Maybe I'm the only one who hasn't given up hope, and my reason is because SA still has Rwanda to play. Rwanda will fancy their chances to make it to the world cup, and they have an axe to grind due to the political tensions between the two countries considering SA's role in the DRC where the Rwandan backed M16 was doing some clean up.

SA will either lose that match or get a draw at best to remain in 11 points after being ducked 3 points.

I will say it again, I always fancy our chances against SA in SA. There is no better place for the eagles to play against SA than in SA.

Lesotho doesn’t need to table the matter for FIFA’s hammer to land on South Africa

SA is 90% likely to have 3 points and 3 goals deducted and awarded to Lesotho

Even I read few days ago online that SA’s team manager is on the verge of been sacked because of this big mistake and that the FA are doing all they can to remedy the issue which doesn’t seem likely

Wc one is 90percent…if fifa allows South Africa 🇿🇦 to have deir way..no problem den,na to start to Dey field ineligible players to execute matches ,we go just Dey make reference to South Africa situation. Simple

Breaking news;

Big boost for the super eagles of Nigeria qualifying hopes as CAF finally deducts The bafana bafana of South Africa 3 points and award the 3 points to Lesotho and a 3~0 victory to Lesotho 🇱🇸 for the fielding of Teboho Mokoena who was supposed to be suspended for that match against Lesotho for accumulated yellow cards.

This means South Africa 🇿🇦 now have 10 points n the super eagles close in with their 7 points ..

It now means if the super eagles of Nigeria wins their remaining 4 matches, they qualify automatically for the World Cup .

Pain went down to the people from kuvukiland 😊

In a world cup qualifier match, FIFA has the jurisdiction.

Bad performances don't always remain static. If you judge a team's future performance strictly on past awful results then we might as well pack it in and not any team because I'm sure every fan has a story to tell.

Honestly, we should had continued with peseiro 343 or 541 during the WCQ
Not just the formation, we should have continued with Peseiro himself... The confidence and form was already evident in the team, changing coach scattered the whole AFCON form and morale.

We couldn't beat south Africa in 120 minutes
Dem too couldn't beat us in 120 minutes
Player our second 11 in uyo last year.... No osihmen, ekong, aina, Moses Simon.... Still it ended draw

SA are very aware that we are there biggest threat even if SE had 2 points and SA had 15 points....
They won't still breath down till they qualified

Y'all rest with this SA building.. team cohesion blah blah blah
Dem no their mate
I only blame SE for letting these countries feel superior

Even when we had good results we judge the team and say the coach and team are boring and can’t go far so is it when we have poor results we should be confident? Both good and bad results Nigerians will always judge

If true, it is just an effort in futility. Such special talents are well positioned to feature for those European nations, that is why I never see them as prospects for Nigeria. I never saw Saka, Madueke, Omorodion, Musiala etc as Nigerians because I knew we stood no chance.

We can only get those good players that are struggling such as Lookman or those not rated when young, such as Bassey.

At this moment, instead of wasting time with the likes of Nwaneri and Atubolu, tryout struggling ones like Iroegbu of Everton, Ugochukwu of Soton, and Chelsea's Chukwuemeka.

we have missed our chance once he started performing in a top club like Arsenal.
It should have been done earlier like the case of Iwobi.
If they could not convince Eze and Olise of crystal palace,it's an Arsenal player with a huge prospect they would?

We can woo Chido Martins over if we try to get him now. If Osimhen's deal to Man UTd materializes that would be another advantage.

The chances of him committing to Nigeria is very low.
There are other players, Eric Chelle will be meeting with also.
Napoleon55(m): 1:59pm On Mar 31
But most of these players don't have good advisers.
First, they are Nigerians by birth, there is nothing to be ashamed of there or anything they can do to change it.

Second, they would end up more accomplished career wise if they choose to represent Nigeria.

Lookman would never have attained this height he is now if he had waited for the 3 Lions, same as Aina.

Out of all these young players who rejected us recently, only Saka and Olise maybe seems to be having a better career, not so with the likes of Tammy Abraham, Tomori and co.

what is the point? Chelle will see other players invite them yet will not play them. Please let him concentrate on the 39 players in the former provisional list.

He needs just two foreign born players in that team to play for Nigeria if they ever agree to at the moment. They are the two that can add something special to the team. Ethan Nwaneri of Arsenal & felix Udokhai of Besiktas. Any other discussion is a jamboree by public officials. There are lot of hungry talents that are abound in the country waiting for aopportunity to showcase their gift. The best Nigerian footballers for the next decades are indeed not foreign born. No specially talented foreign born will leave their country of birth for their parents if they did not feel ignored after the age grade categories especially from the u.k.

Exactly.. And countries like Nigeria and Ethiopia that have been punished for the same offence can drag FIFA to CAS for being biased...
I was just laughing when I saw the defense the South Africans were cooking up on social media when the news broke out..

FIFA no dey play..

I Zimbabwe were banned from participating in the 2018 world cup qualifiers after their former coach reported them to FIFA for failing to pay him his wages...

Chido Obi Martins is Danish by birth and presently doing it for Denmark under 21.Osimhen moving to man utd will not have any effect on Chido playing for Nigeria.....I Mikel saying you cannot convince any FB to play for Nigeria cuz it's always personal decisions.
