Fourth choice was Calabar. I'm really hoping for Lagos though .
I think calabar is a good state . I've heard several good reviews about it. They treat their corpers right, cost and standard of living is okay and its an interesting place.
I'm crossing my fingers sha and you're right, you may not necessarily be posted to any of the states you selected. This was even posted on their website.

I lost my school ID card when my wallet got stolen. I have gone through all the arduous process of getting it back but my school said they don't have the materials to print another ID card till school resumes next year. Abeg will this affect me at the camp ?? And it will, what can I do ??

Even if they employ the pentagon security to NYSC deployment, bro we are in Nigeria!!! people would still work their way to their state of choice...

1. He should ensure he rubs the thumbs for some number of times. This will allow more blood rush over to his thumb area. This works.
2. He should try thumbprinting as early as possible. Say 6:00am-7:00am. There's less congestion on the server as of that moment.

However, if symptoms persists... He sure has issues with his thumbs then.

Did he ever have an injury on both thumbs in the past? Maybe a burn or anything similar? These might be some of the reasons. On the other hand, he could try to apply any lotion (just a little, even Vaseline would do) to moisten the thumbs at the point of registration and then try again. It really works.

Bro, you're taking this too far. I saw your post which was the genesis of all this and that was very very unnecessary. I mean if we can't find subtle ways to correct people without insulting them directly or indirectly (if at all we need to even correct every error we see), then we might as well quietly mind our business. Some guy "MISTAKINGLY" posted "soak" instead of "socks" or "stockings". That could have been the result of quick typing and/or autocorrect.
Any intelligent person would know what he actually intended writing. You should have simply corrected him in a friendly manner or quietly ignored the error. Everyone makes errors, even first class students EXCEPT GOD WHO IS PERFECT! But you quoted him by writing..."soak. Graduate indeed!". That's an insult, bro. Thank God he has gotten his call-up number. It's really weird that he still hasn't been able to thumbprint but got past that stage to the other steps to finish his registration though. Did he try different scanners on different laptops? Maybe he can try calling NYSC helplines to explain the issue and ask them if this is going to pose any threat to his registration in camp.
