We should work for Nigeria and not for sectional, tribal and religious interests
How is this sectional? Or you just find pleasure in controversy?

Kaduna is divided into North and South, so there's nothing sectional or tribal about this! There's a need and it has been met with this bill!

The Northern part of Kaduna also have Senatora representing them just like every parts of Nigeria, they can also put forth a bill so that we Tinubu can "work for Nigeria". cool

We all know who's clandestinely backing Wike to destroy the PDP. We all know who's tacitly killing opposition in Nigeria's democracy by using state resources to destroy virtually all opposition parties all borne out of fear of rejection at the polls. In two electoral cycles in Rivers state, APC didn't field a candidate in the gubernatorial elections. We know who connived with Magnus Abe and Wike to make that happen just to deny Amaechi a base. They then turn around to accuse Amaechi of betraying them. The same strategy is being applied to PDP at the national level. The PDP as a party is dead and its strategic politicians have moved on.

How could a so-called Democrat be scared of a fair democratic process? Because they have no credentials to run upon.
You all know, you all know...then the next line that drips from your mouths drips of tacit irresponsibility!

These are adults with political stakes and all you keep parroting is the same ol' same stale line!

You all know, and didn't do nothing about! You are not a victim but an accomplice!

Obi is a baby politician. Who doesn't know that the ruling party would always do everything possible to weaken the opposition parties?

Didn't Obasanjo PDP did it to weaken AD at that time which led to PDP capturing all the states in the south west under the rule of AD except Tinubu Lagos? Not only that, Chief Bola Ige died in the process.

Jonathan tried to frustrate the registration of APC in 2013 but the likes of Tinubu outsmarted him. It's politics.

So, Obi should stop ing blame. Politics is about outsmarting the other.

However, it's not Tinubu that's causing all the crisis. Parties should also check themselves.
No matter how many times this is said this cry baby of a man will always blame someone else for his issues. Was it FG that chased him from APGA, PDP too?

It is Politics-Play or Get Played! Shikenan

And is working indirectly for him at the moment.
1. He was part of the media campaign against Jonathan/PDP using his Sahara reporters with precision.

2. If you observe him closely, he has been extremely vocal of PDP political products such as Saraki and Peter Obi, the messiah of Anambra.

3. He now plays an anti-establishment script of pro-poor, pro-masses. Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso are all part of the establishment. They have nothing to offer Nigerians.

Sowere's political opposition/activism is like the ranting of an ant. It will get the attention of people who are tired of the establishment, but it is not loud enough to destroy the establishment.
Hmmm...see this one using his data to put up a thread about an irrelevant "ranting of ant". Ndo

When there was trouble in Lagos APC, Tinubu stepped in and didn't ask INEC to resolve the issue. That is taking responsibility! That is leadership. Keep waiting for INEC to come and sort the issues in LP and other parties.

As political contestants, one expects peter Obi and Sowore to verbally tackle each other, from time to time, based on issues.

Again, as an opposition politician, one also expects Sowore to always beam lights on the policies of the current FG but he is rather focused on another opposition politician Peter Obi.

His recent incessant and obsessive attacks on the person of Peter Obi looks suspicious as though he is incentivized to particularly defame him out of the other politicians at all cost.

Something doesn't add up here. There is something fishy.
Whether it adds up or not, fishy or not, the conversation ended when you called them POLITICIANS and whatever theories that is cooked up doesn't add or deduct from their appellation as POLITICIANS! Shikenan

Its difficult to actually explain logic to APC people. But its okay, its expected behavior. You’re making a false equivalence here. Managing a political party under systemic sabotage from state actors isn't the same as handling personal issues. The influence of the ruling government on opposition parties in Nigeria is a well-known fact ignoring that reality oversimplifies the situation. Genuine leadership isn't about pretending external threats don’t exist; it’s about recognizing them and responding strategically. ability doesn't mean silence in the face of sabotage. Let’s be honest about the playing field.

When this government started with blaming PDP, we all were up in arms against them saying that is the height of irresponsibility! Now "our Lord and Saviour" is bleeding same and here we are up in arms again but this time to DEFEND HIM.

See the problem is, going by your submission, Obi hasn't articulated any proactive steps he has taken as party leader-not one in addressing his party crisis.

