When set with good standards, blocks can stay up for months or even years without putting pillars or lintels. Except there are other physical factors like animals leaning on the block walls or other heavy materials that can push it down. You can lay your blocks now and cast pillars later.

I don't know what type of structure it is but if you say in two weeks time, why not allow one week to then you start raising the blocks to the lintel level and as you enter the second week, you proceed to do the Intel casting......
