Shes within her right to sue or not to sue. For me this suing culture needs to be instituted so that those who hug "Freedom of speech" as a gateway to defame people, will be mindful of their words!

Sorry Reno! Your hatred for Peter Obi is your nightmare. Peter Obi have more far political and global recognition than you are.
Eissh...you now compare Obi with Reno? This is a new low man! Sometimes just shush when you are confronted with empirically verifiable facts that you cant impugn!

That's old story. This has been the situation for a number of years now. Sometimes, there is a complete shutdown of the roads for hours, especially in the early hours of the day.

Every year December when we go home; for the past 3 or 4 years, we come down from our vehicles, except the driver, at least 2 stops along Onitsha - Owerri road precisely, walk down a stretch of road until we're past all the road blocks on that stretch, before getting into the vehicle again.

I'm surprised it is surfacing as if it's something new.
I was surprised too cos it's almost "standard procedure" for the Army! Some people want to make noise of nothing! Atleast they didnt tell them to walk with their hands above their heads!

Really? But aside the judgment didn't INEC itself vow to follow and enforce that particular guideline. It is sad how we allow partisanship eat into our psyche like this
The electoral act far supercedes any "guideline" and that act gives INEC discretionary powers to to switch any mode of transmission. This is a matter of law and the law with its flaws has no emotion!

So political parties who have grievances with such should do the needful push for an amendment of that act because if they don't INEC will as they please on this whether they said they will follow a guideline.

Tinubu should just release Nnamdi kanu for peace to reign in the SE. See how innocent souls are being wasted. Why's Tinubu wicked. Since he was sworn in, the rate of hardship and insecurity has increased. Buhari gave us someone worse than him so that we would miss him.
So all these lives been wasted daily are not worth anything compared to Kanus life? Wow...no wonder there is an Ekpa instigating insecurity at will in your region! This is cowardice at its worst!

Cc Nlfpmod Mynd44 OAM4J Dominique
Are you sure you want it to stop because obviously you don't? I say this because you have governors (the CSO of their states) with plenty "billionaires" who you can rally to create a solid homegrown security outfit!

If that is too expensive, tell your governors to go borrow a chapter from Wike's playbook on how to deal with criminals but you see you wouldnt want that cos in your people's hate for Wike and your illusion you think you will have IPOB without their criminality.

I know you will say what is the place of the President in all this? The thing is your people feel soldiers deployed by the Federal government to the SE are out to commit "genocide". You know the "victim mentality thing" now.

When it has gotten far enough the Federal government will step and if they prove stubborn, a state of emergency will be declared and then maybe just maybe some sanity will be restored!

My previous opinions on this controversial issue. I acknowledge I was wrong. Hence apologised to the reading public. However, I am convinced I stood on the side of caution for the authenticity of the matter to be appropriately defined and actions taken.
Yes, we can see it laced with the usual ethnic coloration whenever any issue like this comes up. The victim mentality! The audacity to defend fraud as hate!

Then we see how you gradually came to embarrassingly capitulate after realising how a 19 year old "minor" made a fool of millions of her kinsmen! Shameful! We see how you linked it to totally unrelated events!

Yes, Kperogi listed valuable lessons and I am glad you are his ardent follower but obviously you and your ilks don't and won't learn! Some of your kins are already telling us they "forced" a confession out of her!

Another will come and we will see how you all will regale us with another show of shame and term it "hate"!

People don't create topics celebrating marriages. They rather enjoy it in peace and happiness. It is those who are having marital challenges that create posts highlighting those challenges to either get advice or to clear their heads.
True word. People need to do more of this cos the "bad rep" marriage gets these days ehn it will make some people believe even those who are in happy marriages are lowkey "suffering" as evidenced by some people's comment on this thread!

I expect Yorubas to be in of this so that Igbos can free Lagos for them. But I'm surprised that some of them are hating again.

As long as Igbos are forced to gather in Lagos because of the ports, the city will remain choked up.

You know Igbos are aggressive capitalists, so you will always struggle against them and when you're outsmarted, it breeds envy and hate.
One thing wit your likes is this...you talk way too much and at the end you achieve nothing because you will have sapped the energy on empty rhetorics!

You want to leave Lagos, you will create 700 threads!
You want a port, you do the same!
You want to turn the east to Dubai, chestbeating talk!

Shey you have all the billionaires in Nigeria plus governors who can make this happen?

