the viral Iniubong Umoren murdered by a guy who tried to molest her while job-seeking in 2021? The guy was been convicted in 2022.

Natasha tried to recruit the deceased girl's elder sister to accuse Akpabio of heading an organ harvesting ring which the deceased fell victim to. The courts and independent bodies already vetted autopsies confirming her organs weren't harvested and her exhuming was captured on video to show her parts intact.

The deceased girl's sister had to do a press release yesterday to counter claims by Natasha Iniubong was murdered for her organs: https://www.facebook.com/100005347028813/posts/pfbid0gzrZcBDJUPtBDxRJPnTHmGDPaqcs29RJTwNayAWHjrGvwr51UgqakzvhKeTg4ndAl/ .

This is the woman you lots are defending?
Other than the girl making these claims, is there any proof that Natasha ed her, and for the matter in question?

We already have that Prof in the US that claimed she didn't know Akpabio, only for it to be discovered that Akpabio was in her DMs. Is it possible this is another of such situations?

Natasha has always famzed BAT, it's why she came to the Edo election and was shouting about making Edo Lagos.

It wasn't APC vs opposition for a lot of persons, it was more a demand for transparency in her issues with Akpabio.

I believe she's not taking the case seriously enough though. With the way she's going, one of these days it's highly likely she'll come out and say she has dropped the case or they've settled out of court.
If she continues playing with this case I'll never defend a Nigerian woman again in this lifetime. Walahi, Everytime you a Nigerian woman that accuse someone of rape or sexual harassment, they always end up making you look like a joke and regretting your actions.

Defending a woman who accused someone of rape is not the issue.

The issue is defending someone who is well known, not with rumours, but facts that she is a manipulative liar.

When you guys are done defending, una go see Akpabio and Akpotieri hug themselves for public

Question - How do we raise our kids to have aptitude for mathematics?

I believe it's the bedrock and foundation for STEM courses and would want my kids to do STEMs.

Me, I was average in it and wifey though a first class & distinction graduate read sociology.

Though its early days, my 6-year old in Basic 2 is already showing a dislike for it and grumbles whenever its time to do Maths home work.

My son is the exact opposite of yours and I was recently having this conversation with a friend.

He is extremely good with numbers, spatial reasoning and numeracy.

Many times when he does his home work, we will be looking at those diagrams together and before me who is an adult figures it out, my 6 year old son knows what to do. He has never scored below 100 in any numercy exam. Whether it is maths or quantitative reasoning.

When it comes to verbal, he just leaves it and waits for me to tell him what to do.

I wonder why he can't just transfer the math skills to verbal.

The worst place u can find Ur self in the Nigerian labor market is to be a contract staff in a bank. If u are not careful, Ur low self esteem will die a painful death.

The maximum anybody should spend doing contract job in banks is 2 years at most ; to gather experience and bounce. If not, Ur junior in secondary school will.come and pour u spit for that work wey u dey do.

The fact that management doesn't even hide it that they don't value contract staff is enough for anybody to strive not to be a contract staff beyond 24 months. See these ones now, nothing will come out of it. The management staff they mentioned their names as being responsible for bullying and harrasisng the contract staff, nothing will happen to them provided they are performers. Even if UBA sacks them to safe face, another bank will employ them and they will still show the contract staff in the new bank pepper

Is Economics STEM or non-STEM?

At basic level Economics is non stem
At advanced level they will change it for you and it will become STEM

I think they actually scam people calling it a social science

At advanced level it's filled with Differential equations which you have told people will not be a part of their lives

Anyone without a solid maths background the higher he goes in Economics will be frustrated

He is 6. But the math skills that boy has is way beyond his age. And it's not like we did anything special. No maths teacher, nothing.

I now understand why people train all their lives and will never be able to play football as well as Messi or basketball as well as Stephen curry.

Thank you for the tips and recommendations.

not really

if you have a particular set of books in mind type in the name in google with jiji or lagos after

eg harry potter jiji / lagos or percy jackson jiji /lagos

you will then have to filter through the names that come up nigerians can be cray with ridiculous prices or outright wasting of your time.

option b - what you can do - be kiaful

is get an ipad or tablet and the books to the device. then curate and control your childs use via the family settings app

it is a much cheaper way of doing it harry potter books are 40k for a set vs free on a tablet

don't bother with fire for kids. it is actually a waste of money in naija. locked down, and the key service is not available in naija

if you have a 1tb drive maybe we can do some biz

i have a lot of stuff i have ed over the years. these are the edutainment type stuff

Unlike Ibime, I do tend to rate art courses. Literature in SS1 kicked arse, largely because of its subjective nature. Music was always like braille grin and French, Edo and Yoruba probably worse. Philosophy seems like a discipline that's quite subjective.

Usually it was the kids with talent in singing, dancing, poetry, music instruments and acting that went to the arts. Always a small group of students, and it helped too that smart kids that wanted to be lawyers were Art students too.

Management and social science is where you find the bulk of students that didn't cut it in the sciences and didn't have talent for the arts either.

My problems with arts is the long texts to read. I used to go to Art classes just because of the girls and the story lines in literature are interesting
My major issue is the attention to stay and read 5hrs straight, if I had an audio book like today, I can probably handle Arts very well and excel at literature

History and CRK na extension of current affairs

Government i attended an SS2 class while in JS2 and I'm sure i could have scored 60% in their exam

Its a train to jump on to antagonize APC and Tinubu govt for the ers

The government teacher was my dad's friend, so I was sent to him but he was busy and asked me to his class

It was basically current affairs and I was answering most of the questions he was asking

He now said the state govt should have allowed me to do govt as a subject.

But if they did, what will spending 3yrs at a subject that I already knew 60% of the curriculum before opening a book at it
