Are they on strike that I am not aware of and they forgot to switch off power as usual?

I came back on Wednesday, 23rd Dec 09, prepared for the worst PHCN experience this holiday.
Armed with an inverter that can last me up to 48hrs (after charge and depending on load), a gen set and enough petrol bought at a crazy price cos of scarcity.

BUT

I think after their boss got tired of playing with the switch as usual and gave us power finally for the day i.e evening Thursday the 24th of Dec 09,
ever since, I have been waiting for their crab eyes to blink, alas, am the one with a tired and an aching eyes.

Though I am very much afraid, still no martial music or news of the death of an important person that could determine total black out forever or steady power forever, when no man is GOD.

That aside, I only want to use this medium to commend them (PHCN/NEPA), maybe they will forever forget to leave the switch on, who knows.

Fifth day and still counting. . . shocked

How is it at your end? Me just wondering.

P.S. Please don't ask me where I reside. tongue

uhmmm quite an interesting read, btw, where are the omniscient ones?

If there is none, then the 10% chance left, based on NL atheist that there is a "GOD" will forever make me stick to the believe that there is GOD.

WHY?

What do I lose doing good and believing there is GOD? I lose "Nothing", except the excesses that kills or destroy MEN.

I think its better to believe and later find out there is no GOD (got nothing to lose) than not believing and later to find out there is GOD. (Got all to lose)

With the latest policy (10 years) , clearing etc. . .  I doubt, unless you buy naija used which is a risky deal.
also most car dealers inflate price . . . no pun intended

Where are ma ladies at? Don't tell me Xoriyo silenced yall.

Truth be told, I have seen both the urgliest and the sexiest from every tribe, race, nation, continent, cyberspace or meatspace.
Don't kill yourself over what you can't touch when lifeless but throw away/bury.

Just do a search on google image with the keyword "somali girl" or "somali woman" and see the true somali girl/woman - (majority of them = tsk tsk tut tut) except the model/photoshop ones.

Everything got its +ve & -ve sides (pro/con)
but I will forever prefer a manual except in a crazy hold-up, just pray all you need to make your Automatic start when u have a break down is OK, like your Battery or Alternator.

Major or Minor, they are all the same, except some selected few, like Mobil @ Obanikoro, close to Anthony Village (maybe I was lucky the owner was around)

AP after Mushin going towards Olorunshogo is also a terible place to buy fuel

True talk though as I don't want to believe this write up https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/nigeria/topic-310537.0.html triggered yours.

Its our current state of affairs, but I believe something needs to be done asap, in addition to the extra collected , they do not dispense the right amount of fuel.

Lets pray the likes of Sanusi is in this department and will take reasonable action if we all forward petitions against all defaulting petrol station in our areas.

Thanks though, but a call or mail I think will be better, we are in the IT age.
cos I will continually bombard them until they inspect and perform.

Thanks once again

I Need To Report A Cheating Petrol-Station Asap

I'd actually decided for long never to buy into a car from this particular filling station after buying and noticed there was no change in the fuel guage, and couldn't risk going on my planned journey but to go back home and take additional money to buy from another filling station.

There is a way they press the fuel dispenser, that reduce or rather not dispense at all.
I sent someone to buy N25 litres recently but met 20 litres and I was kind of doubting the person but knowing them (Filling Station) for whom they are.

It was so glaring today after buying fuel myself, since the container I took was transparent, one can tell when this particular fat lady was dispensing and when she was just fiddling with the nossle.

Aside from collecting N30 extra for buying into a jerry can, she sold 8 litres instead of 10 litres, though the machine wrote 10litres but I am certain they've ajusted the meter.

Please I need info on any regulating body to call/write/report to asap.

Its just too ridiculous

Thank You

@ Tsiya

You've got valid points though, but it depends on your religious belief/leader, is it that of an eye for an eye or that of forgiveness?

OR

That of a believer who understands the Holy books thru the Holy Spirit or one who just believe every rhapsody that cometh out of a selfish/self centered mans mouth

OR

When you reverend your religious leader to the extreme, even when they fart you say amen or peace be unto you?

