If you have shouted and cried blue whenever you heard that this government borrowed money for whatever reason but could not praise them now that the debts are being cleared, then you are one of the children of hate born with hate because of politics. If you cry blue about any action taken by this government and you know that if the same action is taken by your political messiah, you will justify it, then you are the worst of all creatures ever lived And by the way, why is it that 90% of those hailing David Hundeyin or hyundai are those against Sandra Duru? How are the two different? If you cheer one and abuse or are against the other, then you the most idiotic of all 2 Likes 1 Share |

They re doing this to spite Traore. Is the economy running like one that its debt has been fully repaid? Why is the naira still undervalued? Foreign loans are the reason why local currencies are undervalued. If ours has benn wiped clean we ought to see appreciation of its value, reminds me of the 30bn dollars Okonjo Iweala claimed was paid to wipe Nigeria's foreign debt during Obasanjo's time, it didnt last up to 2 months Nigeria was indebted again. 3 Likes 1 Share |

- The $3.4 billion principal has been cleared, but **interest and charges** (e.g., SDR assessments, GRA fees) remain. These will be paid annually until 2029, totaling ~$590 million So obviously there are still work to do attained total delisting of indebtedness. |

fabolouz1: The debt clearance under Obasanjo was part of a debt forgiveness program under which several African countries had their debts forgiven in full.( Countries like Niger got all.their debt forgiven) Nigeria got two thirds of its debt forgiven , and we had to pay the remaining one third which we did. 1 Like |
