this? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You will not know what other people are ing through unless you become a victim. I really do not know how to express myself and the trauma i am facing right now simply because i attended the God forsaken and rotten institution called Imo State University. I ed people calling the school Imo stress university, one will assume that the stress will be a thing of the past after graduation. But with this school, your stress continues unless you choose to end your education with just the first degree from them. I got a visa to travel to united states, fortunately and unfortunately, I stopped my 3 months program and went to US. When I got here, I had to work a little bit and settled down before deciding going back to school, I made a good score in my GRE and applied for my Msc program in economics. Part of the requirements is evaluating my result through WES. I applied for WES evaluation and also applied for my transcripts from Imo State University and Nnamdi Azikwe University, I paid #30,000 for Imo State and #10,000 for Nnamdi Azikwe, not without given out some tips to a lady that works in IMSU exam and records, to expedite the process because i cant afford wasting another year in US without getting this Msc done. It took only but two weeks for Nnamdi Azikiwe to forward theirs without any tip. This is the second month I haven't heard from WES with regard to Imsu, I sent my brother to the school to if they have actually done the transcript, to my greatest surprised I was told that my file cannot be found in the exams and records. This same transcript was sent to Nnamdi azikiwe before my previous ission, I have my original copies of both my statement of result and certificate and the duplicate copy of the transcript which i managed to get from Nnamdi Azikiwe. I have called some people i know working in the school, all they were telling me is; oh! since the new VC, everything is scattered, infact is that is how the system is ohh and bla bla bla...men, is horrible! I don`t actually know how to do this because is likely i may not get the spring ission because of the evaluation. Please guys i really need your suggestions and how to tackle this menace in Imo State University. I will never advice anybody to go to that school for any reason.

Yet we are the giant of Africa, where only the few political class smile at the expenses of the masses. Imagine the unborn kids paying for the rotten of our leaders, God will not allow it to happen. All these people who are mortgaging the future generation of this country will surely pay for it dead or alive. No wonder majority of them produce semi imbeciles as children.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The lottery of life Where to be born in 2013 Nov 21st 2012 |From The World In 2013 print edition Warren Buffett, probably the world’s most successful investor, has said that anything good that happened to him could be traced back to the fact that he was born in the right country, the United States, at the right time (1930). A quarter of a century ago, when The World in 1988 light-heartedly ranked 50 countries according to where would be the best place to be born in 1988, America indeed came top. But which country will be the best for a baby born in 2013? To answer this, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), a sister company of The Economist, has this time turned deadly serious. It earnestly attempts to measure which country will provide the best opportunities for a healthy, safe and prosperous life in the years ahead. Its quality-of-life index links the results of subjective life-satisfaction surveys—how happy people say they are—to objective determinants of the quality of life across countries. Being rich helps more than anything else, but it is not all that counts; things like crime, trust in public institutions and the health of family life matter too. In all, the index takes 11 statistically significant indicators into . They are a mixed bunch: some are fixed factors, such as geography; others change only very slowly over time (demography, many social and cultural characteristics); and some factors depend on policies and the state of the world economy. Related topics Euro zone Switzerland United States A forward-looking element comes into play, too. Although many of the drivers of the quality of life are slow-changing, for this ranking some variables, such as income per head, need to be forecast. We use the EIU’s economic forecasts to 2030, which is roughly when children born in 2013 will reach adulthood. Despite the global economic crisis, times have in certain respects never been so good. Output growth rates have been declining across the world, but income levels are at or near historic highs. Life expectancy continues to increase steadily and political freedoms have spread across the globe, most recently in north Africa and the Middle East. In other ways, however, the crisis has left a deep imprint—in the euro zone, but also elsewhere—particularly on unemployment and personal security. In doing so, it has eroded both family and community life. Enlarge Where to be born in 1988 What does all this, and likely developments in the years to come, mean for where a baby might be luckiest to be born in 2013? After crunching its numbers, the EIU has Switzerland comfortably in the top spot, with Australia second. Small economies dominate the top ten. Half of these are European, but only one, the Netherlands, is from the euro zone. The Nordic countries shine, whereas the crisis-ridden south of Europe (Greece, Portugal and Spain) lags behind despite the advantage of a favourable climate. The largest European economies (, and Britain) do not do particularly well. America, where babies will inherit the large debts of the boomer generation, languishes back in 16th place. Despite their economic dynamism, none of the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) scores impressively. Among the 80 countries covered, Nigeria comes last: it is the worst place for a baby to enter the world in 2013. Boring is best Quibblers will, of course, find more holes in all this than there are in a chunk of Swiss cheese. America was helped to the top spot back in 1988 by the inclusion in the ranking of a “philistine factor” (for cultural poverty) and a “yawn index” (the degree to which a country might, despite all its virtues, be irredeemably boring). Switzerland scored terribly on both counts. In the film “The Third Man”, Orson Welles’s character, the rogue Harry Lime, famously says that Italy for 30 years had war, terror and murder under the Borgias but in that time produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance; Switzerland had 500 years of peace and democracy—and produced the cuckoo clock. However, there is surely a lot to be said for boring stability in today’s (and no doubt tomorrow’s) uncertain times. A description of the methodology is available here: food for debate all the way from Lucerne to Lagos. Laza Kekic: director, country forecasting services, Economist Intelligence Unit From The World In 2013 print edition |