We all know of several General Overseeer(s) (GO)/Imam(s)/Babalawo(s) that no one can ever see their sins except GOD,
the followers believe they are saints or when they sin it's interpreted/mis-represented for good,

THEY ALL LIVE LIKE DICTATORS without any comion for the common wretched sheep, always focusing on [s]the gigantic structure called house of GOD[/s] their empire at the expense of the poor who lives under the bridge next to the very structure built by the poor sheep's offering, AGBALOWO MEERI (they collect from those who don't have) except for some selected few only known to BABA GOD.

LET THEM ALL DECLARE THIER ASSETS, YOU WILL MARVEL, CHURCH MONEY BELONGING TO AN INDIVIDUAL.

Based on the above submission, is that the type of leaders you want in politics? If not, then nominate just one person and lets debate on that individual, beseech and him for Presidency.

It depends on what u mean by "SIMPLE"

When your target is the less IT savvy and focus is all er friendly. then simplicity is key.

Simplicity doesn't mean bad graphics or coding, but the less you look the more you see.

People don't have to rack crack their brains to understand the workings of your site

@ Seun, I hope its not an antic for a BIGGER TOPIC/POST of the YEAR "SEUN now born Again"

@ Topic : Punch advert antics is a BIGGER BLUNDER for the moment.

Bloggers are doing better than they are, no buy back etc,

SAHARA Reporter or Nigeriavillagesquare.com as a good example .

Also, all it takes is one person becoming a member and posting content on his/her blog
sfiea: 10:42am On Jun 22, 2009
There're more free readers than the amount of papers in circulation.
there is a make believe that papers are printed in millions which is a "BIGGER LIE"

Ask the insiders they most a times have no more than 10,000 papers in criculation

understanding the power of advertising using google adsense (adword), facebook, bidvertiser, adbrite, kontera, forum etc is "KEY"

I was focusing on political trips and not medical trips.

by the way, we have 189 - 195 countries in the world, depending on your take,
what is 3 or 4 less one, got to do with it, OBJ a better illiterate did better than this in the name of bringing foreign business partners.

At the end, OBJ is now a saint in the area of economics which is failing daily for Yar'dua.

The poster said "if", because he is aware the president will never visit this land, he has never left his domain all his life except US, SA and ABJ, he didn't even finish his tour campaign.

He will surely send a representative (rep) over here, who will feed him negative report on our activities.
A committee will surely be setup, the report becomes the "8th I DANGER"
Another rep will come visiting and feed him another wrong report
This will continue forever, lets pray a 3rd term I DANGER is not on his list of I DANGER because 2nd term is surely a curse and a spirit in ASO ROCK, they all want to die there.

Aso rock is expensively beautiful, it was a military palace barrack in disguise.

Worthy call though, but don't distract the man like he said. 2yrs is still a long way to go, lots still to be done and accomplished.
If he declares his ambition a day to election, I am very certain, I and other patriotic Nigerians will vote for him. (what out for isi-eiwu and no picture on ballot papper)
sfiea: 6:53pm On Jun 02, 2009
Truequest:

Some people are actually saying I should tell him to resign also, I would have
but the last time I checked we are in Nigeria not Europe or America. Here leaders
don't resign they are either voted or butted out.

EXCELLENT TOPIC

If the above mentioned method of resignation don't work for all our corrupt African Leaders.
Then, they surely shall die before the end of thier tenure in office, inshallah

Once a soldier always a soldier, once a rogue always a rogue, if they truly repent, and decides to open up cans of worm,
let them return all their looted monies* skyscrappers*, lands, aircrafts, luxurious cars. even our repenting thieforator called "Nasir El-Rufai"

I hope this avenue is safe enough to open your mouths (freedom of speech) without Sergent Rogers coming after you all. me thinks

It is well, I celebrated Democracy day without power (light/nepa), was on gen all day.

"Great lofty heights can never be attain" by burning money on fuel for gen 24/7

or when you are rendered useless all day cos of power.

I don't know if our leaders don't understand the word "POWER". Power, powers' all thing, without it, uhmmm!!!
