How both can share domestic chores etc. Just that! Not Jesus Christ is coming soon. The spate of divorce and separation has forced the clergy to go back to basics.

There are teachers in the public and catholic school system who are encountering extreme difficulties with kids from our community. They do not listen to instructions. When the parents are called, they either do not respond or become recalcitrant.
Some kids form gangs and beat up the white kids, yes they do that. As a matter of fact, they are saying black kids are now being represented in the Canadian penitentiary system (In 2020, Black youth made up 29% of the Black population in the Criminal Justice System). The people cashing out big from the burgeoning population are not complaining or slinging mud. The Doctors with full roster that are not accepting more patients, the folks who have stocks in Loblaws (people go sha chop food), the banks (immigrants go sha have bank s) and even the new immigrants excelling in their fields. Last month I met someone who was earning NGN30K as a teacher with 10 years experience, they came in last year and already have a contract with a remuneration of upwards of CAD5K per month!

You won't find these people complaining about people hopping on 3 appendages to catch a bus!

Yes, there are people experiencing difficulties getting employment etc. What are we going to do about that? Complain about Trudeau? About other people? Or look at ways we can go about it and thereby enrich our community?

They can be ruthless. Any workplace they capture, it is like a state capture in Nigeria. You see a foreign worker scheming out a citizen in a workplace. I once worked in a bakery in Mississauga where I clearly told the manager that there is a language barrier. True- we need to get into the right places and build wealth, open/run businesses, become landlords (controversial, but needed), restaurant chains, franchises, investment banking e.t.c. People might not like you, but they'd respect your cash. For example, despite having a good diasporean community, there are not many Nigerian restaurants abroad. Talk more of exquisite ones- i.e places where you could book a dinner and take workplace colleagues to experience top- notch Nigerian cuisine. Even in England, you'd hardly find a Nigerian restaurants where other top ones are located.

It takes time and we need the critical mass but we also need to be ploughing in the right direction.

Calgary has a population under 1.5million which granted is still growing but its still small when compared to major cities around the world. Many cities transport significantly more people with less hassle. London has 8.6m residents, narrow roads but has a public transport system that caters to more people per hour than Calgary probably does in weeks and yet, I've never seen that much people waiting for a single bus in london. Some Asian cities even transport more than the total population of calgary in a day without such queues.

If you have that much need, then there has been underinvestment and the government needs to see this as an opportunity and seek ways to increase capacity (even if just at peak periods). That alone would increase efficiency, create jobs and boost GDP.

Also, this might be another downside of how north-American cities are structured. I've been to Calgary (and just like many NA cities), found it too car centric with much less walk routes, cyling or public transportation infrastructure/interconnectivity. You virtually have to drive everywhere as just a spot across the road could take one over 25mins to walk to. Compared to the UK/Europe, I prefer walking to the highstreet as would most people.

If you stay in Calgary, you need to put pressure on your government to build its public transportation service. BTW, blaming migrants for traffic is not new- I've seen UK politicians do same.

For all the talk about whites being racist, in today's world, black people would enjoy, and actually do enjoy, better and higher economic opportunities where white people are in charge than any other group of people. As Black people, the closest whites allies are Anglophones starting with white Americans, then British and so on.

Black people who say the white man is racist are clearly ignorant about other groups of people. In fact, it's because of this group of white people that makes other groups to share similar economic opportunities to black people.

True- we need to get into the right places and build wealth, open/run businesses, become landlords (controversial, but needed), restaurant chains, franchises, investment banking e.t.c. People might not like you, but they'd respect your cash. For example, despite having a good diasporean community, there are not many Nigerian restaurants abroad. Talk more of exquisite ones- i.e places where you could book a dinner and take workplace colleagues to experience top- notch Nigerian cuisine. Even in England, you'd hardly find a Nigerian restaurants where other top ones are located.

It takes time and we need the critical mass but we also need to be ploughing in the right direction.

He claims he works in UK or Canada as a doctor but has no problem leaking people's personal data to public. I won't be surprised if that's how he leaks his patient's personal data.

I am not diminishing reported racist experiences you had which have left you bitter.

However, you'd struggle to get wider/rational engagement on this issue if you are more focused on using slurs/spreading hate. Even leaders of civil right movement knew how to about rallying . If we can't/wouldn't say it in person, then we shouldn't write it online

My question which you've failed to answer is this: what are you doing about it? And in same vein, what should we do about it?
