They did get the all important second, however, when Di Maria finally got one right to play in Wayne Rooney, who burst through and dinked over Martinez.

Di Maria then had the chance to rub salt into the wounds in the 94th minute, but after racing from his own half he chipped over Martinez again but saw the effort bounce well wide.

Award winning Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o would play the role of the Ugandan chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi, in a new film about Mustesi’s life called “Queen of Katwe” that is being produced and directed by the prolific film director Mira Nair.

Harare – Eleven people were killed in a stampede at a crusade held by a popular prophet in Kwekwe, central Zimbabwe, on Friday, police and a religious organisation said.

Ventures Africa, an African business magazine and news service, launched its second annual ranking of Africa’s wealthiest people yesterday . The Richest People in Africa list remains the most comprehensive compilation of the continent’s wealthiest individuals.

In 2014, Ventures Africa counted 55 African billionaires with a net worth totalling $161.7 billion, a 12.4% rise from $143.8 billion in 2013.

This year Nigeria remains the continent’s top contributor to the Rich List. Of the 55billionaires, 23 are Nigerian. Their collective wealth is $77.7 billion. This is 48 percent of the total Rich List wealth, almost as much as the other countries combined.
