Please someone should recommend a school for me for MRES in engineering course, and the school should allow dependents in their MRes. Not those ones that disguise postgraduate taught masters as MRes.

profsomebody:Yes, it has been discontinued for the regular MSc, you can take your dependants with you if you are enrolled for postgraduate level 9, mres and phd. 2 Likes |

[I'm considering the 2 year option ] Are you only considering the two-year MRes program, or would you be open to a one-year option as well?[/quote] |

chrisifeanyi: I stand corrected though but I highly doubt they do. Schools I am aware of (which are well publicized also) are Universities of Bolton, Wolverhampton, Central Lancashire and Gloucestershire. 1 Like |

Froshloaded: Most MRes degrees are actually Level 7. "postgraduate/higher research degree" is actually what qualifies them to permit you bring in dependents. |

9wkgb: If you are ready to go for mres courses ,apply with your dependent ,a lot of people got visa with their partner with it . Bolton is still open ,no more time because sept is getting full already Peace !!! |

Is it possible for visa outcome to be delayed due to past visa refusals?

ehemwhy: Is it for Mres? I wanted to apply but noticed that their Mres courses are for distance learning. |

Visa Alert!!!! Biometric 17th December. First escalation 20th of January . Second escalation 13th of February . Several calls and emails “ note they don’t influence how fast or slow your decision will be”. School enrollment 27th January but I kept sending them emails every week on the situation. 1 refusal in 2022. Visa approval 17th of February which is exactly 2months Close to 4months POF The wait is really cr*zy but God did it. To everyone waiting, gate of mercy shall open for you this week. This platform has been great and it has been keeping my hope alive. Thanks . 6 Likes |

These should help you. What do you know about school? • Why did you choose the school for your studies? • What can you tell us about your chosen course and the modules you will be studying? • What are the methods of assessment for this course? • Why did you choose to continue your studies in the UK? • Which other universities did you think about applying to? • If there has been a gap between your previous studies and this new course, what was the reason for taking this break? • How will the course you have applied for help with your future career plans? • What do you plan to do after graduation? • What accommodation arrangements have you made/plan to make in the UK? • If you plan to have dependants living with you in the UK, how can you ensure that your responsibility for them will not affect your studies? • How will you fund your studies? Is this a guaranteed source of income for course fees and living expenses? You can conduct research about the university, your course and facilities on the school’s website Morexx23: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Is Ulster University Birmingham a great school? I didn’t see anything about the Birmingham campus on Ulster University website. I got a conditional offer for may intake but thinking of deferring to September. Please someone should help a confused brother before I pay my tuition deposit. |

Hi, I got an email from VFS that my port is ready for collection but no email from UKVI that my visa has been approved or refused. Is this normal please? I am going to collect my port tomorrow but I’m so anxious and scared. |

Which flight is the best for now please.? Been trying to book a flight but haven't really seen one that is ok. I intend to leave on Monday or Tuesday at best. |
Weyrezee: 8:04pm On Feb 20 |
Uhtred: My spam is empty. Do they send an email if visa is successful or not for student visa? Because I know they don’t do that for visit visa. |
9wkgb: 9:30pm On Feb 20 |
Weyrezee: Your visa is most likely approved. >50% sure of that. Congratulations in advance. |
Weyrezee: 11:46pm On Feb 20 |
9wkgb:Have you gotten your visa already? |
