That is why I said I give up.

It actually makes no sense. It’s 3 weeks now. Someone was telling me they held on to her husband’s port for 7 weeks after an original port request. I don’t know again. I’m jut tired. And the fact that they don’t respond to my emails. I’m very tempted to go to the embassy tomorrow because at this point it’s kidnap of port (lol).

which embassy email did you send your email to?was it [email protected]; am surprise they are not replying. you do not need to go to the embassy because you wont be attended to, only people with appointment are attended to

Now I’m scared submitted 3 months statement of acct (US dollar acct )where we just saved up money purposely for the trip tho this was stated on the LOE. Please has anyone done this before

I’ve checked various forums and people who submitted after me have received their ports. If my port is missing then maybe they should let me know and return it with a Canadian one! IM TIRED!

Does your CIC portal still not have a counterfoil?

If it doesn't it means its still with the embassy if you know for sure it got delivered to them in the first place.

I'd go to the embassy and just say you believe your port has been lost in transit but you want to be sure it's not still with them before you file a police report, that should get them to at least give you a concrete answer

Final approval and Update of Visa on my -27/05/2019. port to be picked up tomorrow.

(1)My Cac documents
(2) Reference letter , bank statement and investment certificate from my banks
(3) Hotel reservation

Bro. These guys don't really care about some of these documents. I will appreciate if these guys sharing testimonies let us know what valid visas they currently have on their ports. So if I that I have only visited South Africa and Dubai submit same set of documents with someone with a valid U.S or U.K visa, he might be approved while I might be denied.

Don’t forget there’s CAN+

If you visited canada or US and left in the last 10years (or maybe 5 I forget now) , officers are meant to process your port quickly and also apply little scrutiny . In fact you don’t have to show any financial statements

Thanks to everyone contributing on this forum. I read through and gained a lot of insight before applying for our visa.

I got to find out that if you apply via the paper route, your application goes to Kenya for review and if you go via the online route your application goes to the UK for review. From my own observations I don’t think the folks in Kenya know their job because after our 1st refusal using the paper route, we reapplied online and used the exact documents and we were granted the visa.

So, if you have been refused visa via the paper route I think you should re apply online.

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED

My company registration Docs.
Letters from business partners with who I have on-going projects with (they just gave details of our on-going projects).
Marriage certificate.
Flight ticket (booking only).
Hotel Reservations (booking.com).
House rental agreement.
Cars proof of ownership document.
Proof of Investment.
Invitation letter from my aunty + her PR & proof of employment in Canada.
Company ID card.
My wife’s proof of employment.
Bank statement + Reference letter from bank stating I am the sole signatory to the
A very Detailed Cover Letter that included the following:
-Introduction
-Work(explained my business)
-Reason for trip
-Planned itinerary (places we plan to visit in Toronto with dates)
-Source of funds (I stated I was sponsoring the trip and that I also operate my company bank for both business and personal needs)
-Trip expenditure breakdown (this included flights cost, Hotel cost and Money in hand. The total of this must be available in your bank statement with a healthy amount left so they don’t think you’re going to spend your entire bank balance on one trip. Also Try and get the cheapest hotel and flight . For a 10 day stay we put a total of CDN $4000 as money in hand)
-Proof of my Travel history (US, Dubai, Egypt, South Africa, Seychelles)

Be truthful with any previous visa refusals.
Also make sure you double check all your answers on the online portal.

Las las Congratulation I told u to cool down Canada don't like doing things rush rush they already approve ur visa patient is the key .. You said u want to go to Canada next week as my new business venture starts in June and u need the break! Share the documents