Nothing stops you from doing all these-absolutely Nothing but you will do what you do best, talk!

How can they move at once, when the Lagos state government is paying millions encouraging people not to leave Lagos.

This article is a case in point.

You and your ilks can't stop making some of us laugh! So it is an artcle that stops you from moving home in droves? Wow...them tie una leg?

Business is one forte where the igbos thrive but outside that every other thing you want to do is ALWAYS this way.

When the Yorubas and the Hausa want to implement a policy, they just do it but the igbos its ALWAYS this unnecessary back and forth and at the end nothing of substance is done!

Another example comes to mind when the Southwest governors met and sharp sharp Amotekun was setup to curb the herdsmen issue but with you people hmm...u sef know how far!

The state assembly speaker spoke about this ONCE and plans are underway to make policies to favor Lagos but you will think your governors will be thinking policy and engagements to lure in investors but NO-noise noise and more chestbeating noise is all you got! 4 years from now nothing will happen!

I Want Tinubu To Start Addressing The West Like Ruto, Kagame, and Ramaphosa

Anytime I hear the above presidents, including even the likes of Museveni and Nana Akuffo Addo...

Even when I watch their countries' parliamentary sessions on YouTube, I wonder ''ARE WE IN NIGERIA OCCUPYING THE SAME CONTINENT AS THESE PEOPLE?''

These countries are rejecting imperialist policies of the west on a daily basis.

Saying AFRICA does not want so called 'aid'.

Africa does not want to be pitied.

Africa must be regarded as EQUALS of every other people on this Earth.

Cut the high tariffs you impose on African manufactured goods imports to your countries.

World Bank, Stop the 25% interest rates for funding African development projects while European nations pay 3%.

Ruto, the Kenyan president said IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN that one country in Europe or Asia will call a summit for African leaders to go there and discuss goodness knows what.

If you want to do business with Africa, we will send you a delegation of 2 or 3 officials from the AU.

Or you can go to the particular countries in Africa you wish to do business with.

The other day Paul Kagame of Rwanda scolded one useless BBC journalist that asked him a stupid question.

Asked her ''who the hell do you think you are to tell us what is the right thing to do and not do? Who are you? What is your history?''

Look mehn....

And you know, the great thing about this new mentality among African leaders is that it SPURS them to BUILD THEIR COUNTRIES and end impediments to development which THEY can control.

These are men with pride. WHO KNOW THEIR AFRICAN HISTORY, and know that it was BLACK AFRICANS who civilized the white people and the Asians - everyone.

SO they can never be inferior to their students.

To their children in civilization.

Pharaoh Tutunkhamun (1320 BC)

We want Tinubu to talk like them.

This is the age of PAN AFRICANISM.

The African Renaissance.

Tribalism is outdated.

When the world sees you, all they see is AFRICANS, and they plan to exploit you, and destroy you.

Your tribalism makes their job easy.

Our first step to greatness is to have an ANTI-IMPERIALIST MINDSET.

If you want to extract our resources, build the factory and process it here in Africa.

No more selling raw materials to you, then you process and sell back to us at 10 times the price.

TINUBU, TALK LIKE THEM.

To those of you that get a hard on from all the rhetorics by African leaders, I wish you well! Nobody respects a talker but a doer! Africa needs to rise beyond empty rhetorics to start making strides in every field, then you will be respected!

See a country like Iran under heavy sanctions by the west are the ones selling cheap drones to Russia!

Imagine there was an epodemic today and the prevalence of what was obtainable in China was what is found in Africa, will rhetorics curb it or will we in our usual manner run to this same people we were running our mouths to? Your guess is as good as mine!

Let Africa rise and she will be respected!

How do you mean "fix" corruption? Do you know the corruption in the subsidy regime? Do you know the corruption in having multiple exchange rates? Do you? Ofcourse this isnt the end-all of all corruption that has plagued us from 1999 till date and I believe you dont expect it to miraculously be done with by a president of less than a month.

Tinubu has been checking all the right boxes sunce assumption and commendation for so far!

Lot of laws was signed during Buhari regime, how many of them were implemented. Thesame way you guys hyped Buhari for taking 6months in selecting ministers at the end what happened. I can't just wait to drink your tears
I thought you will get it but obviously this is way beyond your pay grade! Let me explain it to you: The g of this into law now leaves it in the hand of investors to begin generating/Distributing/Transmitting power without waiting for FG to! So in siimple there is no "FG to implement" anything as you will soon start seeing investors jumping on this and this will create jobs!

