Nigerians are currently enjoying the judgment of God....

Hunger in the Land... And yet Government priorities Trillions of dollars... In highway construction... Whose probably at completion cannot take traffic more than Lagos-Ibadan-Ore high way.. .

The rush at which the Government embark on this project, looks highly suspicious...

The government talk more about Road projects... Than listening to the welfare of Nigerian people....

This Government is Evil... And Nigerians deserves evil leaders in Politics

because Nigerians too are evil people...

I said connect mumu, must it through your village. Tribal monkey...go an learn comprehension, if you cut off from the highway on South South, won't you connect southeast, southeast is landlocked, it's a coastal road.

Is that why you clowns are angry?

Must everything benefit you personally?

Bad mind destroys.
what and what has benefited the south east personally in the past?

That means you do not know those people. They do not have shame.

They will most likely use the road before you, they will even snap pictures on the road, post it on their social media and still abuse the project in spite of that.

That thing called shame or burying one's head in the sand non de their dictionary

You know them well, why are Obidients so shameless? That's a Ph.D thesis just waiting to be written.

Not dragging tribalism into this but if your papa could solve a quarter of these problems, he would have ended at least A GOVERNOR.

One of the failures which your father probably ed to you is the INABILITY NOT TO RESEARCH OR CHECK FOR FACTS. If you had checked for facts, you'll know that government just completed the Lafia-Akwanga-Makurdi Rd and is akready working on the Makurdi-Otukpo-Anyigba rd which has been dead since the time of Obasanjo and David Mark. Do your checks well, many project which were left dormant these past years are now under serious construction.

The problem with some of you is your believe in MEDIOCRE POLITICIANS.

One of the signs that someone is intelligent is the ability to present his case without resorting to his animalistic tendencies. You obviously have resorted to your natural instincts. You have nothing else to offer.

Cry yesterday, cry today, cry forever ♾️.

Are you ing this istration? If yes anything written about this government and the coastal lines are rubbish. Come out to condemn the exchange rate, hyper inflation, executive rascality, corruption, insecurity, and a lot more going on in this istration before we can engage in constructive arguement. You have to show that you have brain and human sympathy before expecting sane minds to hear from you.
Lol
I'm not pro-APC, chief. Calm down.
The fact that I don't believe that Tinubu is a visionary leader does not mean that I will condemn everything he does without critical thinking.

Apart from floating Naira and subsidy removal, can't you see the aggressiveness in projects execution and funding?

Tinubu is not coming for a joke. Giving him eight years, so many things would be put in place. He laid the foundation of the greatness of Lagos. No incompetent person can rule Lagos now. Such a one will ridicule himself.
Let us be watching.

Laid which foundation for the greatness of which Lagos...was Tinubu a better governor than Jakande or even Fashola ?

like the east west road that has been under construction for ages? Waste of resources! If the government rates citizens they would have known that the coastal high is not in the list of needs of an average citizen

Is the East West Road a Misplaced priority? Or the Contract awarding it self is faulty? I talked about contract Variation previously and how contractors are using such to their advantages. Similar situation can be seen on how Berger keeps handling Abuja to Kano Highway. The Minister Observed and took the Job away from them.Trust me if it was another lay man as minister, he would have bent to Bergers new exorbitant Variation. Yes we are aware Variation is important since majority of Such companies took loans , but Nigerians have been milked with a delayed project all along.
Still on Such Contract , you can't expressly take away such awarded Jobs from thr contractors without consulting your Lawyers and ensuring your ministry isn't breaching the contract. If not they will be paid in full for doing nothing.

2) So if Tinubu doesn't get a competent minister of power, OYO for us all till he's booted out in 2027? That's pathetic and shameful.

The foundation is not in personality but in system. I was in secondary school in the time of Jakande. I knew when Tinubu came in and Fashola and the rest. Fashola is part of Tinubu's reforms. For a leader to know the kind of successor to realize a philosophical vision that is a real leader.
That aside, continuity of governance in Lagos state is the real foundation. In my own state, where PDP a d APC and AD have changed batons, the ground covered by one party is discarded by the next. You can see the uniqueness of Lagos and the development.
Tinubu is still concerned about the systemic structure for robust economy based on the realities available.

While the Lagos/Calabar coastal road would be an interesting sight, I have many problems with it:

1) The government should first tidy up federal roads and make them drivable and safe. I've been to many parts of this country, and our federal roads are a deathtrap. Roads should be easily drivable, without senseless potholes.

2) Will this road be completed on time? I have a strong feeling that this road will eventually be a white elephant project that won't be completed in the next 10 years. Investing billions on a long stretch of road while the existing ones are an eyesore is ridiculous to me.

3) Why wasn't this project bid for? Why was it awarded without other construction companies submitting their bid? Sounds very tyrannical and impulsive. For a project this large, and this expensive, there should have been a fair bidding process.

4) Why are we spending so so so much on a road, when we have other more pressing issues? An estimated cost of more than 3tr is to be spent on this road. Why? Why not spend same money on kickstarting 24/7 electricity? Why not invest it in interstate security, so that kidnapping would be a thing of the past? Why not spread the money across other more important projects?

So many questions, so little answers. I have many reservations.

PS: Please respect your family name and don't drag tribalism or stupidity into this. If you wanna argue, engage the use of your brain. Selah

Just hope umahi keeps his record straight cause the next government will just him to shine in court

Sadly that's the country we find outselves, last s contractors eat the lawyer minister to the core. But all projects are timely and fully impacts to the citizens.

See them, the usual suspects from the East are annoyed at the SS getting projects. Tomorrow now, you beggars will be calling yourselves SE SS.

I don't know which annoys you Igbos more. The fact that Tinubu is actually completing this project, the fact that it is an Ebonyi man doing it or the fact that it benefits the SS.

Look at this agbadorian mutant.. You want to develop the south south by linking them to the eternal parasites at the south-west through your kwarupt ChagouryChagouryroad to nowhere??

If you want to build a project that will benefit the south south, fix the port facilities at Warri, Akwa Ibom, Calabar and Portharcourt. Fix the laws that favour Lagos ports and make those SS ports functional. That will quickly tipple the volume of business done in the south south states. But you and your bulaabaa master will never do that. And we know why?

You guys are building a corrupt road from Tinubus new Lekki port to Calabar so that Calabar indigenes can come to lagos to clear their goods! Imagine that! Meanwhile the ports of the south south are being stiffled by your brothers in power. Treachery is not intelligence..