At every sight of crisis he bails!

This cry baby of a man is not to be trusted with leadership responsibilities because twitter rhetorics won't cut it.

Was it government interference that made him bolt from APGA?

Was it also government interference that made him bolt from PDP?

The likes of Wike hate him or like him have been tested as one to take on challenges head on from when he stood his ground for Amaechi in the courts to demanding that justice be done within his party not this one that knows all the problems, knows who causes all the problems but is bereft of any solutions.

The questions that won't go away is if you can't even take responsibility for issues within your party not to even talk of solving them then why should you be trusted with a higher responsibility!

If Cosmas Maduka says "ahh it's not a level playing field out there, I could have been richer than Dangote". Even if we don't agree, we will hear him out because he is a billionaire in every right. That compensates for that his complain! Conversely, Obi is like Blackface of defunct Plantashun boys who keeps complaining about Tuface "stealing" the Song African but has not one hit song after all the complain.

Abeg make we hear word

Even the courts have washed their hands off the matter of political parties asking them to employ internal party mechanisms to resolve their issues.

You call a party that won Lagos state a small party . PDP with federal might has never achieved what Obi Led labour party to do in lagos state

As a matter of fact , his votes was reduced to give others a chance in the state ...video evidence abound ...a party that dismised APC and pdp in Abuja because of Obi ... never happened in the history of Nigeria
If calling LP a small party which it obviously is, hurts you, ok they are the largest party in Africa. Happy now?

You are 100% correct. Look at one asking me above that what "what did Atiku do" and claiming dubiously that it is Atiku's right to contest?

Is Atiku's right to contest the PDP primaries in dispute here since we all know that is what politically correct literature will present for the world to read?

Yet, pragmatically intelligent Nigerians know the reality of our nation and our past murderous struggle over ethnic power grab, bloody "Igbo coup" and even bloodier Northern retaliation for example, to understand what we must not risk again unless Nigeria has agreed to part Amicably.

As long as we remain a nation then alll proper and sincere leaders who mean well for Nigeria should not hide behind the politically correct statement that "everyone can contest" to refuse sacrificing for the greater good of Nigeria's peace, unity and security.

When leaders put personal ambition above what is best for Nigeria then our nation, with a currently very fragile unity, is moving towards Rwanda genocide madness.

If the South respected the right of the North to do 8 years, then what manner of dishonorable and born-to-rule desperation is forcing Atiku's divisive ambition When he knows such could have grave consequences as George warns below vehemently?

Southerners ing Atiku are doing it out of nothing but hatred for Tinubu and Yorubas. Their mindset is that let the devil take over in 2027 and let Nigeria burn than for Tinubu and "Yoruba Government" to continue.

The pope is an American citizen but the president of America who happens to be a devout Christian was in the middle east with middle east leaders. The question is should president Tinubu have gone to Rome or sent a delegation, this is pure misplaced priorities
1. Comedian where did you get that Trump is a DEVOUT CHRISTIAN? Where biko?

2. So because Trump wasn't in attendance then every other person that was invited and attended Jas misplaced priorities? You see why some people insult the black race with inferiority complex. Maybe next time Tinubu should first check if Trump will be at the United Nations General Assembly before deciding to attend.

You are sentimental and therefore cannot see the big picture as I warned some, in 2022, that they too did not shun emotions and sentiments to discern.

Thinking that the North, at least her influential political leaders anyway, are behind disgruntled elements, like El Rufai, Malami and Hajiya Nàja'atu Mohammed etal, or desperate born-to-rule hawks, Atiku, Bala Mohammed and Tambuwal etal, is myopic and misguided.

This is Atiku and El Rufai etal v the South. Not North V South. Beyond men, who will die or fade into irrelevance like Buhari and OBJ, life must still go on for others.

All ambitious Northern politicians, with eyes on higher future office, will not make 'abobaku' sacrifice for Atiku and El Rufai's selfish desires when they have their own permanent interest to protect.

They are looking at their own future and ambitions and will not what puts that at risk.

For example, A Northern Governor in office currently who believes he has a chance to be President in 2031, when it will be the rightful slot of the North, will now put his his financial might and influence behind Atiku when doing that finishes his own ambition for 16 years i.e 8 years for Atiku and 8 years for the Southerner that will succeed him?

