Pardon my english where you will find errors, its not my main language
I was interested to know more about Nigeria ever since i was fond of Nigerian movies in Late 90s to 2000s, by that time i thought all Nigerians wear red caps, greet by saying igwe, and other stuff but it was later when i knew it was just one tribe.
Any way to cut the story short, with the rise of internet i digged deeper and knew about the Biafra war which i wouldn't like to talk more of it but i was just surprised how the Igbos bounced back fast, That's when i realized they are good in making money.
BUT ! i heard Igbos complaining Tribalism, at first i had pitty on them but as i dug deeper i somehow see the problem is also in IGBOS.
Being Loud at your neighbour homes is a big problem for Igbos, Its okay to be loud when you are successful at your home or far away in foreign lands, example Igbos can be loud in South East or in other countries outside Nigeria, The same to Yoruba can also be Loud in South west of other countries.
Problem with Igbos, Being Loud at neighbours example Lagos, and the loud i am speaking of also includes being provocative to natives, Just imagine your neighbour coming to the place you live and even ancestors lived a long time and they start to say it is no mans land, Chai !
The little small small success you have you start rubbing it on the natives, this is why uts very easy to shift a blame in Igbos, people already have a grudge it takes a little spark to make them burn the Igbo shops, destroy houses, etc. How dare you go to a neighbour house and start flexing as if you own it, the land their grand fathers resided, NOT IN MY HOUSE !!
I don't know much about the northern parts but for the little i know those places its more about religion, the places are filled with Muslims and even worse headed by these traditional rich leaders who wear like Arab sultans, i think those places play no games,
So Nigeria has 3 main Tribes Hausa, Yoruba's and Igbos but only 2 will be in charge, bad enough from what i have seen from the power game. the Igbos are left so behind, left to follow not to make decisions for a long time.
The only way Igbo can have power is getting on the same pace with Yoruba's, i will even praise Yoruba's they are some how with open arms, ready to be good neighbours if the Igbos are willing to change.
I see no Biafra, those are pipe dreams, with any possible means try to co exist with others
The op is definitely an oodua republican. They have gone to sophisticate and civilize Tanzania.

Don't be deceived Mr. foreigner, nobody is marginalizing Igbos.. how many elective positions in Igboland are held by non-Igbos?NONE.
How many elective positions are Igbos holding outside Igboland? PLENTY.
They are littered all over every nook and cranny of the country doing business freely, buying lands and building houses without stereotype or disturbance but how many non-Igbos are getting similar treatment in Igboland? FEW.
If you're looking for marginalized tribe in Nigeria.. it's the Yorubas, right from Awolowo to M.K.O who was denied his election victory to the unfair treatment of Yorubas by the GEJ Govt.
The only time Yorubas entered mainstrem politics in Nigeria was 2023 when PBAT emerged President.. check history, it has been Fulanis and Igbos doing padi padi, sharing everything shareable.
Obasanjo that was head of state between 1976 and 1979 and president between 1999 and 2007 is from Kano I guess.
Ernest Shonekan was interim president for a period of 6 months in 1993.
The youngest speaker ever produced in Nigeria till date was a man named Dimeji Bankole.
Yemi Osibanjo was vice president for 8 years of Buhari presidency.
Now tell us and the foreigner how Yorubas are being marginalized.

I just dey pity you, be like say you no know how toxic these people are, they will come for your head, we Nigerians have learnt how to deal with them, they will just use the excuse that you are non Nigerian to tell you to mind your own business
But don't worry, of the 3 big tribes , they are the smallest and the most inconsequential.....the only thing they are good at is trading, not even making money as you erroneously claimed.
Besides the so called bouncing back is only possible because other Nigerians patronized them, so it wasn't as if They performed any magic.

Mr Oodua republican, the Igbos are larger, more educated, wealthier, more prosperous, and have higher HDI than the Yorubas. Every statistic proves this.

I agree, 2025 statistics prove this to be true
But that also meant all these previous years, we were ahead of you
You people are not getting something, it's no competition
Nigeria still grossly lag behind in educating it's citizens, if other regions now come up stronger in indices about education, Good for the country, eventually we will have more educated citizens than uneducated ones and our society will begin to change positively.
You cant say because the US is now world power that the Greeks and Romans weren't world powers in the past
Or that Britain wasnt a great empire because its no longer the worlds most powerful empire..... I
