Russia gets uranium from Congo so it is understandable why the west Rwanda

The war in the Congo has nothing to do with Russian and uranium—it's about coltan and other rare minerals that power the global tech industry. Coltan is essential for making smartphones, laptops, and other electronic devices, and Rwanda has been falsely presenting itself as a major coltan exporter while smuggling it from the Congo.

For over 25 years, Rwanda has been involved in destabilizing eastern Congo to keep control over this valuable resource. The Western powers backing Rwanda benefit from this arrangement because it ensures a steady flow of minerals at low costs, without Congo directly profiting from its own wealth.

This is why the conflict never ends—it's an economic war disguised as an ethnic or political struggle.

These conflicts are unending but preventable. Nigerian leaders should do the needful and save the country from imminent collapse. When the people are no longer afraid to die, it’s all over!

Let them save nigeria first from death due to hunger

Shows they have learnt little in their political history. Better for them to agitate for good governance. They do not understand that in international politics a country's interest comes first before that of others. That is one of the reasons why I find Trump bullseye! M.A.G.A. is it! The Congolese have failed to see that they are their own enemies. Belgians are in Congo to feather their own nest. The Congolese will do well to see how they can tackle the Belgians to feather Congolese nests. It is energy directed wrongly to destroy foreign embassies.

It's getting hotter but how long can their will power hold up or hold off the rebels?. The West are suspiciously silent. Are Kagame and Museveni beyond sanctioning?. It's heart-wrentching how these puppets are being used to destroy the most fertile and endowed country on the continent of Africa. Sadly, the weapons and sophisticated drones M23 rebels are using in killing DR Congo forces and South African military are being supplied by the West. The angst of Africa and Africans must not be misplaced and misdirected but be channeled towards the Western powers, the multi headed snakes feeding off Africa.

Typical African blaming the west for their problems. You have a rebel group who are Congolese attacking their country and their fellow country men just to secure resources to sell to the west and keep the money to themselves. Yet you blame the west. If I ask you to give me your parents money , and you say yes. Then you harm your siblings and parent just to steal the money and give to me. Am I to blame ? also do you think I will discourage you not do it. When will we Africans start taking responsibility for our corrupt , selfish and chop everything finish behavior.

I agree it is a battle for resources. But why is it that rebel groups arise in African countries with resources. Norway, UAE, Denmark, Canada are countries rich in resources , we don't see rebel groups there. But always African countries with a selfish group of people wanting to control everything illegally and ship to the west but gain the money for themselves . of course , the west will encourage this or look the other way as long as their people's lives are not affected.

Exactly! Many Africans wished Trump dead for telling illegal aliens to go fix their own countries! Truth is, no matter how close you are to a friend when it gets to bedtime you cannot share his matrimonial bed with him and his wife! You will have to sort a sleeping space out for yourself!

Rebel groups don’t just arise randomly—they are often tools used by external powers to control resources in weak or unstable states.

Countries like Norway, UAE, Denmark, and Canada have strong institutions, governance, and economic systems that ensure resources benefit the nation. In contrast, many African countries, including the DRC, Sudan, and Central African Republic, suffer from weak institutions, corruption, and external interference.

What should the West do? When you Africans mess your countries, you start shouting for the West. For what? Look at Nigeria with peeps like buhari and tinubu as presidents. Na West cause am too?

Na the West send them to dey fight? If I be the West, I go leave Africa alone. Let them see shege.
Oga, Congo is the richest country in Africa raw material wise, the West will never let that country know peace unless it is fully under their control to exploit. They will fund allied neighbours and rebels to ensure there is a friendly government in place for easy access to what is under the ground. Did you not read that the attack of the embassies is a protest against the silence of the western countries?
Niger recently cried out that it's big neighbour was making moves to distabilise their country under directives from .
Anywhere you find chaos and instability, look further, you will see it is a fight for resources and the hand of the West lead by the US is involved.

If someone gives you a gun to kill your own family, you still have the choice to say no—but what if you're desperate, uneducated, or promised wealth and power? This is how many of these rebel leaders are recruited. They are not fighting for ideology or justice; they are fighting for personal gain, manipulated by powerful external forces that want to keep the Congo weak.

Higher level of intelligence ? I don't agree with that. but Higher level of corruption , selfishishness. and I'm afraid this is part of the African DNA , because I look all over Africa , the story is the same everywhere . Everyone just wants all the resources to themselves and don't mind killing their people for it

You can only be manipulated if you are also only looking for your personal gain. if I try to bribe you , you can take it or leave it. but if you are someone with corrupt personality you will never see the choice to leave the bribe .

The say "Everybody has a price" suggest that no one is completely incorruptible.
Every person can be persuaded or corrupted if offered enough money, power, or something they deeply desire.
Given the right incentive, anyone might compromise their morals, values, or loyalty.

But this is not just one person but a group of people. Willing to sacrifice their lives , their peoples lives and their country's future ......is this due to persuasion or just their own internal demon of corruption and selfishness
