The NNPC was buying the product at N300 less; they’re paying N300 more for the product they were importing than what they are buying from Dangote at N889.

There is nothing tricky in wat u said. They don't produce laptop in Nigeria... If a laptop was 1k usd last year, another version of that same laptop will still be 1k usd or higher (due to upgrade), ur naira does not come into consideration wen dollar is involved.