Is it not better for him to Tinubu to win in 2027 and then leverage on doing the President a favour in 2027 to be in a strong position to emerge as APC Northern Presidential candidate in 2031?

Thank you but I don't think this fellas have the capacity to grasp what you keep saying...naah they don't!

They are blinded by hate and deafened by sentiments that even when it stares them in the face and it's so loud, they will neither see nor hear.

I don't think you know him, except u want to mock yourself thinking you know him....
What has winning a court case got to do with showing leadership in holding a party of differing interests together? Was it also "not paying shishi" that made him port from APGA too?

How does your submission relate with this conversation abeg? What has "knowing* him got to do with anything?

From your last paragraph, is a waste of time journeying together with you over this matter...
Your major desire is to see loyalty given to whom it should be giving to without minding the consequences.....( This is the area am battling with you which to me smells of corruption and a retrogressive projection of a better society ...)

I would have loved a Nigerian where in such cases, we all should come out and Fabura, cut of this so called god fatherism that has yeilded this country nothing but more hunger and backwardness...

But each time I found out that the system that put the No 1 into the office and the system that made Rivers State to turn to APC State overnight because of Presidential election and the system that made Wike a Minister and the same system that made you to this whole system.....

Then I can't but shake my head in disbelief and in soberness because the same people who we feel want a better Nigeria is the same people who want the worst of Nigeria....

God fatherism ended in Anambra State.....why

Because the good people of Anambra State fought it with the then seating Governors, Dr Chris Ngige and Mr Peter Obi against the political godfathers that hijacked Anambra State then....

Today, there is nothing like God father in Anambra State...go and check the kind of development in Anambra State as of today....

I expect people like you who think they know politics too well by calling other naive to tell me the meaning of Politics in Nigeria if not catering for the well being of the Masses....

Tomorrow, you will come out asking for your State votes , promising heaven on earth but inside you, your heart is decayed to the bone marrow concerning the lights of your people ..

Your kind should be found among those that took the judgement of the Ghana country against their Political hawkers and vultures....

Nigeria can never get a breath of fresh air with souls like you either ing or being leaders of this country....read my lips...

A Political god son is not a slave, he has the right to change some things according to how good he wants to be to his people than telling him to remain a devil in the gathering of his people....

You better have a change of heart if you want a better Nigeria or we all see to the decay of Nigeria which is already DECAYING!!!!!!!!
Actually, our conversation ended after your last riposte, I only replied you out of pure courtesy. You just didn't know it.

You can bask all you want in your idealism but it doesn't change the facts on ground that confronts Fubara. Somewhere in your mind you have divorced this facts (this is the problem) and in your self righteousness see everyone who asks "oh how did we get here?" as "corrupt". Well-done Pharisee!

Interestingly, Fubara already told folks like you to SHUT UP but you are too blinded by infantile emotions to read the room! I hope you read his memo? Just incase you didn't, read here
( https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/8422691/creating-more-problems-me-fubara ) and don't forget to call him corrupt too for saying the same same thing I have been trying to drum in your ears!

I see you brought up Anambra and if you think "simply ing" the sitting Governor and in this case, where he is the architect of his misfortunes, this is the height naivety! How are the REALITIES of Anambra and Rivers same? How?

You see why I said you are politically naive and you should get off your high horse and smell the coffee like Fubara has?

You say a political son is not a slave! Unfortunately, in this case he is! Yes read that again! He is held by the jugular! Like really tight!

You obviously think life panders to your idealistic propensity. Mr. you are old enough to know that's not the case.

Don't come on Nairaland and pontificate self righteously about what should or shouldn't be obtained in Rivers State concerning this matter, go mobilize the people to " Fubara" so that you can magically have him back in the government house just cause you have a precedent in Anambra. (Don't make me laugh abeg)

I want a better Nigeria just like you and acknowledging hard cold facts of this particular matter or any other matter doesn't necessarily mean one s corruption and idealism wouldn't change facts either. So your pharisaic rhetoric on this matter is nothing but a cheap perfume on a decaying corpse.

I don free you, go play!
