This will determine the amount of morning due and the survivability of the stems while the dry season will last. If the land is located on a low area, with good moisture holding capacity he can go ahead. Else, i'll say the risk is not worth it. The Ideal thing is to wait for the new planting season if the land lacks that above properties that can sustain the stem.
