Most people just hear phrases in the Bible and think they fit in simply because it's spoken by God's servants.

When a person becomes a BORN AGAIN Christian he or she can't get married again unless that happened before the anointing.

WHY

Everything in the brain of a born again is about heavenly life where people don't acquire material possessions, married or have kids, all they keep thinking about is how to complete their earthly mission and Christ in heaven.

That's why Jesus stopped everything he was doing before his baptism, before then he learned carpentry from his foster father Joseph and so he practiced carpentry as a profession before his baptism but from that moment he never returned again!

So most people don't know the meaning of that term "BORN AGAIN" whatever you've been doing before that day ends and you start a new life spending 80-90% of your time preaching and teaching about God's Kingdom.

In this day and age, the born again person would likely have a baptimal certificate showing the date they were baptised. Being born again is from water and holy spirit = baptism. This is clearly taught in John 3:5 and affirmed by early Church Fathers like Justin Martyr and Irenaeus and still carries on to date in Catholic, Orthodox and even Lutheran churches. Evangelicals changed the meaning of being born again - this is a later development.

I don't know when I got born again but I grew up with parents who didn't attend churches but you dare not stay at home on Sundays without going to the church or you will be a dead man. I started reading Gedeon bible in JSS, I must have given my life to God in JSS2 cos I learnt to reject evil at JSS, I rejected anything Ido from primary school and hated it. I know I would confess the salvation message but don't know when I got born again. I am sure I was born again very early, I later confessed the salvation message just incase I wasn't born again as an adult. Sin is not appealing to me anymore, Hallelujah the Holy Spirit does minister to me that I am a child of God.

Will it add any spiritual value to their christian life and living?
When you hear someone's salvation testimony does that mean that person is living right or backslided?
Is it a proof that such person will be raptured when Christ Jesus comes?

This isnt a new debate and the church has already dealt with this for centuries. It is Faith plus works when the whole bible is read in context not by plucking verses here and there to justify the protestant doctrine of sola fide!.

By quoting Romans 10:8-17 you can't go against Jesus' words in John 3: 5 or Peter words, 'baptism now saves you" in 1 Peter 3:21. Please also see James 2 24 - “You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone”

So, the apotolic Churches believe the teaching about faith in Christ but also emphasise that faith must be expressed through actions and obedience such as baptism.

I'm just curious—what does a specific date have to do with your salvation? Will you really be asked on Judgment Day for the date?
