hello bro please ill need a little advice on what to espect as i got a similar text message for test selection at NCMDB in Rivers state i currently reside in lagos and i want to know if it is legit, what should i use to study for the test and is it a paid training generally how can i prepare for the day do reply asap thank you.

The training is a paid training and a very legit one at that. N120k and above for degree and between 80k-90k for Ssce. The format of the test depend on the company. Some use GMAT with numerical, verbal, abstract reasoning questions. Just make sure u that test, the best is yet to come to u after the training. The courses u will be sent for alone, are courses that are very expensive.

I got an email, then a call from Dorman Long Engineering Co that I have been shortlisted for an interview for NCDMB Training. Please Nairalanders what's your say on this. Anyone who knows how beneficial this training is? I have a small job that only puts food on my table and my company's contract with Nigerian Breweries is expiring next year. I just hope this training is not one of those "white elephant training." Please advise me.

It can be difficult combining your Job and the training, as people from the monitoring board (NCDMB) and the Operator Company do come for inspection time to time unannounced. No it's not guaranteed. It's usually based on need. If after the training there's a slot, then you're likely to be retained on a permanent basis.
I'm currently a beneficiary of the training in 2017 with an oil and Gas servicing firm and was lucky to be retained after the training, because there was a vacancy.
