If you try this, they will invite you to in person interview. They know when you leave the US and when you enter. Don't get into trouble. You're a visitor. Visit and go home

Everyweek someone iis sharing resumes of prospective interns and jobseekers with other employees via group emails for specific collabotations.

Secondly utilise LinkedIn ..reach out to s and networks in your field and market yourself for internship opportunities directly via messages or comments. You might get good leads
