@richu89 . I experienced same but since no sensitization. In my casr after 1st mc at 8wks and 2nd at 26wks. Next time i was placed on duphaston tablet to help supprt pregnancy and prevent contraction.....at 15wks scan dy detected cervix funneling and dy did cerclage. Thank God everything worked out fine. I pray everything goes smoothly for u this time around.

I was also taking baby aspirin like as some1 adviced. But i reduced it to once in 2days sibce it was not part of my hosp prescription.just in 1st trim because i stopped later. I was not taking ut dt much sef. Dey believe ot help in circulation of blood by thinning blood dy flows. They always say to ask ones doc if one can take it.
Have faith its all going to work out well dis time around.

Hello Drs in d house,just found this thread and the few things i have read make alot of sense. Great job i must say,God bless y'all. My question : Is it possible to menstruate and not ovulate.. i usually don't take note of ovulation calendar cause i felt it wasn't necessary as i have no issue with fertility until i lost my 25weeks pregnancy sometimes in March. Been TTC since then and its like its taking forever. My cycle is normal and regular, 26 days. Buy my friends said during ovulation which is days after menstruation, there's always this slippery color less discharge but i haven't noticed it in these past 2months. Does it then mean there's no ovulation?

@mydeporch thanks ma'am i appreciate. i carried out alot of test and it turned out i wasn't sensitized. i had a great relief my new Dr even stressed that Africans hardly get sensitized. Tho my sugar level was quite high,he felt it might be gestational diabetes because the baby was was surrounded by plenty water. in all i think im more secured with this new Dr and with God everything will be alright. i eagerly await d next pregnancy. i love u ma

Above all, mamas please lets no take any symptom for granted no matter how small we think it is. i could i started cramping weeks before d loss and i asked a nurse and she told me its normal til i give birth. it even got worse and i kept managing it. God knows best anyway. May Y'all carry to term and deliver safely

Awww i feel so loved right now. i have been feeling bad all these while that nobody ed me. i lost the pregnancy sometimes in March. It was the worst thing to ever happen to me. it was 25weeks old. i went for ultrasound that day and no heartbeat was found. it was as if i should die. seasoned doctors onboard,I need all the help and exposure I can get on an injection called RHOGAM. I am rh negative while my hubby is positive.I had a miscarriage sometimes in 2013. I wasn't well informed about this blood group palava so I didn't get a rhogam shot. I conceived again last year and I was hale and hearty all through the pregnancy,only to wake up one morning with a dead baby at 25 weeks. I was devastated and Doctors are of the opinion that my blood group could have killed the baby because there's every tendency that the first pregnancy miscarried was positive and a mixture of blood must have occurred during the process,leading to my body revolting against future pregnancies. Tho I took the rhogam injection now but some doctors are of the opinion that It can't work again since I have been sensitized from the first pregnancy. Now my question is,is there no remedy for this condition and will I keep losing pregnancy like this? please don't hold back your knowledge as I'll available to answer all questions. ignore all typo errors .Thanks

Congrats to all january mamas that have put to bed . Safe delivery to all those still awaiting their los. Had my son a week ago weighing 4.1kg VD no tear.

I had my cerclage put in at 14 wks and then removed at 36 weeks. My cervix went to 1cm immediately but i didnt go into labour, at my 37 week check was 2cm same at my 38 week check. My doctor decided we should induce if i was still pregnant by 39wks. I had been having painful cramps since i was 36 weeks and it was increasing daily . I could not sleep through the night as the cramps would wake me up. By the time i got home after my 38 week check at about 1pm i kept having infrequent contractions.By midnight the contractions would come 10mins 9mins back to 12 mins apart . I managed it till 6am in the morning got my hubby to get my son off to school and called my doctor. I was asked to go to L& D by the time i was itted and checked was 6cm .

My contractions were still irregular, no bloody show and my water did not break but i was in labour even though i wasnt sure until i was checked at the hospital. I would advise ftms to be vigilant you may not have all the classic labour signs and actually be dilating its best to always get to the hospital and get checked.

At 6cm the pain was still okay but being a 3rd time mom i knew the pains still coming ahead and immediately asked for an epidural this was about 9.30 in the morning. I was relaxed epidural given and the equipment monitoring the babys heart rate and my contractions were set up. The epidural caused a drop in my blood pressure i was dizzy and incoherent but an injection was given and i was ok. I was there till 5.00pm watching tv talking to my hubby was checked and i was 9cm . My doctor now said i should be given a bit of oxytocin i didnt feel any pain but from the monitor i could see i was contracting more . By 5.40 the doctor said time to push my baby was born at 6.02pm.

