Is Economics STEM or non-STEM?
Lol, Economics is the most fraudulently hard management science course, I enjoyed it a great deal, and did it up to SS3 and in WAEC, perfect for stat-padding.

The exams always started with some really easy graphs, and rate problems wey basic arithmetic go don conquer, no dey really bother prepare for that part then, go just face the the main theory part inside.

Government is our everyday life and could as general knowledge in some instances. Physics is not general knowledge.

I also don’t understand why I score above 80% in any biology questions that pop up on TikTok.
You'd have noticed that most people from STEM disciplines have avoided adding basic Biology inside the really tough highschool STEM courses, even though I believe what you'd probably be doing from TikTok is pop-quiz Biology, and not standard secondary school Biology.

Oh ok.

I know a STEM student that was meant to do either Medicine or Engineering as per parents' pressure but refused and went to study Economics in Uni.

The person bully them throughout and came out with solid 1st class and best graduating student.....and it was quite easily done.

Is it not about time state of emergency is declared in Benue state ?

Isn’t it obvious the governor has lost control of the security of the state with these persistent attacks by non state actors ?

At undergrad level, the Maths in Economics no finding where lines intersect on a graph and solving for it. This is usually used for things like Break even points, Optimal production volumes, Price elasticity etc. They will actually draw out the graph and start using ruler to find intersection points at undergrad level. I attended few workshops (those ones supervised by PHD students) since I couldn't make lessons and saw my coursemates drawing graph and just laughed, converted everything into simultaneous equations or 3x3 matrix and quickly solved, that's when some guys there started asking me to teach them Linear Algebra, that how will someone use 2 mins to finish what they will labour over for 30 mins grin grin

At PHD level, they do enter into stochastic processes and heavier calculations, but I will say it is 70% art at undergrad level

Unlike Ibime, I do tend to rate art courses. Literature in SS1 kicked arse, largely because of its subjective nature. Music was always like braille grin and French, Edo and Yoruba probably worse. Philosophy seems like a discipline that's quite subjective.

Usually it was the kids with talent in singing, dancing, poetry, music instruments and acting that went to the arts. Always a small group of students, and it helped too that smart kids that wanted to be lawyers were Art students too.

Management and social science is where you find the bulk of students that didn't cut it in the sciences and didn't have talent for the arts either.

Ibrahim Traore has successfully activated propaganda on a continental level, the first of it's kind. We should be happy Tinubu doesn't have access to such levels of pr.

Which begs the question, if you're truly working,is pr necessary?? You're not a business but a country. Any government who focuses heavily on pr is not doing well, therefore using PR to hide their failure.

I agree, or he's using the propaganda to solidify his position ahead of when he becomes an outright terror.

Sure, just give him time. When he knows he doesn't have any competition anymore, and everybody is completely loyal, he'll unleash terror. That's the playbook of every dictator and people who claim to be revolutionaries.

Literature and philosophy are probably the easiest. Their subjective nature is exactly why you'd ace them. The drivimg principle of philosophy is nothing is certain or absolute as long as you articulately present a tenable debate to make your points.

All that epistemology and the likes are verbose which are only grandiose when examined superficially. You'd knock a philosophy grad out the park if you are grounded in world issues and immerse yourself in ideological concepts as a STEM major. Being in STEM already gives you an edge of templating everything on logical outcomes or being pragmatic.

Literature? Too easy. If your language and cognitive skills such as wits are amped, you'd do well enough.

The Editor of MKO Abiola's Concorde Newspaper who was fighting military regimes is an Engineering grad and did his masters focusing on Microchips technology. He's an older friend in his 70s and ranks higher than countless who majored in journalism. He switched spanners for the pen instantly and excelled.

Natasha has always famzed BAT, it's why she came to the Edo election and was shouting about making Edo Lagos.

It wasn't APC vs opposition for a lot of persons, it was more a demand for transparency in her issues with Akpabio.

For her it wasn't APC vs the opposition. She thanked Akpabio before Kogi people when she won. She's been thanking him along with her media aides (I can post links as of last year December and January this year of her aides thanking Akpabio for carrying Natasha along on Facebook).

. , in March she claimed Akpabio harassed her in 2023 in Uyo and throughout 2024 but she was famzing him even at the beginning of this year. How do do continue to praise and take pictures with your alleged molester/harasser as a grown woman but spoke up when your seat was changed?

For the opposition, it's APC vs them. Natasha is just a way to get back at Tinubu.

You also realize she has added assassination and organ harvesting to her accusations, right? She's banking on both now. You've said nothing about that.

the viral Iniubong Umoren murdered by a guy who tried to molest her while job-seeking in 2021? The guy was been convicted in 2022.

Natasha tried to recruit the deceased girl's elder sister to accuse Akpabio of heading an organ harvesting ring which the deceased fell victim to. The courts and independent bodies already vetted autopsies confirming her organs weren't harvested and her exhuming was captured on video to show her parts intact.

The deceased girl's sister had to do a press release yesterday to counter claims by Natasha Iniubong was murdered for her organs: https://www.facebook.com/100005347028813/posts/pfbid0gzrZcBDJUPtBDxRJPnTHmGDPaqcs29RJTwNayAWHjrGvwr51UgqakzvhKeTg4ndAl/ .
