Vandalised embassies and piles of burning tyres marked chaotic demonstrations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s capital Kinshasa to denounce the “inaction” of the international community over the conflict raging in Goma, the main city in the country’s east.

On foot or motorcycles, hundreds of angry demonstrators responding on Tuesday to the “Paralyse the City” call of a youth collective gathered in the upscale district of Gombe in the north of Kinshasa and targeted the embassies of Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, , Belgium and the United States.

They accused Rwanda and Uganda of actively ing the armed group M23 which, after a lightning offensive in North Kivu province with the of Rwandan troops, entered the regional capital, Goma, on Sunday.

On Tuesday, they had taken control of its airport after raging street battles.

The demonstrators accused the other countries of diplomatic inaction.

“Enough is enough, we’re going to destroy everything here. Today, we’re going to finish with Rwanda,” shouted one demonstrator to applause in front of the building that houses the Rwandan embassy in Kinshasa. Thick smoke billowed nearby from tyres set on fire.

The perimeter wall of the French embassy was also set on fire. Graffiti on it read: “Betrayal over a long period of time … let’s end it now.”

Protesters also targeted the embassies of Belgium and the US, and looted the Ugandan mission, taking away furniture on motorcycles and taxis.

It's getting hotter but how long can their will power hold up or hold off the rebels?. The West are suspiciously silent. Are Kagame and Museveni beyond sanctioning?. It's heart-wrentching how these puppets are being used to destroy the most fertile and endowed country on the continent of Africa. Sadly, the weapons and sophisticated drones M23 rebels are using in killing DR Congo forces and South African military are being supplied by the West. The angst of Africa and Africans must not be misplaced and misdirected but be channeled towards the Western powers, the multi headed snakes feeding off Africa.

These conflicts are unending but preventable. Nigerian leaders should do the needful and save the country from imminent collapse. When the people are no longer afraid to die, it’s all over!

Stop the idolizing and butt-licking, are they not paying enough, have they not paid enough for over two decades?. We know how aggressively you kicked against the idea of RUGA just because of mere suspicion of possible existential threats and exploitation. That's how much you kicked against something as close to you as within the same country, how then have you lost a sense of sympathy for people who are not only being exploited and deprived but are also being killed ruthlessly and displaced from their God-given land by Intruders.

Able bodied men setting US embassy on fire when they can fight to defend their country. Are the M23 soldiers hiding? Do they prefer US able bodied men to come into Congo to fight for able bodied Congo youth? A nation of 150 million people crying and destroying US embassy because a militant group captured a city.

Are the people receiving the arms fools?

Bros, how much will I give you to kill your brothers and sisters? Will you do it if I pay you?

You see that blaming the West is not correct? Resisting evil is a choice.

How many westerners have been sponsored by even the arch enemies of the west to cause mayhem in the West? Or do we think that they won't explore this if they have willing fools?

You seems not to understand what's going on, the Government of Rwanda is the sponsor of the M23 rebels, they receive military aids from the US, & others to further their agenda in Congo.

he protests in Kinshasa are a direct result of the ongoing crisis in Congo, with many people accusing Western countries, like and Belgium, of being complicit by doing nothing to stop the violence. Some even believe the crisis is being fueled by outside forces, possibly to gain control over Congo’s vast natural resources. These allegations suggest that some Western nations might be more interested in exploiting the country’s resources than in stopping the conflict. The anger from the people is intense, as they feel abandoned by the international community during this critical

The U.S. and other powerful nations are already involved in the Congo conflict—just not in the way many people expect. Instead of deploying their own troops, they back Rwanda with military aid, intelligence, and diplomatic . Rwanda, in turn, funds and arms groups like M23 to destabilize the Congo and control its vast resources.

Burning embassies won't solve the problem, but neither will blaming ordinary Congolese youth. The real battle is against the hidden hands fueling the conflict.