I really thk God for seeing me through. I have had to deal with multiple miscarriages, incompetent cervix, high blood pressure and i have 3 kids notwithstanding. As i hang up my boots finally mamas no matter the diagnosis the conditions they say you have the number of miscarriages, the financial issues, husbands not cooperating i will tell you i have seen it all. God will always answer when you call him it may tarry but it will happen at the appointed time. He will wipe away tears and restore whatever the cankerworm has eaten. Be prayerful it is well mamas. I am not an active thread member but will always address any issue directed to me.

On the diaper issue, molfix was bae for me till I bought the fake ones( you won't know till you start using it), the waistband and strap doesn't hold for long with rashes on bum.

It's better to buy from big stores as they are being supplied by molfix distributors( I purchased only from Ceci Plaza when I was still in Akure)

I changed to Toujours, it's good too till I discovered Baby Hugg which is ✔ ✔ ✔ ✔ ✔ ✔.

My birth story
On the 24th of December which happened to be my mum's birthday I was jejely cracking chicken bone I n hubby wen I noticed drops of brownish blood coming out of my jajaina this was about past 2pm so about 30mins it came again so my mum said it seems I'm in due already so mummy went home to bring my hospital things and off we got to the hospital on getting there I met the matron I told her wat I saw she checked and said your jajaina is too tight me I was busy smiling she forced her way through tho it was painful after checking she said I was already in labour so I said ok but I'm not feeling anything now she said don't worry u will feel it very soon so me, dh and mummy started gisting after a while I will walk round the hospital like ten times still no show so at about 8pm another person took over so she checked me but didn't say anything I was still gisting but now I feel light pains around my waist after an hour I became restless my waist was no longer there I told the nurse I wanted to bath she said no problem I took my bath only for me to come out I started feeling cold n heat at the same time so I wasn't allowed to go outside again I and dh were sitting in the reception while gisting the contraction will just hit me I won't shout but I was moaning I was reserving my strength to push in the middle of the pain after a while if anyone talk I tell them to shut up that the more I hear voices the contractions became more painful at about after 11pm I vomited it was after the vomit I tear ground I was taking inside didn't know wen I flogged my wrapper dh will cover me again I will just shout leave me ooo my waist help me o after a while it will go down after a few minutes I will scream the nurse kept on encouraging me that I'm almost there by past 1 on the 25th I was taking into the delivery room I told the nurse I needed someone to hold me that they should call my dh naso dh enter he will hold me wen contractions hit me again I will shout leave me ooo at some point I started shivering hubby was feeling heat because I told them to of the fan naso we dey on and off fan hubby was petting me kissing I will just shout again he said to the nurse that he couldn't stand it seeing me go through this pain that his loosing his mind that my mum should come n stay small as my mum came in n held my hand I screamed leave my hand oya rub my back she will rub it I will shout again is too slow oya fast fast I will shout again is too fast she started praying I shouted at her did I I say u should pray don't pray ooo I cried my eyes out the nurse checked again saying u are very close these contractions will be more painful but just endure wen your body tells you to push then u push I said OK but call my husband dh was already sweating this was t0 3am the pain came it was as if I wasn't in this world I was just telling God pls God I need this Christmas gift pls help me o after that little prayer I got the urge to poo n push at the same the nurse said oya push naso I begin piss hubby just dey look me she said push again I pushed she said am seeing your baby's head push I pushed again naso she cut me after that I pushed one more time n my baby was out by past 3 on Christmas day after that she now said I'm going to be a tailor I was like ehn kilode she said she will stitch were she cut naso she start the injection she gave me didn't even work for me I screamed the building nearly came I woke everybody up that pain labor itself but I thank God it ended In praise

Sorry have been off for long but am back with good news.


God has blessed my family with a beautiful princess. She made her royal entrance on the 3rd January 2017 at 8pm. Have a very long induction. Imagine labor from 7am -7pm be4 I was given d drip then she came 8pm weighing 3.7kg at 40weeks+6days with big tear. We are at home now. Thank God for everything.

happy new year FAM. May God guide and protect us this year and beyond. Please house,I keep having stomach upset but it subsides before I get to d hospital and the Dr said insists that he can't prescribe any drug since i don't always experience it when I'm with him. But this is a big issue to me. Has anyone one ever experienced this and how did you sort it. Thanks for your responses

op I understand every bit of how you feel. A Dr has fingered me before because I complained about vagina itching. I felt bad,terrible I screamed and reported to my fiance then. He wanted to take it up but we were pacified. some Drs are terrible.I prefer a female Dr anytime or a male Dr in the presence of a nurse....Sorry ma you will get over it
