Olachase: The moment Dangote increases price abnormally, importers will flood the market with cheaper fuel. Therefore, free market economics will always ensure that the price is fair and the crap you posted can’t happen 5 Likes |

Image123: And they never thought for once to build their own modular refineries at whatever capacity even if it is 20,000 Barrels per day in the 7 coastal states for easy access to the crude oil and thereafter distribute to other parts of the nation They were only interested in milking Nigerians dead. Now a visionary and an innovator has taught them a lesson and they are crying all over the place. 1 Like 1 Share |

Most private depots are bleeding seriously, and if care isn't taking they will fold up and people will loose thier jobs. Dangote having loading gantry was the deal breaker. Most northerns will rather load from Dangote than other depot. I thought dangote would just refine and sell to depots but having its own loading gantry just killed most depots. It's those modular refineries I pity most. They dead.

9jatriot: God will bless you for this comment! I hate it when people keep complaining without making the move to challenge the status quo. IPMAN should build their own refineries and crash the prices beyond what Dangote is offering. Sitting in one place to make the kind of complain you weren't making when the whole thing was favoring you will not change anything! Even the Dangote fuel is still overpriced and we all know but for now, it's the only refinery we have and we are bound to buy at whatever price he offers. Peace! 2 Likes 1 Share |

dele1727: You may not be far from the truth, what is happening in the cement business is an eye opener. I hope government will not allow him to go that way. But I like what he is doing now on this fuel issue. |

IPMAN should go and build their own refinery. They were importing petrol into Nigeria, thereby creating job for citizens of other countries. Petrol importation is also mounting pressure on Naira. I thought they were importing to make the price to be cheap for Nigerian masses? Why then are they complaining when Dangote is doing exactly what they wanted? Bunch of hypocrites.

dele1727:Not really. If Dangote raise prices then it becomes economical viable to import then the petrol importers who are actually selfish and unpatriotic will seize the chance. |

Imagine the negative mindset towards price reduction. Price was reduced and IPMAN are saying marketers will loss 15- 20 naira. These prices were reduced because of certain factors and not just like that. Wicked people too full nigeria abeg

dele1727: This is the truth behind the price war..... The most unfortunate issue here is, the insincerity of the people that are saddled with the responsibility of revamping the moribund Nigerian refineries who sold their conscience for thirty pieces of silver to keep it in a perpetual state comatose. |
HisXLNC1: 8:44am On May 23 |
victorDanladi:All this na English. Wetin stop IPMAN from having a refinery that's near completion by now? Dangote has invested in building his refinery...and has employed Nigerians in the process. How many people get employed in importation of products we can produce? As far as am concerned IPMAN is not a competitivor to Dangote. They are just a pressure group. The only way they can be seen to be in competition with Dangote is when they build a refinery that can really compete with Dangote's. That is what you call competition. Not by buying a product from Dangote's competitors abroad and adding a markup to make profit. IPMAN is just what it is.. a union of MARKETERS. 1 Like |
