please i have a question someone i know applied for a visa an ission from a college but the visa was denied now the college told the student to withdraw his fees before the 10th day after classes start because after then no fee refund and the person wants to reapply.
Now can the person withdraw the fees and still reapply with the ission letter? they would have to cancel the ission too once a refund is requested? because getting another ission is far and he can risk the 8500 cad paid

Lols sowp takes a while. Some of us waited for a whole year before it was approved. Also i have seen some that came out in 2 months which ever is the case the prayer is that it is approved. I think they were attending to study permit to meet up with winter now that winter resumption is past then the good news will start coming in on sowp applications lols. It is well and it will end in praises

You can send a reminder via webform it think it will help also you can the mp for ur spouses area in canada here via email he/she will help follow up. Your spouse can get that information online. Also you can request for gcms notes your spouse can request from here its 5cad but if u used third party site its 20cad. This will give you a picture of what stage your application is on and what to do.

I assume you are familiar with the documents required from a sponsor since you are on a study permit. So, as a student, you can sponsor her if you have a source of income and were not sponsored. Likewise, you are good if you have graduated and are now on a maintained status for PGWP, evidenced by the work authorization letter issued by IRCC.

Paying her tuition is an even more convincing way of ing her.

Please check the refund policy of Seneca College.

This is why i am worried. I have some gunding and I am still a student till april next year. My wife and kids just ned me three months ago. Although i am working part time in a good food industry. But wont they feel the financial load will be much. I know to some extent how study permit works but need advice on this

Seneca college is a good school and I believe they refund tuition fees. You can either visit the school in person, call or check their refund policy.

You can sponsor your sis without actually showing your immigration status even though it's on record you are in Canada.

I will also recommend, you don't mention the agriculturist part but let her present employment status shoe she's into logistics and maybe manager of the logistics department.

I am currently rounding up my masters program at mcgill and my family already ed me. Is it adviseable i sponsor her by using my statement or i just pay her 1st term tuition? She is an agriculturist but have worked in a logistics and shipping company for 3years and is the manager of a branch. The school is requesting for 8k cad for her to reserve her seat and it will lapse on december 9th.
Also do they refund in case of visa denial becos she already mailed them but no response.

How long does it take if port is submitted for stamping at VFS Lagos?

Around 10days for abuja including weekends and most times faster than that just make sure all documents are intact to avoid delays

If you intend to use a sponsor not related to you then the person has to show commitment by paying.

She will do medicals and xray. The only exception for xray is pregnant women.

Redoing medical isnt a problem the problem is getting a date to do it fast. In my honest opinion i would have prefered he travels before that date i mean arrive canada before that date becos with election coming in Nigeria nothing is certain i assure you. And nigerian system is very volatile now and high tension everywhere. Book a flight and come in a week before or somedays before becos even IOM and qlife the experience my wife had with them even with medical request from IRCC wasnt small. So for those two reasons i will advise he come in it is better. Saves lots of stress and naija fighting/paraing skills at both hospitals except he wants to do it in abuja though.

Hmmmm it all depends on the best approach that would bring the optimum results oo. Also it depends on your initial explanation and finances. I waited for 1year for my spouse and kids to me within the one year i visited them in nigeria. And it ended with praise they are with me now. So let everyone map out what pays their situation best and work it out

Get a big envelop to carry everything at large so as to pay courier fees one time to and fro. But each port with each vfs payment and each documents the port shud enter individual small envelops. This collection of indiviual small envelops will now be put one after the other in the big envelop and the address and name as well as other iformation to be put on a white sheet of paper will include all the info for everyone and put in the big envelope.

No they won’t. I am advising on the fastest route to get SOWP. Apply for visa first to Canada. Then apply for SOWP once you get to Canada.

It takes forever to get an SOWP if you are applying from Nigeria.
Always check the visa processing time online.

Do you know that u need stronger home ties and more convincing sop to get a visit visa approved. The approval rate for visit compared to sowp is very low.

SOWP takes too long if applying from Nigeria. Check average processing time for work permit from Nigeria. As at this morning, it is 57 weeks. It is better to apply for a temporary visa and then when you are in Canada you apply for SOWP.

I applied for my spouse when it was 13weeks and her application and that of the kids was not approved until it was 58 weeks so it is not followed.

Let me answer few of ur questions
2. Proof of funds for you is 5k and each child is 3k so you will need 14k for you and the kids. Also your spouse must show proof of tuition payment for the current term and some money she is using to cater for living expenses.
3. You can use any gckey. Although creating a new one looks ideal but even those that used the old one also got lots of approvals
4. Family reunification is a good enough reason with different branches based on ur story.

I have always advocated that we should desist from using our nuclear family as hometies. It is better to use job, business, landed properties and assets as well as aged parents.
This is how it works whatever u use as hometies is used as a suretee that after your program you will return. Although they also understand that one can change his or her mind after study to stay but during the duration of study the home tie should be there. Now if it is job or business or assets you dont need to take them to canada just sell them off or cancel whatever bond. Now that it is ur family the age might be absolutely right but there might still be ways of escape and this basically depends on your story and present determinations

Although dual intent is allowed but that is if the two application is temporary and permanent streams. But for you VV and sowp they are both Temporary resident visa (TRV).
Haven said that, i will advise u leave both applications running as far as the UCI are connected once the VV is attended to the sowp will most likely visited simultaneaously then IRCC will cancel the visit themselves and approve the sowp.