Oh..You want to drink tears? I promise you, you will drink our tears of joy and it will choke you!

Is this the only good law we are having in Nigeria?
Good news that he has signed it into law. But let me remind you that the problem of Nigeria is not shortage of good laws but implementation. Let him have the political will power to implement them first then we can clap for him.

Singing into law is easy.
Buhari signed into law the PIB and many other good laws, how far?

This is not politiics am speaking , am speaking facts and those who understand will find it hard to refute my point.
I don't know if you will get this: The Implementation is in the g of the law!

Between 1958 till present, a massive 65 years, Niger Delta was plundered of its vast crude oil resources by the rest of Nigeria. They gained absolutely nothing except becoming the world's most polluted region. However, they watched idly as Lagos, Abuja and other parts of Nigeria was developed with money gotten from their region! Other regions of the world with abundant crude oil like the Middle East, Texas and even in other African countries like Angola, Libya and Gabon all experienced massive development.

They were not even given the slightest regard or appreciation by those that reaped where they didn't sow. Today, Warri is almost dead economically. P.H does not even have a single functioning refinery but a gigantic one is being built in Lagos! Virtually all the oil company headquarters are in Lagos, paying huge taxes there and employing Yorubas who are then sent to work in the Niger Delta. While the indigenes were only good for gateman and pipeline security work! Well, it is too late to cry now because the ship has already sailed away.

As gas now emerges as the energy of the present and future, Igbos will never allow their region to be plundered like it happened in Niger Delta. Imo State is the new hub of gas in Nigeria while Anambra, Abia, and Enugu has enormous deposits that will last a lifetime. Already, Shell and Seplat are building the biggest gas projects in Subsaharan Africa in Imo State. Innoson, Africa's most viable indigenous vehicle manufacturer is already producing automobiles that will make use of gas. In other words, the value chain is already being domiciled in-situ.

I like what is happening in Lagos about their so-called protection of indigenes & discrimination of other Nigerians. This people has shown that if the crude oil was in their region, other Nigerians won't have been allowed to benefit from it, the way Niger Delta did. However, now they've started indigenization decree, Igbos will complete it for them. You won't say Igbos don't have the capacity to protect their land and everything in it. At least, you saw how IPOB almost created their own territory, banning Nigerian flags and other institutions of the state. If they could do all that with half , imagine what the situation will be like with full .

Also, those that denied their brothers because oil was found in their villages will now understand that nothing lasts forever. The rejected stone is about to become the pillar stone.

You seem really pained by this indigene protection law cos you keep creating one thread after the other! Eyahh sorry! You actually called that number to "lambast" them and you take pride in it? Lol..Children full Nairaland sha!

You should be writing like @mrvitalis, but you see what he wrote, there is 90% chance your governors (who you all should be breathing down their necks) who should be the drivers behind this, haven't woken up to this reality and it will end here!

This man once stated that he doesn't believe in one Nigeria, now his actions are proving it. When he saw that Buhari may deny him their party ticket, the next thing that happened was his infamous cry on national TV while lamenting with yoruba to his people. What followed was banning and destruction of okadas and refuse carts in Lagos. He did it to get back at Buhari's people.

When Tinubu saw he was about to lose to Obi in the 2023 election, he began a hate campaign against Igbos, as a way of hitting back against Obi. Some Igbo dominated markets were burnt in Lagos as well. Even today, the hate campaign is still on. The Lagos assembly is also planning to make laws that will discriminate against non indigenes. By non indigenes, they mean non Yorubas!

This divisive character is gradually breaking up Nigeria but many are still blinded to it, because they feel it's only against Igbos.

The corrupt politicians have empowered a man. Now he is with lighter in a gas station. When the conflagration starts, it will consume the one Nigeria they can't do without.
Since it will consume the "one Nigeria" you obviously hate so much, why are you bothered? Doesn't this play perfectly into your script? I miean your Biafra agenda! Or you don't want to go home again?

Virtually every tribe is represented in Lagos but only your kind thinks that a legitimate law is out to get you. What are you hiding? Only wicked people run when no man pursues them so say the good book! Oh you thought you were going to run your mouth and beat your chest and go scot free?

Niger Delta know how they got here and they have chosen to keep mute but this attachee by force mentaluty won't give your drivel some mileage! Nah, try again!
