There's a question i ask people.

Who is really happy about the death of Audu?

FALEKE OR WADA?
tempest01(m): 7:54pm On Nov 26, 2015
I've said it many times...inec should go to the election with the dead man on the ballot paper...anything else calls for litigation

Area come scatter be dat/things fall apart.
Alphaoscar:
I said it that their will be lots of litigations on this issue and at the end of the day both the APC planned primary and the scheduled DEC 5 supplementary election may not hold.

Wada is already in court

Yahaya bello is in court

Faleke is in court

Audu's son will soon be in court

PDP will go to court

APC will go to court

Every living soul in Kogi will go to court on this matter.

The death of Audu the Apc candidate exposes a huge lacuna in our Constitution

You begin to wonder how the Court would interpret the law when they themselve (court) would fall back on the constitution for guidance.
I don't know why you guys are lamenting now. Under bubu the court has not done anything according to law.
Nnamdi Kanu came to mind.

What a nice development,Bello and Audu's son should go and sit down or fight for the post of the deputy Gov.When u look at this very issue with an umbiased mind,U'll know Faleke is the best person to replace Audu whether he is from the minority group or religion,it shouln't affect this very issue at this point in time.

Getting more ludicrous.
The supreme Court will ultimately decide it seems.
It's part of our political growth.
The Constitution it seems didn't recognize I'll health or eventuality of death.
It does. But in this case where the election was declared inconclusive, the Supreme Court would have to interprete the law with its discretion.

Trust me we will soon read a counter press release denying he ever sent this letter

times is a very credible platform. Am very sure they won't publish the story if it is false. Beside, there is nothing bad in the letter to warrant a denial from him. This is what most of us expected from him. And again, the letter was written by his counsel, Wole Olanipekun. Am very sure times won't drop the name of olanipekun if they are not 100% sure of the authenticity of the letter.

Good to see that Hon. Faleke has decided to fight for what rightfully belongs to him. Any attempt to bring in another candidate at this point in time will not only be illegal, but unjust and immoral. We must learn to do things right all the time no matter the situation or circumstance. APC leadership better be properly guided.
story story who on earth go green? Where was he bfor primary? Do u think he can win d remain vote if nt for Audu? He should stop thinking kogi politics is lik lagos own
Charly68: 8:02pm On Nov 26, 2015
Olanipekun the law ! What a legal instinct & logic, the vote has been cast, counted & declared in favour of Audu/Faleke ticket so it is logically wrong & ethically foolish for another person to be brought in by the party to come & reap where he did not labour. Suppreme court here we come. Lawyers are indeed very learned . .but we shall wait for other sound view of other legal luminaries ..This scenario will be a good case study in our legal system.

How can he become the governor, when they haven't been sworn in before his demise.

They may not necessarily be sworn in as in the case of Atiku/Haruna. Hadn't been they've been declared the winners of the poll, his argument would have been right.
aldame: 8:08pm On Nov 26, 2015
The minority in the state will hold house and the executive (Speaker & deputy, and the governor). Soon they will be another problem because they will ask the speaker to resign to balance the equation and of course he will refuse. in 2019, PDP will use that to campaign and the state will go back to PDP.

We are talking about law here and not emotions. Fact is, situation and circumstances have thrown him up. We can't deny him what legally belongs to him.

The action of AGF Malami was deliberate. He is trying to please some nincompoops that believe they own Kogi state more that other Kogites.
my thoughts exactly. as it stands, we will start to experience injunctions just to delay the process. I can't fault Inec decision because they can't go to the Supreme court without the consent of the AGF.
