Check the watt of your fridge and ac my fridge is not Inverta fridge but low power consuming American brand it work for my 5kw lithium battery
And the good thing about solar light under 2 hrs my fridge and freezer compartment is already frozen but if it’s Nepa light it will take 6hrs

I have been using a non-inverter freezer for over 5 years now and never had issues with. I recently bought an inverter fridge, about to start using it next month. Hopefully I can learn from this topic. I did this because I want to go completely off-grid. I am using a 2.5kva inverter + 2pcs 220ah batteries. However, I bought a new 10kva + 15kwh lithium battery to add to it. Hence, i am having to go for solar friendly appliances.

I have 1.5hp non-inverter ac. Can I connect this to my inverter set up and use only during sun peak hours?

PLEASE I WILL APPRECIATE SOMEONE WITH SOLAR KNOWLEDGE TO ADVICE ON THIS PLAN OF MINE

Your 15kwh na better backup, You wont have issue runnig your 1.5 through out the day and night on (24 to 30 degree).

It depends. If power supply is constant, inverter AC's are way better than conventional ones.
I can afford to run my inverter AC for 24 hours without bothering about power consumption.
(20°, fan speed at 2) keeps the ambience just fine.

Non inverter AC are better, i swicthed from Non inveter 1.5 to Hisense 1.5 inveter ac last month, honestly, i'm regretting. it chills but not upto 1hp non inveter

Does anyone here have experience using an inverter deep freezer or fridge? I know it's a relatively new technology in Nigeria, so not many people have used it yet.

I’m considering buying one, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. While it consumes less power than regular freezers, some say it doesn’t last as long and can be difficult to repair when damaged.

Most importantly, how is the cooling like. Does it stay cooled for long after power outage? If you’ve used one or know someone who has, please share your experience. I’d really appreciate your insights.

Thanks!
Good enquiry

I bought one from fouani @ 529k and it's just 65W.... I've left it permanently on and plugged to my inverter... It's noiseless and holds coldness but not like the normal refrigerator.... That's my observation

Inverter Deep Freezer/Fridge Experience
While inverter technology is relatively new in Nigeria, some s have shared their experiences with inverter deep freezers and fridges. Here's a balanced view of the pros and cons:

Pros
1. Energy Efficiency: Inverter deep freezers and fridges consume significantly less power than regular appliances.
2. Cost-Effective: Reduced energy consumption leads to lower electricity bills.
3. Cooling Performance: Inverter technology provides faster cooling and better temperature control.

Cons
1. Durability Concerns: Some s have reported shorter lifespans compared to traditional appliances.
2. Repair Challenges: Repairing inverter deep freezers and fridges can be difficult due to the complex technology involved.
3. Higher Upfront Cost: Inverter appliances are often more expensive than traditional ones.

Cooling Performance After Power Outage
Inverter deep freezers and fridges are designed to retain cooling for several hours after a power outage. However, the exact duration depends on various factors, including:

1. Appliance Quality: Better-quality inverter appliances tend to retain cooling longer.
2. Insulation and Door Seals: Proper insulation and door seals help maintain the cooling temperature.
3. *nitial Temperature: If the appliance is already at a low temperature when the power goes out, it will retain cooling longer.

Conclusion
Inverter deep freezers and fridges offer energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved cooling performance. However, concerns about durability and repair challenges should be considered. If you decide to purchase an inverter appliance, ensure you buy from a reputable brand and follow proper maintenance and usage guidelines.

I hope this summary helps you make an informed decision!
Thank you for your explanation, some people will be talking nonsense
Me I think our problem with the inverter system is that the are not charging at night and low during heavy rainy season when the sunlight is low. If there power supply from morning till 6pm daily the freezer ought to be cool to maintain what is kept inside cool. A low voltage fridge or freezer like Scanfrost will be good

I have Haier Thermocool inverter deep freezer and it works perfectly; does not consume much fuel.
It can keep your food frozen for 4-5 days without electricity

I have had haier thermocool inverter freezer for 2 years now. It works well

You can't compare inverter fridge/ freezer with normal ones.
The inverter ones are better in an environment where you have constant light. Few hours without light will still give the right retention. But if it gets prolonged without light, it's dangerous as you will get spoilt items. A normal freezer might remain frozen and last for 48-72hours without light. While inverter without light is likely to be within 24 hours

Please this is not true. I have used the normal haier thermocool freezer and the inverter freezer and I can state as a fact that my inverter freezer is better and keeps cold for longer hours

I have been using lg linear inverter double- door fridge for over 6 years. The compressor has a 10- year warranty. It chills very fast. Initially I set both freezer and fridge at the highest control level and the fridge wasn't cooling effectively, but I later reset both at halfway as recommended in the 's manual and everything has been fine since. Haven't had any problems with the fridge since I bought it except replacing burnt out relay at 3k which the technician attributed to voltage issue.

They are very slow in cooling, some take up to an hour to cool , while a regular ac will cool in 5 minutes.
Difficult to repair.
Only good for those with small generators

Don't you think that connecting with surge protector will be fine?

I WILL STRONGLY ADVICE PEOPLE TO STAY OFF INVERTER FRIDGE OR FREEZER AND EVEN THE AIR CONDITIONER. I HAVE TWO INVERTER AC'S AND A SAMSUNG AC, I CAN CONFIDENTLY TELL U GUYS THAT THE SAMSUNG AC FREEZES FASTER THAN THE INVERTER ONES
oga Inverter AC is different from inverter freezer ogs undecided

Freezer and AC use different coolant!

Go ahead and get one.
I recommend Bruhm inverter freezer low power rating their 170IE is rated at 78watts R32 refrigerant no freezer claiming to be inverter freezer of same cubic comes close.

There is also 250IEmodel inverter freezer

For inverter split unit air conditioner Bruhm black series smart web and wifi embedded, has little or no challenger low power rating refrigerant R32 same also Daikin, Panasonic smart inverter ACs are web enabled.

Their prices are pocket friendly if you want to separate yourself from your friends lane.

LG has standing fridge /freezer single door that are inverters friendly 45 to 80watts.
When it comes to inverter related appliances we count watts/kwh consumption

If you want to say good bye to bad rubbish, install a hybrid solar system with inverters that works without batteries during the day.

Greenify Solar Energy Nig craft solar system beautifully.

We re not agents of bruhm, Daikin, LG or Panasonic , but direct our value clients to have their money worth by purchasing items that fits solar power systems

I use an inverter fridge and an inverter AC. The fridge works well, but the AC is not too cold
there's one thing you guys need to understand! Inverter AC and inverter freezer are two different technology and you can't compare them together because both freezer and AC use entirely different type of coolant ( propane gas)

You can't use freezer (coolant) propane gas on AC.

Inverter AC normally use to have problems while Inverter freezer don't, depending on the originality

I currently use Termocool inverter double door freezer.
It's very good i have been using it for the past five years. All my appliances are inverter because I only use solar at home.
Though the prices are very expensive but gives peace of mind.
