What is special about LiFePO4 batteries that we all must not use?

Did you not read the part of my post where I mentioned I can handle batteries? I have built other battery types that are even more complex than LiFePO4 and I don't see any big deal in doing same thing with lithium

Na tubular ambassador, no worry.

Meanwhile, I think Sako just thought outside the box of!

Stumbled on this power bank that Sako has. It uses a single 280ah LFP cells!

I have feeling the price will be dearth cheap. 😊

Hithium HeroE1 use 1 units of 314AH Hithium battery thats is why its rated 1kwh 314A x 3.2V.

Shege promax.. my inverter is still with Sygnite.
I can't shout jare. i am guessing they have a batch with some defects.

Deye would rather not work than to work and blow up.

as a pro, can you grade like 5 inverters from high to low?

Which is a better option?

650W Jinko Solar

Or

650W Bifacial Solar (Used don't the brand)

I was told Bifacial s tend to capture more power.

Not sure if Jinko Has Bifacial s

I am a Novice
A lot of us don't need Bifacial Solar , especially when it even costs more per watts

Major reason I try as much as possible to avoid going for repairs. I recall when I said something against sachet inverters, and some One / people argued that the parts are readily available and could easily be fixed. Me just dey look dem. People wey don go through stress of finding technician, then they charge you high, still give you time to collect which by the Day and Time you go for collection, you're told one story or the other; and you fit go there like multiple times before frustration go take over. No one tells you such, but all sweet talk till you experience it.

By the time you add cost of transportation, cost of repairs (depending on how many times you repair it), + other stress, and costs, no be to kukuma buy better product even if na Tokunbo or 2nd Hand.

rarely do I even listen to all the Warrantes and Guarantees.

Major reason the moment I know a couple of (average) quality ones, I stick with them. Client wey complain of costs, or chooses to shop for themselves, me no go even argue, I go just bill you for installation; unlike those wey go dey vex say you go buy your things yourself.

You guys are funny. See eh, No one is saying Lithium batteries are good or bad. Just that you guys portray it as flawless, and other battery chemistry are nothing but rubbish.

See eh, same way Lithium batteries got it's strong and weak point, so does other battery chemistry.

Also, Lithium battery is expensive, more expensive than others hence lots of people try looking for cheaper lithium batteries. To such people, I tell them you're better off with a quality Lead Acid battery, than a low quality Lithium battery. of course it's understandable when those who only sell Lithium batteries, or makes more profit selling Lithium batteries get worked up. No be ma fault say I fit afford internet subscription.

You mean COUPLE / Assemble or actually BUILT one from scratch ?

Mind you, I've done both but only for Lead Acid batteries. yea ordered thick plates, and all the other stuffs and was so rugged. For lithium batteries, only coupled a few times.

Now what I actually meant when I responded to your comment was - to Couple a lithium battery, you need Lithium ion cells (more than 1 Cell makes up a battery), and to have / couple a quality Lithium battery, you need quality Lithium cells. hence if you looking for cheap Lithium ion cells in other to couple a quality Lithium battery pack, then be ready for disappointment.

No vex you hear, atimes I am in here stressed out or serious and it reflects in how I respond. A times I read, and move on, at other times, I try to be everywhere. No worry, all of us must not have sense or matured you hear.

MorningStar and Deye actually are on the expensive side for a lot of us. Something like epEver is much cheaper and has high quality.
Mind you, cost of a small used ePever charge Controller is a lot higher than a brand new high amperage and voltage charge controller from all the funny names out there.

Not mounted vertically, but rather with space underneath, ideally over a reflective surface, to capture reflected sunlight on the rear side of the .

The tilt angle should be around 10° to 40°, depending on the region of the country.

Mounting it on a roof wastes the bifacial power gain and unnecessarily burdens your roof with more weight, as it is heavier than an equivalent conventional monofacial PV .
Even when well mounted, don't think the GAINs is worth the extra price

Most bifacial sold is the same price or cheaper than conventional PV. I haven't seen any with prices higher than conventional PV, yet, of the same capacity.

Epever inverters ain't cheap o. In fact in China the price difference between Deye 5kw and Epever 5kw is less than $120

Don't buy lead acid battery in 2025, especially when you have plans to run inductive loads such as AC.

That's all I have to say here.

Terrible quote.

For one, we do not recommend tubular batteries on this thread anymore.

- Switch that inverter to a 5KW 48v one. Buy from Growatt or SRNE or Felicity. Same price.

- Buy a 5kwh 48v Lithium battery. You can buy from Valto here, or Deriy, or talk to Dam5reey1. Same price or even cheaper than what you've been quoted.

- Buy six 620w Jinko s from Fouani. 830k.

Solar cable you need is 6mm and they don't cost more than 4k per yard. That's 80k. Also no need for a battery rack with a lithium battery.

Buy all of these yourself. Let the installer buy the other accessories and you pay for installation. You should save yourself about 150k doing this and you'd have a significantly better setup.

Your perceptions are usually weird.
So because some batches probably have factory defect, that makes them comparable to tokunbo or used with up to 50-50 chances?

2 years plus still serving me well. Also the reason why I haven’t seen the need to upgrade lithium batteries cos anybody buying used tubular batteries will buy as scrap. I have enough solar s to cover for the load so I don’t see how it’s a problem for the batteries.

So as you clearly it, it's your s carrying your AC and not your battery which means you inadvertently made a misleading comparison to the original case where no s were used; and that's why everyone is assuming you've killed your batteries.

It's fine though and as you've also pointed out you are thinking about going lithium.....and if you could prove that your LA batteries are in top condition, you are still likely to get higher than scrap value for them since you have maintained them so well.

i went to their office myself and checked out both haisic and bread. I'm beating my chest and telling you that bread is a better inverter. Better mppt specs, 60a against 100a, better pv voltage range

Single cooling fan and air vent on haisic against dual cooling fan and 2 air vents on each side on the bread. (This alone means better performance)

I held both on my hands.

Do they have after sale service?
