Tinubu and his APC propaganda. All this fake statistics so that the North will vote him in 2027. We won't vote Tinubu in 2027. Even if he allocate the entire students loan to the North
You just opened my eyes to that aspect.

This may be one of their campaign strategies for 2027.

So many lies will be told, and so many gullible Nigerians will fall for them.

Imagine Borno that has Boko Haram headquarters there having over 40k applicants

Quit with the useless pontification... EVERY Northerner that took that loan is 100% sure not to repay and nothing would happen... Rest assured any Southerner that defaults in repayment would be hounded to jail. It is not the same thing

Failure to pay can't lead to jail.

You only start paying back once you have been employed for at least 2 years. You dont have to pay back during any period when you are unemployed. Even when you have a job, the amount you pay back per month is a small fraction of your salary.

In addition to the government paying your school fees directly to your university (the loan), there is also N20,000 per month FREE cash transfer to each NELFUND recipient. This is entirely free, the student doesn't have to pay back, and it is paid into the student's bank every month of the year whether or not they are on holiday.

As a result of this initiative, the days of students from poor backgrounds not being able to go to university because their parents can't afford it are now gone.

This is one of the most impactful initiatives of any Nigerian government of the last 20 to 30 years.

But as usual, many Nigerians from the South turn their noses up at this wonderful program.

Well done to Northerners.

Let the Southerners waste their time on social media criticising government every minute, every hour of the day.

There are so many useful government initiatives that Southerners simply refuse to key into.

Every government policy initiative that is announced, they immediately dismiss it as 'na scam', or 'na propaganda'.

Northerners just key in and take advantage without doubting. Well done to them.

I read the news about Emefiele's seized 750 houses on nairaland this evening, and noticed the Minister of Housing mentioned 'Renewed Hope Homes'. Just out of curiosity, I searched it on google, and Lo and behold there are actually new homes being constructed in several states which are already available for sale for cash, or with a government loan of just 7%!. Compare that to a commercial bank mortgage that is more than 30%.

The website functions excellently and prices are much cheaper than the equivalent houses in the open market.

Yet, most Southerners, (including me until today) are not aware of these opportunities.

Where is the website

Post it for me to see

South East is marginalized.

Or maybe they don’t breed like rabbits, the way the other majorities do.
