I got an email, then a call from Dorman Long Engineering Co that I have been shortlisted for an interview for NCDMB Training. Please Nairalanders what's your say on this. Anyone who knows how beneficial this training is? I have a small job that only puts food on my table and my company's contract with Nigerian Breweries is expiring next year. I just hope this training is not one of those "white elephant training." Please advise me.

The training differs from one another. Mine was on project and quality assurance for N120,000 monthly, N1,000 and 2 meals. The training was to be for 1 year

What abt accommodation cos they made mention of it during the interview stage to us, and yours is it in Lag?

Interviews are based on the interviewer's perspective of what life or work is. So if you speak the truth is fifty-fifty. If you don't it's still fifty-fifty

Apply again bro, NCDMB gives candidates 3 opportinities as they said. But u shouldn't have made that mistake.The company u mentioned that was outsourced to train you guys is an Engineering firm their is no way they will teach something so abstract from Engineering you shouldn't have told them u are not cut out for non Engineering roles . Plus I believe Interviews is abt telling the Interviewer what he wants to hear confidently. You can reject the job afterwards but always strive to get it it boosts confidence atleast.