Alfred Ibojo: Jega, though sincere he seem, he is grossly incompetent. What's all this claims concerning missing names on voter's ? If a gubernatorial candidate and his household could be declared missing on voter's , I wonder how many names would have been missing. With these development, I believe majority of prospective voter has been disenfranchised. We still what this comedian put us through in 2011 when all was set for voting on elective and he made his opprobrius declaration that ballots were not ready. Jega should be replaced! And you still forgot that some people ed more than once in the exercise which could affect their names coming out. More so, how are u sure that the system recognized their registrations because most of those people that did that exercise didn't properly some people. 1 Like |

But why are some people saying rigging? I don't understand how some people's mentality work. Anambra has being an igbo party,Peter Obi has done better than some governors and they campaigned rigorously for their candidate. I never expected Ngige to win the election no matter the circumstances, he has not done anything in the senate coupled with the fact that he is in a party that is perceived to be anti igbo party, so I see no reason why people think that the election was rigged. APGA will definitely win APC in all ramifications, am not surprised at all..!

After Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi's policy which stopped banks from issuing foreign currencies to people, citing that no other country does that. I was also expecting him to mandate banks to convert people`s naira to any currency they want when doing international business or sending money overseas based on prevailing exchange rate. Why is it that Nigerian banks only issue BTA to people who are going for studies with a maximum of $4000 or its equivalent? If you want to travel or send money outside the country, banks can't issue you exchange, you still have to go and buy foreign currency through black market which is now being hyped by his cronies. Then where is the base for his policy? Because foreign banks transfer money straight from your to anywhere in the world apart from Nigeria. 6 Likes |

zuker: it doesnt matter as long as the car is tested sound. we bought 2 cars in coutonuo 2 months ago, one higlander 2005 came with 220,000 and mini cooper 06 with 175,000 and these cars are as fresh as new. most clean cars we saw there are over 100k milleage i just dont how we get 30k on 1999 models of cars in 9ja. Because most of the Nigerian traders manipulate the mileage after buying high mileage cars and accident cars. Any car below 2007 that looks extraordinary clean, try and look that car very well because 9 out 10, you are buying accident and repainted car. Always check your car report if you want to know really what you are buying. Is free, get the state of the car, and look up the vin number, it will tell you if is clean/blue title or salvage/ certificate of destruction. |

Our educational system collapsed since we started having these generation of good for nothing idiots who parade themselves as lecturers due to the failed system we are into. Majority of them are girls molesters (that should be rotting in jail) who award their marks after sleeping with female students. Most of them under normal circumstances have no business being in the academic environment. Is very unfortunate that what we now have are money hungry people who do not have ion for teaching but managed to see themselves into university classrooms due to unemployment and connections. They now compare themselves with politicians, my advice to them is anybody who is uncomfortable with the package provided by the government should as a matter of urgency resign his or her job, rather than holding our education system to ransom due to their greed. Government employed and should detect their salary and condition of service , is not up to them to enforce their needs or demand on the government. Most of the professors go home with more than #500k monthly excluding other avenues they have been using to extort students; Handouts, sorting, assignments, transcripts, issions etc. Teaching has never been a profession for the greedy and money hungers. We are tired of this menace. Is high time the public call ASUU to order! As a matter of fact, there should be a ban on the body called ASUU, the union is constituting nuisance to our education system. I wonder if there is a body or any association that connects the teachers in the institutions of higher learning in developed countries. You are employed on a particular cadre and you grow from there, if you find a better opportunity you apply. Most of our Useless lectures ask female students to pay for hotel which they sleep with them before ing them, Our education system is in shamble due to their recklessness. How there you insult or open your mouth to sexually harass a student in United states? You are paid to teach and therefore own them respect because they determine your salary. But in Nigeria is completely the opposite. Enough is enough!

Now with these stupid policy which I have not known the actual positive effect, what happens to all those Aboki people that are into exchange? He didn't realize that most of them will quit business..

I have tried finding any reasonable reason why all these northern governors are fighting Gej but no reasonable answer but selfish ethnicity bigotism. For crying out loud, these guys should allow this man to focus on his istration. I don't see the reason for all these distractions. Since this man ascended the position of leadership, it has been one crisis or the other, after creating boko haram, he has been able to curtail it while carrying out his responsibility, yet they are not happy. Everybody is saying he has not done anything, yet the two years this man has spent so far is better than 38 years the north has enslaved this country. Some foolish people like governor Aliyu whose eye is like frog is talking about one term agreement, who did he sign the agreement with? Nigerians or Northerners? These guys sucks..very soon they will realize that those their selfishness will not work come 2015. Any attempt to ridicule Gej will be the end of the fucking country called Nigeria. This is not Nigerian/ Biafra war neither will it be boko haram and burning of harmless churches. They can't win this time..because Britain is not going to them as they did in Nigeria/Biafra war.

About 44 people praying at a mosque in Konduga town, some 22 miles outside Maiduguri, Borno state, have been gunned down by suspected Islamic militants, security agents said. A Department of State Service, DSS, agent and a member of a civilian vigilante group working with the military said, yesterday, they counted the bodies at the mosque after last Sunday morning’s attack. Also yesterday, embattled leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau made a video appearance and claimed series of recent deadly attacks on security forces in the North-East. Shekau also insisted that he was in “good health” despite an on-going military offensive aimed at crushing the Islamist insurgent group he heads. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/08/44-massacred-in-borno-mosque/#sthash.M9AT39Ae.dpuf |
