So I was told but with good load management so as to prolong battery life

It will last long if you dont over load it. Dont drain it, never use it below 40%. Always check and make sure you dont drain it. it will last minimum 10 years if well maintained

This is not true sir
yinkus6750:
You can't compare inverter fridge/ freezer with normal ones.
The inverter ones are better in an environment where you have constant light. Few hours without light will still give the right retention. But if it gets prolonged without light, it's dangerous as you will get spoilt items. A normal freezer might remain frozen and last for 48-72hours without light. While inverter without light is likely to be within 24 hours

Inverter Deep Freezer/Fridge Experience
While inverter technology is relatively new in Nigeria, some s have shared their experiences with inverter deep freezers and fridges. Here's a balanced view of the pros and cons:

Pros
1. Energy Efficiency: Inverter deep freezers and fridges consume significantly less power than regular appliances.
2. Cost-Effective: Reduced energy consumption leads to lower electricity bills.
3. Cooling Performance: Inverter technology provides faster cooling and better temperature control.

Cons
1. Durability Concerns: Some s have reported shorter lifespans compared to traditional appliances.
2. Repair Challenges: Repairing inverter deep freezers and fridges can be difficult due to the complex technology involved.
3. Higher Upfront Cost: Inverter appliances are often more expensive than traditional ones.

Cooling Performance After Power Outage
Inverter deep freezers and fridges are designed to retain cooling for several hours after a power outage. However, the exact duration depends on various factors, including:

1. Appliance Quality: Better-quality inverter appliances tend to retain cooling longer.
2. Insulation and Door Seals: Proper insulation and door seals help maintain the cooling temperature.
3. *nitial Temperature: If the appliance is already at a low temperature when the power goes out, it will retain cooling longer.

Conclusion
Inverter deep freezers and fridges offer energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved cooling performance. However, concerns about durability and repair challenges should be considered. If you decide to purchase an inverter appliance, ensure you buy from a reputable brand and follow proper maintenance and usage guidelines.

I hope this summary helps you make an informed decision!

Did those who complained of the durability or life span used stabilizer? Because from the 's manual, the producer encourage s to use stabilizer, for in case the available voltage drops below 187 volt. And many don't know when their voltage drops or rises.

Moneyboyz: 6:51pm On Feb 19
I can leave my inverter freezer on till 12 midnight and it won't eat more than 1 bar from my battery compared to my previous freezer.
Also this one makes little to no sound, very good.

Inverter refrigerator is the best don't think twice if you have the money buy it now you will never regret it, am using a Samsung inverter refrigerator 329LITRES it is very energy efficient, the power rating is just 100watt very low voltage they carry this refrigerator attached is the picture of the refrigerator,I bought it during buhari time 450k ,inverter refrigerator even last more than the normal refrigerator bcus inverter compressor stop working once it detect that the refrigerator has reached the optimal temperature set but once you begin open the refrigerator every time the compressor will detect that the temperature of the refrigerator has reduced and the compressor pick up again you nor need to they worry say you go off refrigerator bcus light they constant for week the inverter in the refrigerator does the regulation with just 100 or 150 watt most inverter refrigerator go work efficiently but normally refrigerator of this size go need atleast 1500watt to run efficiently

Does anyone here have experience using an inverter deep freezer or fridge? I know it's a relatively new technology in Nigeria, so not many people have used it yet.

I’m considering buying one, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. While it consumes less power than regular freezers, some say it doesn’t last as long and can be difficult to repair when damaged.

Most importantly, how is the cooling like. Does it stay cooled for long after power outage? If you’ve used one or know someone who has, please share your experience. I’d really appreciate your insights.

Thanks!

I have been using a non-inverter freezer for over 5 years now and never had issues with. I recently bought an inverter fridge, about to start using it next month. Hopefully I can learn from this topic. I did this because I want to go completely off-grid. I am using a 2.5kva inverter + 2pcs 220ah batteries. However, I bought a new 10kva + 15kwh lithium battery to add to it. Hence, i am having to go for solar friendly appliances.

I have 1.5hp non-inverter ac. Can I connect this to my inverter set up and use only during sun peak hours?

PLEASE I WILL APPRECIATE SOMEONE WITH SOLAR KNOWLEDGE TO ADVICE ON THIS PLAN OF MINE

wow

how much did it cost you to get the 10kva + 15kwh lithium battery?

hope you know you can't completely go off grid with this setup without solar .

I bought one from fouani @ 529k and it's just 65W.... I've left it permanently on and plugged to my inverter... It's noiseless and holds coldness but not like the normal refrigerator.... That's my observation

does it freeze your food or it's just very cold?

Exactly am using one battery with small solar inverter to run my 329LITRES inverter refrigerator for more than 2years now inverter refrigerator are the best just that it is very expensive

I'll advice you as a Solar englneer and as a perskn who has been using solar also.

1. Your upgrade is very okay with your new Inverter and lithium batteries....

2. For heavy load, it's advisable to use when the sun is at it's peak, like your A.C and Pumping Machine..

3. Go for an inverter freezer preferably Haier Thermocool or Scanfrost, as they have the more compatible measures with your inverter system..

I'm giving you this counsel as a Solar Engineer and a End also.. for more clarity, you can reach out via. 07060674810.

Thank you Engineer for your counsel. I have 1pc non-inverter deep freezer and 1pc inverter double door fridge. I will use both only during sun peak. Night time, will definitely be switching off the freezer

As a Solar englneer who is also an end .. I did some installation for my wife who uses inverter freezer for iced block production, and sold drinks sales. But I'll always recommend anyone to go for Either Haier Thermocool or Scanfrost.. they give the best.. Inverter Freezer.. for more discussion, u can reach out through. 07060674810

I heard of someone in Ogun State who bought 3 solar deep freezers due to an epileptic power supply. Now those freezers are not in use. Am not sure of the brand she bought.

I suggest anyone who has a reliable solar freezer should tell us the brand, how long it's been in use, and how the freezer is loaded, is it packed to full or loaded sparingly? It is used for business or home use?
ceevee2003: 8:33pm On Feb 19
I bought the bona brand two years ago and only used it for about 5 months before it stopped functioning. Even when it was functioning, it does not keep items frozen for long like my normal haier thermocool. It can defrost in 1 to 2 days even without opening.

Now, when you turn it on, it only shows the red light and doesn't power on. There is a green light that should come on after some seconds of the red light coming on, but it never comes on. Since then, my children have been using it as a reading table.

People with less appliances are able to run on those. My mate just installed a 6.5kva/10kwh and uses 2 ACs deep freezer and a tv, lasts until daybreak

I WILL STRONGLY ADVICE PEOPLE TO STAY OFF INVERTER FRIDGE OR FREEZER AND EVEN THE AIR CONDITIONER. I HAVE TWO INVERTER AC'S AND A SAMSUNG AC, I CAN CONFIDENTLY TELL U GUYS THAT THE SAMSUNG AC FREEZES FASTER THAN THE INVERTER ONES

That's how it's meant to be. Inverters are made to work more efficiently. This in part ensures non-inverter ACs chills up the room faster

Yes you can do that. The thing is if you overload, you wear out the system quickly. Over load ends up reduce the life span by years.

Yes. That's where load management comes in. And why lithium batteries are better. Cant the total percentage of the load, but appliances are inverter. Even at that, If you get 5-10 years on average from all, that's fair.
