An investor has made much money and wants to create more money by investing in businesses but an entrepreneur manages his business for financial growth and expansion.

What is the definition of being rich? This is the question here. What's the difference between being comfortable and being rich? Also, have you considered the standard of living the person who you consider being rich lives?

Those people saying Nigerian salary earners are rich.....for example, someone earned 1 billion naira salary per annum, and they say he is rich. Well, for sure, the person is rich among poor Nigerians. This is the truth. But is he really rich when we use the world's standard?

Can you claim you are rich and live among the poor, and you compare yourself only with the poor? Are you not just being rich among the poor?

If we consider wealth in developed nations, a salary of $50,000 per month is excellent. But I haven't seen anyone with such that claims to be rich. Nope. Except the person is into some other things. For sure, even a monthly salary of $7,000 to $10,000 is great. It is nice, but they don't ever say such will make one rich over there.

To be really rich, you must compare the person with the world standard. In Nigeria, the only rich people are the likes of Dangote, Alakija, Adenuga, etc. Then, we can say the likes of Don Jazzy, Wizkid are influential and comfortable, but they aren't rich. I a year, Kanye West was on the twitter begging Zerkerburg seriously to help him as he is poor, and he has won many grammies that time. Do you think he wasn't comfortable at the time? Or do you think he lacks money to do things? But he wanted to do some extra ordinary things. Even though he raised capital to start his stuff elsewhere, we can see how he is today. He is a billionaire in usd. And he could have climbed upper, but the money don enter his head and he is presently misbehaving. Lol.

You could have given your opinion without sounding foolish. Even if everyone cannot be an enterprenuer, atleast one should be able to invest his or her hard earned salary or have a retirement plan. As one is getting aged, he or she would not have the strength to keep working to earn money. Ok what happens if you get fired or layed off from work? What will you fall back on? If you want to get rich from the salary you earn, you will keep on being used or probably get dumped or even keep working till you die. It hurts but that's the truth. It depends on the business or investment. If you invest on the wrong things, you shouldn't expect positive results. I have seen people who were salary earners and were earning well but living extravagant lives or failed to invest their huge salaries and ended up being broke after retirement or being layed off. These were guys i envied and wished i was in their shoes. Unfortunately, they mismanaged their chances.
