Please someone should recommend a school for me for MRES in engineering course, and the school should allow dependents in their MRes. Not those ones that disguise postgraduate taught masters as MRes.

Yes, it has been discontinued for the regular MSc, you can take your dependants with you if you are enrolled for postgraduate level 9, mres and phd.

[I'm considering the 2 year option ]

Are you only considering the two-year MRes program, or would you be open to a one-year option as well?[/quote]

Please does MRes program of University of Chester and University of Birmingham allow dependents?

I stand corrected though but I highly doubt they do. Schools I am aware of (which are well publicized also) are Universities of Bolton, Wolverhampton, Central Lancashire and Gloucestershire.

Most MRes degrees are actually Level 7. "postgraduate/higher research degree" is actually what qualifies them to permit you bring in dependents.

If you are ready to go for mres courses ,apply with your dependent ,a lot of people got visa with their partner with it .

Bolton is still open ,no more time because sept is getting full already

Peace !!!

Is it possible for visa outcome to be delayed due to past visa refusals?

Is it for Mres? I wanted to apply but noticed that their Mres courses are for distance learning.

These should help you.

What do you know about school?

• Why did you choose the school for your studies?

• What can you tell us about your chosen course and the modules you will be studying?

• What are the methods of assessment for this course?

• Why did you choose to continue your studies in the UK?

• Which other universities did you think about applying to?

• If there has been a gap between your previous studies and this new course, what was the reason for taking this break?

• How will the course you have applied for help with your future career plans?

• What do you plan to do after graduation?

• What accommodation arrangements have you made/plan to make in the UK?

• If you plan to have dependants living with you in the UK, how can you ensure that your responsibility for them will not affect your studies?

• How will you fund your studies? Is this a guaranteed source of income for course fees and living expenses?

You can conduct research about the university, your course and facilities on the school’s website

Is Ulster University Birmingham a great school? I didn’t see anything about the Birmingham campus on Ulster University website. I got a conditional offer for may intake but thinking of deferring to September.
Please someone should help a confused brother before I pay my tuition deposit.

Noted.

This information might be helpful to those who needs it..
You are required to provide your ‘shareCode’ at the port of entry as a means of identification and proof of your Visa (e-visa) to the officer. I have gone through a few previous communication on this trend and I could see that most people don’t really understand the process or maybe it’s different for foreign students or Professionals applicants.
Please when you receive your e-Visa confirmation letter, go through it thoroughly and you might come across some personal unique codes.. those code are more like your ‘BRP number’ so when you are access the UKVI e-visa website and you are asked if you know your ‘BRP number or have created a UKVI ’ always answer YES to the question and where you are required to input, use those codes as your BRP number, your DOB and your phone number or email address to into your e-Visa personal details
Page where you can create a shareCode to provide to the office at the port of entry and also to your landlord and your employer too when you get to the UK. Just like I said, it might be different to every category of applications. I work with asylum and refugee team and this is how we get into their e-Visa page since the commence of e-Visa scheme in the UK. I hope this information is helpful to most people. Don’t sell yourself short of information as you willl only delay yourself at the port of entry. Those officers will not have the time to go through this with you or wait for you to do all this when you are at the airport. Just saying…. Maybe few might help but prepare for the worst and always be ready… I still repeat, the process might be different for every application. Kind regards 🙏🙏🙏

Hi,

I got an email from VFS that my port is ready for collection but no email from UKVI that my visa has been approved or refused. Is this normal please?

I am going to collect my port tomorrow but I’m so anxious and scared.

My spam is empty. Do they send an email if visa is successful or not for student visa? Because I know they don’t do that for visit visa.
