OK, what has that to do with dropping N100 and telling him to pick it instead of just letting him down

Lol, u might know and still be unable to identify who took it, if u think I'm lieing trying it at night around 9 pm in busy area. It happened to me last year Shiloh after we are done and I'm heading home, that jeans is super tight if there is something like that. I discovered my phone was moved immediately but first no light to see people face, we were too crowdy, second no body want to give me their phone to flash it because it's night, they took can't even see my face. I just shouted they have stolen my phone and later I went home jejely. Naso I take lost the phone. All this sango boiz can move anything
That one strong o, but I assume your phone was peeping, making it easy for a touch and grab. When 1/3 of your phone is above the top of your pocket, then you are making it easy for them. Deep pockets can't be that smooth, the person hand go dey stuck because you are in motion. It will be a rough one

U r right there, the pocket was not dat deep. People can get a hold of it. But i think most tight jeans dont have deep pockets

Always form the habit of checking your phone in the pocket, especially when highlighting from a public vehicle. Cautiousness is key!

You left your phone inside the keke to pick 100 outside or how?
He did not mention the position of the said phone. He said that it was just him in the keke. The driver was in the front seat, while he was behind. How was his phone picked if there was no other enger to aid the driver.
I will simply conclude that he was very careless. His phone was not picked. Rather his phone dropped off his pocket while he was not observing. The keke driver, seeing it, took advantage and sped off.

Welcome to lag 😁😁
The reason why they did that to you was bcus they knew you were not concentrating... Maybe you had your earpieces or ear pod on and you were probably glued to your phone
Blocking ya ears is a sure poster on ya face asking to be robbed... In Lagos that is...
I've stopped doing that for years.. Those bastaards don go do psychology for street school...
Blocking ya ears steals concentration and focus and allows dem perform their magick on you... SMH

When I got into the back of the keke, there was one other enger, driver said he needed change so i paid him the normal fare, he said that he wanted more, so i asked him to return my money and drop me, he kept trying to make me add money on top the normal fare which i disagreed.
In the process of trying to return my money he dropped 100 naira out of the keke which was still moving at this point. He gave me the rest of my money and asked me to go and pick the one that fell outside,. So I got out and started looking for this money on the side of the road (he had already zoomed off).
It was after like five minutes of searching and not finding the money that i noticed that my phone was no longer in my pocket.
that is their new mode of operation these days, my phone was stolen in this manner also

Op, sorry about that. But, l don’t know what some people gain in causing pain to others. The pain of someone losing his phone 2ru theft no be here. Not to talk of when you don’t have money to buy another one soon. Now, they will go and sell the phone cheap price.
The last time someone left his phone (Iphone12promax) in my Keke, the guy called and started pleading with me to return his phone. I told him not to worry I would return his fone to him. To cut long story short, we arranged a plc and I returned his phone.
I didn’t even wait for him to thank me I moved immediately. He actually came to our park the following day. On seeing me, he asked “what kind of human being are u”? We just chatted small I load my engers. When I was about to move, he squeezed some cash in my hand on getting home, I counted it. Omo... Na 20k.

This happened everywhere not only in Lagos. It happened to me at the beginning of this month in Ota, OGUN state. I took a NAPEP from Oju Ore going towards the Bells. On getting to Obasanjo the driver told me to come down that he doesn’t have change. I told him he shouldn’t worry that I’ll look for change for him when I get to my bus/stop. Meanwhile; I was having two phones. My iPhone 7 Plus and small Nokia phone. So my small phone rang & I was on call before I know what’s up. My iPhone has been moved & I was told to come down that I shouldn’t bother to pay. I was like. I couldn’t concentrate cos I was still on call before after some minutes I discovered my iPhone is gone. After one week I tracked it & I found the at Mushin. So sad.
same thing happened to me at atan last year! But those guys will be caught and make to regret

Everybody wants to swindle another in Lagos. You have to be on alert in Lagos. Nobody is your friend. You have to treat everyone has a suspect. And this applies to every facet of life in Lagos not just the transport sector.

Do you people know why the government is turning a deaf ear to all these issues in Lagos? Most Nigerians are easy to be fooled. Where you push them to is where they go and they will still come online and be forming muscle like they are smart and brave.

Lagos rule 101: Once you leave your house, your phone/wallet n other valuables should be in your hand till you reach your destination.
Repeat same process when going back to your house.

Exactly! Whenever I use public transport I see every other enger as a criminal. You just can't afford to feel very comfortable inside a public vehicle full of strangers. The only way you can steal a phone from me is at gunpoint.
