This project is Nigeria's best housing project .. till date no single housing project sures it...

In building festac, the contractor took care of walk lanes which are far away from the road . He took care of central drainage and sewage system, he took care of central lighting cables and electric light up system.... He took care of the need for okay ground in every close..

He made sure no single Avenue is for the higher class exclusively as there is always a block and flat near in every close .. talk about the natural environment, he made sure u could trek the whole festac without being under the sun...

Believe me.. no other housing estate is better planned than festac... No nother!

U can challenge me

LASG should serve all the home owners in FESTAC quit notice and then embark on massive demolition of the entire area.. the rubbish there now wasn't what FG intended it for..
Most of the buildings in FESTAC now are illegal structures outside the original master plan.

Eko wake up..

So if Lagos can get it as u said, and after building what will be your own personal benefit?,
What happens to welfare of the masses, greedy Lagos government that will share it to their associates, eko p

Nigerians wake up, the primary responsibility of any government is security and welfare of the people, government no be business enterprise make una no let politicians deceive una , even USA takes care of the welfare of it's citizens.

I thought they said tinubu built Lagos? …clowns
stop displaying foolery online by believing a single individual can build Lagos talk less of Tinubu.meaning you ve never been to Lagos before sef .

Tinubu did not do anything for Lagos and they know it. 50% of Lagos State was built bt FG, 25% by non-indegenes & businesses while the remaining 25% by pa Lateef jakande(the greatest governor of all time in both Lagos & south-west). The only thing tinubu did in Lagos was to transform it from a welfare state to capitalist one in order to loot and steal as much as possible. Lateef jakande built LASU, & LASUTh, built low cost housing estates all over Lagos ( about a million housing units) and he did all this in just 4 years. You know why he invested in the development of Lagos? Because he was an indegene

Lateef jakande an indigene

Hypocrisy. When it's doing well, it's because of former FCT and non indigenes. When it's bad, it's the Lagos Tinubu built. God surely rewards hypocisy. We've seen it time and again.

I know arguing with you is about the most ridiculous thing to do but make I whine you small sha.
So you mean non-indigenes built Lagos even more than the most-performing Governor (according to you) the State has ever had? grin
About the percentage you posted, can you this with credible data or it’s just una regular iwa werey claims? Intelligent persons and people back up their claims with valid proofs and not just argue blindly.
Can you show us the structures erected by these so called non-indigenous developers? or are these developments invisible?
At least, tell us who they are and show us the exact things they built that’s still standing today and that the successive past Governors of the state couldn’t build.
Fine, Pa Jakande and not Tinubu developed Lagos. We are good since he’s another Yoruba man😂
I know you are going to resort to insults but let’s hope you won’t report us when we start treating you like what you are grin

You are diverting! Tell us what tinubu did in Lagos... no insults just for knowledge sake. He did Lawma sha, I will give him that. Also Ndubuidi Nkannu (igbo man) was military of Lagos state, he modernized Ikeja.

The Head of State General Yakubu Gowon pays an unscheduled visit to Festac Town, Lagos, Nigeria. This was 51 years ago on the 21st of December 1974, some days to Christmas.

General Yakubu Gowon arrives in his official Mercedes Benz state car escorted by Police outriders and of the Nigeria Army guards brigade to inspect ongoing construction at Festac Town.

Which of the location in this photo do you know?
Those are apartments between the First Avenue to the 22 Road area of Festac Town from an aerial view.

As of 1981/1982 houses were still being constructed by the FHA such as the duplexes on the 5th Avenue.
I know these because I was there right within the well-planned, European-styled residential estate.

Diverting? How?
Okay, I will list some of his achievements and how he modernized Lagos state.
Even though I know this is nothing but a big waste of time because you all know he did all these things I’m about to list but still lie that he did nothing as governor. Not liking someone is a natural thing but it becomes annoying and evil when you start lying on his persona.
1. He created the LWC, LAWMA, LWC, LASEPA, LASECA in his efforts to make Lagos cleaner and conducive. Before the creation of these agencies, Lagos was notorious for being dirty, dangerous and very disorderly (traffic)

2. He created the RRS which is arguably the most professional police unit in the whole of Nigeria. You will never find them in messy controversies.
3. Creation of more LCDA’s to ensure that governance reached the grassroots at a time when other governors refused to conduct local government elections for the betterment of the people at the grassroots and in fact, this singular kind gesture caused him a whole lot of trouble.
4. In the area of economy, being an astute economist who has always been income-generation- driving, the IGR of Lagos saw a massive boost (I don’t like quoting figures but you can fact-check me)
5. He revamped the Lagos State health care system (you can fact-check this too)
6. Lastly, go and read more about the Tinubu-PPP initiative and you will be vowed.
The lekki free trade zone that houses the Dangote refinery today is a brainchild and vision of Mr President.
BRT schemes
The lekki concession company
Eko Atlantic
Prior to the time he became governor, ask real Lagosians to tell you the danger posed by the ocean before it was contained.
You would notice I didn’t mention that he created schools and constructed roads and hospitals, yes, that was very intentional because they are mediocre things that shouldn’t be celebrated in this age and time. I want governors with visions. Governors who create value-based policies and agencies aimed at improving the lives and living conditions and standards of the masses. I want governors who create and build legacies that live on and on even after they are gone.

I can keep going on and on but it’s all a waste of time and energy because you are hellbent on hating on a man who has been blessed.
Also according to you, so you mean Ndubuidi Nkannu’s modernization of Ikeja (as claimed) contributed 25% development to Lagos while the the best governor (Pa lateef and according to you) contributed only 5% development?😂
Una matter ehn. Can you please list out this Ndubuidi’s legacy that’s still standing today just the same way I just listed Tinubu’s own at your request? No insults, I want to learn
