Putindbutt:Oga you people should Stop this Childish comparisms of SE Yorubas and Lagos Igbos; How many are Yorubas in the entire Igboland? Not up to 00.2% of the RESIDENT Population (SouthEasterners at home are about 38 million) But Igbos in Lagos are not less than 40% of the entire Lagos Population!!And at Ojo LG, They are about 58% of the Population. So where do Yorubas Gather the numerical strength for Political negotiations in the SE Then how much are Yorubas contributing in Tax revenues in the SE(with the Yorubas Population of less than 00.2% in the SE) But Igbos Contribute 65% of Tax revenues in the Lagos state IGR!!! So where do the Yorubas Gather the Economic strength for Political negotiations in Igboland?? I can go on and on.... So any time You and your likes wants to agitate for Political and Economic RECIPROCITY for Yorubas in SE always this differences in Circumstances... Lagos was...and in fact still is...the CAPITAL of Nigeria even before all of us where born.Hence it's Special status as Nigeria's cultural melting pot.SE was not. Stop using an ill-thought out excuse of RECIPROCITY as reasons other Nigerian's should not enjoy their constitutionally guaranteed rights at their states of origin. You no go school? 4 Likes |

Despite all this, they tooks us as enemies and disrespect our land and heritage by calling it no manās land. And you expect there wont be consequences? And by the way mention where such privilege have ever been extended to other ethnic nationalities in your region? Even amongst yourself you discriminate with your Osu caste nonsense and some yeebos like Anambala see themselves superior to ebonyi and Enugu ![]() And we could when bianca wanted to contest for senatorial sit in anambala, her husband home state, she was rejected and ask to go to her state in Enugu, yet you hypocrite think you have the moral right to question what the people want? koning: Because itās none of your business. Thatās part of the problem, trying to tell another man how to manage his household. Itās like a stranger telling me how to treat my cousin or relative, do you know my family history? How is it your business? Imagine the audacity! Yoruba are one family, we all descendants of Oduduwa. Ibos donāt know where they come from. One thing for certain. Ibos are not Yorubas and canāt tell Yorubas how we manage our affairs. We donāt tell you how to manage your affairs or question why You rejected Bianca because she is not from Anambra! This is exactly why we donāt want you in charge of our affairs, you donāt understand our history or respect our traditions and you want to divide our people like you divide yours! You. Donāt respect your hosts or their traditions and culture. You always try to impose your ways on others, you are naturally divisive. No thank you! And by the way people not familiar with history confuse ācolonial Lagosā with Lagos state! The local government in question for instance was never historically part of Lagos, Ajah, ikorodu, Epe Isolo, Ikeja, and many of places that Lagos state are not historically Lagos. Places like Lekki, Ajah, Ikorodu and Epe are ijebu people. Abule Egba is so called because it is a historical settlement of Egba people. Abule ijesha is a settlement of people from ilesha. The people of Ketu are yoruba migrants from Ife. Even the awori from Lagos island are from Ife and Old Oyo empire. So when an ignorant buffoooon comes here to say why is a man from Ondo or Ekiti allowed, that ignorance is why we donāt want them in charge of our business! 11 Likes 2 Shares |

oladipupo2234: Yoruba are not waking up over imminent threats in yoruba forests, displacing farmers and villages from their ancestral homes right in the hinterland. Herds men encroachment and destruction of farm products by cattles, costing farmers millions annually. The Fulanis or foreign invaders are mas in our forest, and your lot don't see them as threat. Continue concentrating your energy on igbos. It may not make any sense to you, but I can tell you that the real threat are right in the forest preparing for an assault. Let's continue to play this politics of bitterness and tribalism, for it is going to make Nigeria, great. 3 Likes |

You didn't see hate when you read that for over 15 years, the vice Chairmanship slot has been reserved for Igbos only. What you don't allow others in your clime, you expect to receive elsewhere. Bwanasaraw: Let me state it clearly here ..I have mingled with so many igbos ...they don't joke with there independence. They don't believe leadership is someone's birth right .. They believe in fairness and justice. Even if a prominent igbo man tell them to vote a particular candidate...they will tell him that they have freedom to vote whosrver they wanna vote for . The last time I checked igbos have been law abiding ...paying taxes ...paying rent , paying all manners of levies ...Tell me one thing igbos got for free in your region? I have no problem how you want to he governed but also understand that every igbo man has right to choose a particular yoruba man he feels like voting for . You cannot discriminate amongst your fellow yoruba . In the estate where I live a certain igbo man was made the chairman ...within 2years of being in office...he has transformed the estate ... He will speak to his fellow igbo millionaires in a language they understand and they will donate millions for the development of the estate . One day I asked one yoruba nebor why he didn't accept being the chairman since is a yoruba land....he told me those fighting against any tribe are naive ...that ever since yoruba had been chairman ...that I shoukd tell him what they achieved ...that even a sit for community meet they couldn't afford. He listed the achievement if the new chairman as follows 1. We use to have water mixed with fuel ...The new chairman called specialist to dig a central borehole that connected to every house in the estate 2.He retied the damaged area of the entrance road leading to our community 3.instalation of street light 4 .installation of cctv cameras 5.buikding of community meeting place.. 6.renovation of our entrance gate and security post Finally , he got well equipped security guard ... All this he was able to achieve with 2years . This is a yoruba man testifying to the good work ab igbo man is doing . Allowing igbos to be in position in lagos state is a win win situation cos it will help generate more revenue to the state. Igbos will have a sense of belonging ...this will enable them.put in 100percent interns of development .For instance if an igbo man is not paying tax ...his fellow igbo man in position will talk to them via there community meeting ...this can change things for good ...If all you care for is to milk them ...dictate whom.tjey vote for during election....destroy there properties when they refuse to dance to your tune...then you are being unfair ...and there is limit you can.push a people ..For your information there are yorubas in igbo land doing business...there are hausa in igbo land doing business ...I believe people shoukd live as one ...In the next 100 years some of us might not be alive to ve dragging who is the owner of lagos ..make meaningful impact wherever you are 5 Likes |
